Smoult's is one of my favourite eateries in Maylands. The service is super friendly, the selection of savoury dishes and cakes is extensive and everything is super fresh! I always look forward to sporadic lunches so I can order their salads - all of which are super tasty and fresh.
Don’t let the average rating deter you. If you’re from Melbourne, love food, or are a vegetarian this place is for you. Gorgeous selection of home made items and pantry food to take home too - including merediths goat cheese which is hands down the best feta you’ll ever have. The owner is friendly and welcoming. 6/5 stars. I’ll be back every time I visit Perth!!
We purchased a picnic and it was amazing! Filled with a generous amount of cheeses, meats, quiches/frittata, dips, french baguette, raw balls and more. The staff are so lovely and friendly. Went back the next week for lunch and this is a great option for anyone working nearby. Coffee was delicious and fast.

The best coffee in Maylands by a long shot. The deli style food is fantastic and everything they have is tasty. New products every couple of weeks keeps it interesting. Customer service as it should be. Great work girls I'll be coming back every weekend for a coffee and a few tasty treats 😀

Deli crew rulz!. These two ladies are the best deli ladies out! Smoult's selection of small goods is never ending and melt in your mouth good. Check it.
Good neighbourhood deli. I've been to Smoult's many a time to peruse their selection of cheese, crackers, preserved meats and dry selections. They do a great $35 take-away picnic which is well suited to movies or picnics in King's park. You can also just as easily pick your own picnic items and do an ala-carte option to suit your specific tastes. Overall a diverse selection of fine foods and friendly staff to help you take your pick.
Just the ordered the most amazing food hamper! Brilliant service, could not have been more helpful and she double checked with photos before purchase to ensure I was happy with the choices. We ordered from NZ for a family member in Perth. Presentation was outstanding - totally recommend sending a hamper as a great gift idea!

Very friendly service. Always get a hello as I walk in. Good coffee and the store made pies are full of filling. All the food looks great really.

They use a good quality soy milk, thankfully, not the Milk Lab stuff which I don't like and too many cafés are using these days. They use Happy Happy Soy Boy last time I checked.
I actually only come here for the coffee so can't comment on the other stuff but it looks like a really good place to buy gourmet foods, though not a lot of vegan options!

Smoults Larder in Maylands directly opposite the train station is a place you must try. They have so much variety of meals there including different pies sausage rolls, hot and cold cut meats, heaps of salads, sandwiches. You can have a coffee/ tea or a cold beverage and sit there relaxing whilst the day goes by. There are inside and outside seating too.
They have an abundance of cakes if you are a sweet tooth person. staff there are exceptionally helpful and friendly and go out of the way to assist you as much as they can...
It's a delight to visit Smoults. We visit often for delicious coffee and takeaway lunch. This morning we dined in for breakfast. The scrambled eggs were delicious. The staff are amazing, always friendly and go that extra mile to get your order just right.
I’d eat here for lunch every other day if I worked close by. Try a salad, or try 4 in a plate. The only regret you’ll have is not having enough stomach for all of them. My card transaction with them said “Chapels by Whatley” so I guess they’re by the same good people along the street.
Back today 19 June..chai latte n best vegetable/green salad 🥗 for lunch..great fresh food. Cheers
