Hands down, one of the most exceptional cakes I've ever had! No wonder it's known as one of the best cake shops in the city. Despite of it being a little pricey, it was worth it given the quality of the cake I had.

Finally got a chance to try their signature Brownie Passionfruit Chocolate Gateau! It had this crispy chocolate layer on the top along with refreshing passionfruit and thick chocolate mousse layers which gave off this silky smooth rich flavour - perfect amount of sweetness with a hint of acidity from passionfruint. It's also has this thick layer of chocolate glaze on top to give that additional chocolate kick. Overall, it was a beautiful masterpiece :) Can't wait to visit again to try their other cakes - heard their lemon tart is also popular!

When it comes to cakes and dessert you know they have got your sorted!

I ordered the passionfruit and brownie cake and it was really good. It was a favourite among my friends and i really enjoyed the textures and flavours of the cake

It had just the right balance between the flavours and it was not too sweet

Really enjoyed the desserts here

I was stoked that Pat at work celebrated his 25th year of service to the organisation because it meant a cake from Le Petit Gateau... this time a flourless orange which was well worth the calories... seems to becoming a trend in the team ... which is hardly a bad thing.

Happy Birthday Joti. Great things come from Le Petit Gateau it seems so when we had some workplace birthday cake catering to organise it kind of made sense. Delicious dense chocolate with a thick layer of "lite" smooth silky ganache. Very rich so only the smallest sliver required. This cake was texturally perfect and judging by the number of clean plates everyone enjoyed it. If I'm honest a chocolate cake would never be my top pick but I could certainly appreciate the effort and quality that went into this one.

The steady stream of people pouring into the store is enough advertising. It's taken us this long to visit because it's not open on weekends.

We can see the kitchen where the magic happens but the eyes instantly popped at the glass counter where the beautiful cakes are displayed, inducing the all too familiar 'eyes too big for stomach' problem.

The Lychee Blush was light and delicate, with each element playing its part in the taste symphony. The raspberry compote centre is surrounded by a light lychee mousse and a pistachio crumble base. In contrast the Thai Milk Tea was rich with layered cream cheese, butter cream and Thai tea ganache. Both were too good to pass 'Go'.

Will come back for:
+ Brownie Passionfruit Chocolate Gateau

This little cake shop bake some of the most decadent cakes in town. I have been buying cakes from here for special occasions for years and the quality never wavers. My favourite is definitely the brownie gateau, but really you can’t go wrong with any of your selections. Staff are super friendly and professional. Do yourself a favour and give this place a go if you have a sweet tooth. Prices are not cheap, but certainly worth it for what you get.

One of the best places in CBD for coffee and cakes. The Hazelnut Praline Mud cake was sheer brilliant. They bake fresh using best quality ingredients.

Always wanted to come here and finally walked past it so went in for a Banoffee - which was a banana cake with caramelised pecans, banana creamy, pecan white chocolate mousse topped with salted caramel. It was really nice with a lot of textures and layers/elements, however the price was a bit steep for the small cake at $9.90.

I would say that personally, I really like the texture of this cake shop. It's all so soft and smooth. Usually a cake shop with beautiful exterior. Most of them are not very tasty, but not at all. This restaurant is delicious. The taste is slightly sweet. There is a taste of sour fruit to cut a bit. Highly recommend

Such a lovely lovely cake shop! Many selections to choose from, and we settled on the Black Forest and Lychee Blush. They were both delicious and not too sweet. I could taste real lychee fruit too! Will definitely be going back to try out their other cakes! Customer service is wonderful, and the cakes are also securely packed for takeaway. Thank you for the lovely experience ❤️

Highly recommend the hazelnut millefeuille!! It had so many textures: a crunchy biscuit base, firm chocolate and creamy mousse. I couldn't get enough. The Monsieur green tea had very light and refreshing green tea mousse.

Been loving this place ever since discovering them in 2016! Their Hazelnut Mille Feuille is absolutely divine. They had a special mini cake on the day, I didn't catch the name but there was chocolate and hazelnut, it was so amazing! The staff are always warm and friendly, and the seating area is well-maintained.
