White Mojo was absolutely fantastic with our group breaky! Highly recommend you book a spot because this place is super popular and gets busy! If you have to wait in line for a table, it’s well worth it. It’s a gorgeous spot in Melb! James, the manager there, was easy to communicate with and accommodating. The menu is great with some delicious options. Coffee was perfect and the team were super attentive. Thank you for having us, we’ll be back! Highly recommended
I have had many breakfasts in my life but never anything like at White Mojo!
Every little piece on the plate is well thought out, balanced and well made. I find the way the menu is presented new thinking and creative while it covers everything you might want for breakfast.
The food simply comes out beautifully plated and tastes even better.
Friendly and attentive staff puts the cherry on the top for this place – you’ve definitely got yourself a new regular. I’m very impressed!
Loved the design of the shop, staff were very helpful, food looked amazing, all these cafe's doing less is more but with White Mojo you get your monies worth and we only had to wait 15mins for a table (Sunday - 11.30am) and i cannot recommend the black latte enough!
Sitting here right now and everyone is so lovely my food was absolutely delicious but I wasn’t feeling the best so only was able to have a few bites and the staff were so lovely the not only didn’t let me pay (which I wanted to as the food was amazing) but they went next door to buy me a peppermint tea to help my upset tummy! Just above and beyond amazing for my first visit I highly recommend!
The award winning double chilli cheese scrambled egg dish was hands down the best breakfast dish I have had to date 😍
With so many cafes in the CBD, White Mojo surely stood out as one of the best. Earlier this week, I had a chance to try some of their new menus and as usual I was blown away! Some of the recommended option will be the ‘Smoke’ Salmon, Matcha Orange Pancake and S’More Waffle!
The ‘Smoke’ salmon is served with a glass cover and smoke (what White Mojo is well-known for). Indeed the situation got a little smoky until the interesting layers was revealed. Gin and tonic cured Atlantic salmon, roast beetroot labneh, whipped avocado and tahini, pomegranate and chive vinaigrette, puffed quinoa and poached egg. The ‘Smoke’ salmon was gone almost immediately.
The S’more Waffle is as tasty as its look. The crunchy waffles are topped with toasted meringue, Nutella frosting, house made semifreddo and macerated raspberries. Delicious and beautiful dessert brunch to share or to have it for yourself!
Matcha Orange Pancake is my favourite! The soft and zesty orange pancake is topped with fresh seasonal fruit, chocolate crumble, fairy floss, popping candy and a side of white chocolate matcha cream.
For drinks, White Mojo done it again with another hyped drink, the Black Latte! Fragrance and mildly sweet black sesame in a drink. Comforting and yet so aesthetic!
A stunning little breakfast/brunch joint with the best coffee around. I had the award winning chilli cheese scrambled eggs on a black brioche bun and the bride, the pulled pork, egg & hollandaise. Absolutely magnificent, will be back again and again!
Beautiful little place. I went with 3 friends and my baby; the staff were very friendly and even though there was no high chair they were very accomodating with my baby.
The food was delicious!
Been here a few times now, both stores are fantastic! Food is soooo tasty and the creativity of the chefs have got me hooked!
So far i have tried the Soft Shell crab Croissant Burger with Chipotle mayo!! *mouth watering just reminiscing*
The new Pork Benedict has tender succulent and good sized portion of pork, it was a hit on the table!
And don't forget breaky dessert : P Waffles topped it off hehe
Definitely worth checking out : )

Not a fan of brunch but absolutely enjoyed dining experience here :) I often feel like I don't get my money's worth at brunch places but White Mojo was different. I had "Mushroom Risotto" which was surprisingly savory and delicious. There were different types of mushrooms in it and they all tasted fresh! Highly recommend a visit here
Mocha is amazing! Has the Chocolate flavor but didn't takeover the coffee fragrance, chai latte was come with a pot, so it's like a double.
I went there with my friend we ordered and had to wait up to 30 minutes to get served, while the restaurant isn’t crowded at all. In return, the dish was excellent but hopefully don’t to wait that long in the future.
