Love the setting, and the art / theatre of the signature cocktails. I would of given this place 4 or 5 stars, however we were a little miss lead as they are not a dessert bar as some of the photos show on the reviews. Very much recommended for cocktail and small nibbles. Thanks for the experience and friendly service.

Went today for a hens party. The savoury selection was lovely. Found some of the sweet selection overly too sweet. Lovely afternoon though the staff were great and very accommodating. It was overly warm in there as aircon was not working, which made it not pleasant to be in.

Booked a high tea for my friend’s birthday on a Sunday. The online booking process was easy and they confirmed via phone call.
Our waiter Thomas was friendly and attentive, in fact all the staff were lovely.
We enjoyed our afternoon and loved the high tea savory and sweet items as well as their range of fruit, black and green teas!
I will definitely be back :)

Friend took me here for a surprise. Very chill/dark vibes here, and super helpful/friendly staff. We were only here for dessert and some drinks. Recommend this place to anyone.

The service was poor, both people that served us were rude and incapable of the slightest bit of change. The food was bland and inedible (except the tiny little sandwich) and incredibly expensive. Cheap champagne. These two plates and a glass of champagne for $75. You go to a high tea to have a classy experience but this did not meet this expectation. Go elsewhere and save your money. It's an "oh no" from me.

I had been here before and my last experience was magical. Unfortunately something was missing this time. Staff were fantastic and the presentation of food and cocktails still remain at a high quality, it's the flavour and missing the WOW factor. Marshmallow colada - marshmallow unfortunately tasted disgusting and the first 1/2 of the drink wasn't pleasant, but it did get nicer towards the end. The caramel expresso the waitress said it tasted more like caramel than coffee this was not the case.
The desserts looked delicious and tasted great but just lacked something, the bread and butter pudding might of needed a little more sweetness and the Nutella ball as well. Again this place is a great venue but I just expected a bit more from the food and drinks.

We opted for the French sparkling package. The savoury plate was average. The potato and cheese sandwich was good though. Not a fan of the dessert plate as it was overwhelming and did not particularly enjoy the chocolate and shredded coconut combo. The serving staff were great and the coffee was good. We would have appreciated it more if they had switched on the air-conditioning in the place as it was sweltering. Did not feel it was worth the money we spent.

Quirky stylish venue. Delicious savoury and sweet treats. The French sparkling wine was refreshing. I also enjoyed the coffee and tea. The only issue was that 2 hours just felt too short and we did not get enough time to order more tea and coffee.

My husband booked us and our 2 kids in for the mother's day high tea. He advised prior to coming that my daughter is lactose intolerant. We were really excited to come.
The adult meals came first and looked amazing. Then came the kids meals. Despite advising we required a special meal a normal one was brought out so that my daughter had to watch us eat. It's ok, a new meal was provided. A bit of a throw together that didn't look as great as the rest, but ok.
Then comes the sweet portion. Again, adult meals provided first. An incredible array of sweets. Then comes normal kids dessert which also looks good. Then comes lactose free dessert- 3 scoops of sorbet. We all have an incredibly beautiful plate of sweets each and the poor kid gets sorbet. At full childs menu price. I would have thought that with notice something slightly more appealing and comparative could have been provided. I appreciate she is young, however what was provided was disproportionate to the price charged.
Unfortunately this cast a shadow over our enjoyable meal and cocktails as we had to juggle a jealous kid missing out on a special treat. I expected more given you had advance notice. Surely even some fruit or a sauce/ topping at minimum? If not at least let us know so we could have made an informed decision as to whether this was the place for us.

Been wanting to dry this place for the desert, excited to finally got try it..... but very much disappointed . The previous chef has left and therefore the menu has changed. Ordered 3 serves of the afternoon tea set, variety and taste was ok nothing really stand out. It could have been a pleasant afternoon tea, until we tried to eat everything thinking that they all should be edible..... the waitress didn’t tell us that we are not supposed to eat the sugar soil that was in the cup!!! Here we are stuffing ourselves with eating spoons of sugar calories that could potentially harmful to our health, and no one seems to care until we really had to stop. And when the same waitress about to collect the dishes, she only mentioned it without apology! Thanks Omnom, we will never forget this experience....

Every meal that leaves this kitchen is a piece of art. The dessert degustation is a must! The service was attentive and their cocktails are truly an experience not simply a drink. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special night out in Melbourne :)

Loved the speciality desserts at this classy restaurant. They made my birthday extra special by serving me a beautiful plate with happy birthday written on chocolate and a delicious handmade chocolate on it. The staff is very attentive and very helpful.

Walked in at 9pm to see if they had a table for two for dessert.. without luck, which was fine... but the attitude of the staff at reception was condescending to say the least.
We asked for any dessert recommendations nearby, and the response was a flippant ‘no’ from two female staff members.
Not the welcoming Melbourne hospitality we are used to...

Yet again, service was great. I had a booking for 7.45, came about half an hour early and guess what "You're table is actually ready for you." - was the response. No mess, no fuss. Dessert was delicious and always beautiful. My secret garden drink was 'solidly' intriguing to start off with...but sooner or latet it'll melt right through you (wink).

Husband booked last minute and had advised it was a special birthday. Dessert booking for 9pm. Arrived and greeted with 'happy birthday', advised we should have a better table.... so delvered to a romantic table in the corner. Complementary macaroons beautifully presented. Patience and assistance from staff to order what we had trouble choosing. It all sounded so wonderful. Timely delivery of food and drinks with explanations of what we had in front of us. Everything had the WOW factor and taste to match. I am not giving away our choice but safe to say i cant wait for another special occasion to try what i saw on other tables too. Absolutely nothing dissapointed us. The service, food, drinks, price, theatrics and ambiance made the night perfect. Thank you Om Nom