One of the coolest cafes in the CBD, White Mojo is a must visit, and worth the wait. Lines can be long, but I find mid week is better than weekends. With it's beautiful white decor and marble tables, this cafe is bright and light with a fabulous atmosphere. It's always busy, but the service is fantastic and staff are so sweet.
The menu has an Asian fusion twist with lots of interesting choices. I love the coffee choices too, with the black sesame latte being a favourite. We had an amazing eggs Benedict and the pancakes, with both dishes being gorgeous in appearance.
The eggs came atop a huge slice of toasted brioche, and a salmon tartare. So divine and tasty. The pancakes were art on a plate, with a huge superfine tuille, fresh fruits and an abundance of torched meringue. The pancakes themselves were delicious, and this is easily one of the best pancake dishes in Melbourne.
White Mojo is definitely a popular venue is busy Hardware Lane, and rightfully so. The combination of cool ambience, modern decor and a sensational menu keeps me coming back, as does the friendly chats with the lovely staff.
We ordered the Signature Croissant Burger and their award winning Double Cheese Chilli Scramble Egg. The black latte with bonsay was surprisingly very nice!!

Do you actually know what Mojo means? ✨ Mojo mean magic so I think we can all agree that it made sense to be visiting these guys first first as landing back to Melbourne!
And not just that, really! But actually the place is located in the iconic and one and only laneways of Melbourne. I don’t think I could be any more Melbournian right now 😂 such a cliche, such a very needed and welcomed cliche indeed!
The cafe has both an outdoor seating area and an inside, with different patterns and styles.
The outside features a more tradicional and Melbourne style, with the little white wood tables, but with a touch of mystery to it, due to the shadows that the building naturally creates. Maybe not just mysterious but actually mystic even. Very enjoyable to hang outside and that’s where I opted to have brunch.
The inside is absolutely stunning too though and a whole different world. The walls have a beehive pattern and it resembles a glove even and they also feature painting of very peculiar drawings and drafts. Skulls. But not just any skulls - artistic and flower themed skulls! Absolutely incredible. Each table is also carefully taken care of and I loved and they feature some flowers that are dry yet beautiful.
Besides the great enriching environment, the signs are all inviting and they have a sign at the entrance that says ‘come in, we’re awesome’. And of course, there’s a reverse ☺️ and that says ‘closed, but still awesome’ 😂 the staff was also welcoming and they are quite helpful to cater for special dietary requirements. Being lactose intolerant and eating mostly plant based, I definitely think that after looking at the menu (which I had before visiting), they should have more options or alternatives.
Being in the centre of the city and such a reputable cafe, it’s important to please everyone and make sure that people have not just one option but actually a couple of options that can pick from, when there’s a specific dietary reason. No one likes to feel limited or embarrassed to be asking for alterations and alternatives, and even then, sometimes risking to get the wrong ingredients in the ordered meal, so I definitely think that is something that they should consider changing. Keeping up with the rest of the cafe trends too is important and getting a more plant based friendly side to things is always appreciated.
Either way, the staff was extremely helpful to make the meals dairy free friendly and to my preference. Unfortunately there wasn’t any sweet option that could be done dairy free or vegan, so I had to stick with the savoury meals and this is what I had:
Crushed Green - a combination of avocado and green pea mash that in a sentence is A WHOLE LOT OF A MEAL 👌 seriously if you’re a avocado toast lover, you’ll absolutely drool over this one. The serving is absolutely fantastic and very generous and the fact that it has peas inside (both whole and blended!) makes it quite interesting and different than the other places I’ve visited and when for the usual and classic avo toast. There’s also an extra avocado tahini purée that for someone that prefers sweet meals, was slightly too much 😂, but in an objective perspective, it’ll be very much loved and appreciated by most savoury lovers. As you can see, they don’t space of avocado and it such it great in quality and overall taste! My favourite part was definitely and undoubtedly the mixed seeds nuts of top of the whole spread. I love any church to meals and that was outstanding and just the ultimate touch to make me happy with this meal👌it also comes with some cherry tomato, nicely dressed and some radish that I was a fan too. I personally was welcomed the poached egg that came with a special touch to it - some dark powder to it! Stunning! On the bottom you have two pieces of crunchy and toasted sourdough that are previously also sprinkled with olive oil and give a difference to other places. You can also add chicken to the meal if you want to make it more filling 🤗
Middle Eastern Salad - mixed filling about this one! Absolutely in love with the ingredients and how the meal came - presentation is great! It is an absolute wholesome meal too as it combines chickpea hummus with a mix of barley and lentils dressed in rapeseed vinaigrette. However in only comes with rostered carrots, some avocado and some pieces of orange and I personally feel that it needs some kind of bread in it so you can actually get some more consistency and crunchiness to the meal. I actually asked for a side of sourdough and the extra turned out to be the perfect solution and I wouldn’t have it any other way. So I would definitely recommend that if you’re visiting and you want to have this, ask for a little piece of bread and you’ll see how life changing it is! If comes with a couple of roasted hazelnuts and zatar too which I also think there should be more. Despite loving the ingredients separately here, I think that the whole predominantly fat mix of hummus and avocado is too much considering the serving is quite significant! I would personally even rather have more lentils and less hummus because there that consistency element missing 😂 But of course that’s only my opinion and others might feel differently. I leave the friendly suggestions above but of course I still enjoyed it.
Create your own - you also have the option to create your own meal and you can pick from some of the sides and make your own creation. I personally wanted something simple so I just added cured salmon, that was great in presentation and serving 👌 and some roasted mushrooms and tomatoes that were massive in size and absolutely incredible in taste! A simple yet delicious choice for those that want to personalise and make a more specific request! It’s a great idea in my opinion!
Black Latte with Bonsoy - I have to say that even though this was just a drink, this was definitely the highlight of my meal. As a sweet person, I definitely prefer anything sweet 😂and this was just outstanding! I had actually never had a black sesame latte but I had had a smoothie/shake before and I had adored the taste. It’s similar to chocolate but kind of less intense, so definitely ideal for those people that like chocolate but not too much! The blend is made also with soy and not any other milk because of the combination of flavours and I absolutely loved how perfect and balanced it was. There was some powder accumulation on the bottom but I think it was from taking a bit of time for the pictures because I didn’t feel any lack of taste and there was no aftertaste either. Loved it and would definitely recommend not just for the instaworthy pictures but definitely for for the taste and drink itself. An applause to the barista too for the great latte art.
Iced Matcha Latte - good presentation! In terms of taste, I have to say that it was slightly too strong and a little too much matcha in the mix. But still enjoyable and within what can be acceptable 👌😂 the size isn’t very big - it’s a small clear glass and I think that it should be slight bigger if we were talking about a smoothie, but for a latte it was appropriate. Not 100% happy with it but still not too bad. Would have rather had another sesame latte instead though 😂
Almond Latte - INCREDIBLE INCREDIBLE INCREDIBLE. I don’t think I’ve ever been more grateful for a coffee. Especially for a REAL Melbourne coffee. The taste was superb and the froth was just right. This doesn’t make vem need me to make a rant - it is perfect and that’s why they also won awards from it. Period.
I had a great time here and I think the venue is not only well located but they certainly know how to provide good hospitality. They are missing on allergen friendly and plant based meals (especially when it comes the sweet options) and I know that they certainly can create something great here if they want to!
I'd say their menu is a hit and miss situation. It's either absolutely amazing or just downright weird. We recently tried their Salmon Confit, which was weird for me. But the Salmon Benedict was absolutely awesome.
They're well-known for its black latte (sesame latte) and its unique Signature Croissant Burger. Double Chilli Cheese Scramble Egg, on the other hand, tasted like a pizza in a burger form.
I really enjoyed this place! The coffee was delicious and we were well looked after by the staff. It was great service. They were very attentive and friendly.

One of Melbourne's most popular brunch spots in the CBD. On a beautiful day we managed to grab a seat in Hardware lane. We had the perfect summer brunch spread. What we had... Famous Soft Shell Crab Croissant: This is a classic dish and one of the most popular dishes at White Mojo. Also very delicious as the soft shell crab is topped with fried egg and in a buttery croissant. Mushroom Croquettes: One of the most unqiue croquettes ive had. The smooth silky fried croquettes filled with mushrooms were delicious. Mille Feuille: A perfect summer dessert, but eat it quick as the hot sun will melt it fast!Definitely a spot to check out in the city during your weekend shopping trips.
Loved this place. Had eaten breakfast there 1 days per week.I reckon this was my fifth time visiting White Mojo and it’s so instagrammable!
Really great place to eat and chill with friends.Cozy little cafe on Hardware Street and nice coffee.
White Mojo Specialty Coffee was a brunch spot in the CBD, famous for their Signature Crossiant Burger and lovin’ it!
Love love love....food excellent.....servers very nice.I recently visited White Mojo to try their new menu items, and I was so impressed.
An absolutely gorgeous brunch cafe.Nice and friendly, always on time like they indicate.
Seriously couldn't fault anything with White Mojo.We usually have breakfast at this location every day.The service is fast and I love the food.
Always a great time. Incredible service, warm, welcoming and very good coffee! I adore it here! I absolutely love it and eat there when I can.
Little cafe hidden in a small laneway. Flavour wise are nice. Good vibe.
Been here several times and food and drinks have been consistently good! All time favorites are their Chilli Scrambled Egg!
pretty nice and the girls there are very helpful.
Great coffee.I recommend this place to anyone and everyone, I'm sure you will love it. I will definitely be coming back again for more!
Great coffee! They got busy quick but we had great service and the atmosphere made it feel like home.
one of the few cafes I like in the city. Introduced by my Spain housemate, I in turn introduced to 2 of my friends and my brother. They all love it.
Love the coffee! This place has really great decor; truly a beautiful place! Will definitely come back here again!
Got 3 bags of coffee beans. I LOVED the layout of this cafe. It is BRIGHT and it is VIBRANT.
Best soy latte I’ve had in a while!! Very tasty food, coffee, and great prices!I always take visiting colleagues here for breakfast and they love it.They also have the best black sesame Latte, really enjoyed it.
Absolutely gorgeous cafe- such a great vibe and really attentive staff.so good and yummy! Enjoyed my staying here.
Definitely an insta worthy cafe that lives up to its hype! One of the best coffee I’ve had in a while
beautiful decor. Insta-friendly, worth to go. Coffee was good as well. Will come back here again!
The place is welcoming, the staff very friendly and the serving is done really quickly. We arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen was closing and they still were very welcoming and gave us good suggestions on what to order. The dishes have a lot of presence, very well presented! My friend ordered Middle eastern platter which was very complete and tasty. I ordered Salmon Benedict, was good in my opinion had to much sauce mix in the salmon with the egg Benedict sauce which some could find tasty but for me the flavour of the salmon got lost.
Next time I will come back to try some other dishes since their menu has everything to offer.
It is quite spacious and we got a spot in a quite corner. The staff was very nice and attentive. We've ordered a Matcha Soy Latte and a regular Latte.
They were both really good but the serving was really tiny for the price.
Come with my friends. Waiting 25 mins for a seat, friendly staff, nice environment and yummy food.
I reckon this was my fifth time visiting white mojo. I had the most instagrammable coffee at every visiting.
Love this place, it’s little hidden, the food was very nice, the coffee was decent, providing sparkling water, and the service was really nice.
White Mojo coffee is a pretty famous cafe located along hardware lane.. Food wise portions were quite generous and even though we shared a serving this was enough to fill us up. staffs are very friendly too..
We went to White Mojo on a Saturday at about 1pm. We were seated and were brought menus immediately. The staff were fantastic with bringing us water, taking our orders and bringing us our drinks really quickly. Enjoyed our staying there.
Stopped by White Mojo for a nice iced coffee on a cold morning in Melbourne. Although the ice coffee came as a glass bottle it was pretty good.
Not a coffee expert but pretty decent coffee being that I can feel the coffee intensity. Love it. Yea, it was definitely a ‘wow’.
I love the design and the ambience of the cafe. people enjoy in the cafe. It is a good place for some chats and enjoys your lunch break.
This place is a Melbourne hot spot and is always busy. Beautiful setting! Look forward to returning.
This is such an amazing venue serving great breakfast, brunch and dinner options with an amazing rustic interiors and aesthetics! Love white mojo coffee, a lot!
Amazing food with great service, my favourite was the chilli scrambled egg! Yummy 😋 it was busy when we arrived, so we waited about 20mins for a table but it was definitely worth it. Food was delicious and well presented, definitely will be back.
There’s always a long queue, can’t understand the hype but lord have I been wrong the entire time. This joint is 110% worth a visit and that crossiant burger is a hit.
This place is very popular, staff is knowledgeable about the food and adjusted my meal.
I have wanted to go eat at white mojo for some time now. Really great place for girls day out, beautiful vibe.
Love the coffee! This place has really great decor; truly a beautiful place! Will definitely come back here again!
Got 3 bags of coffee beans. I LOVED the layout of this cafe. It is BRIGHT and it is VIBRANT.
Great coffee. The food is beautifully presented, one of my favourite place to go! We to wait 20 minutes for a table but thats not completely unusual in Melbourne at the weekend.
Having really enjoyed the food here. Came here at 2:30pm for coffee and to do some reading. Good ambience and service here. The venue is amazing - perfect for gatherings, baby showers, birthday celebrations.
The environment is pretty nice and the girls there are very helpful which I really appreciate except we’d been waiting for more than 20 mins.
unlike the other brunch places that only offers pretty food, this one is actually yummy. the mushroom one is the star!! def a must try!
Best soy latte I’ve had in a while!! They also have the best black sesame Latte, really enjoyed it.
Absolutely gorgeous cafe- such a great vibe and really attentive staff. Enjoyed my staying here.
Definitely an insta worthy cafe that lives up to its hype! One of the best coffee I’ve had in a while
Staff's friendly and beautiful decor. Insta-friendly, worth to go. Coffee was good as well. Will come back here again!
Overall, it was a good lunch experience with my friends but there was still some details that prevented us to fully enjoy it.
Food:
Initially, we ordered seafood risotto and salmon benedict. Sadly, they sold out the salmon so we got double cheese Chili scrambled eggs. Firstly, the seasoning for both dishes were spot on and it brought a good balance in flavor. The rice was perfect not too soaky. Really love how creamy and the heat of scrambled eggs, texture was really nice as well. However, the seafood and the bacon were severely over cooked ( burnt and dry prawn, rubbery mussels and chewy and really tough bacon).
After that, we got a Thai milk tea panacotta. The texture was just fine and love the earthy flavor that nut and chocolate cake added. On the other side, we felt it would be better if the panacotta had more sugar.
Customer service:
Even it was a busy lunch but the service was friendly and attentive. And we happy with it.
We also enjoyed the environment, the white walls, lavender on the table and the table settings.
Would come back !
Coffee was really really good. The dish I like the most was French toast ..... fruits n toppings were just appropriate n wasn’t super sweet just right sweetness . Loved it . Been there few times now. Also loved pancakes
French toast heaven!! The coffee is okay but the french toast is super duper good! Although if you are not a sweet tooth like me, you might find it a little bit too sweet.
White Mojo is an iconic brunch destination in the heart of the CBD. Firstly, the decor is lovely, so light and bright and nicely decorated - very Instagrammable!
I had the hardest time deciding what to order as I wanted to try everything. We ordered the Foie Gras & Pork Croquette and the Double Cheese Chilli Scrambled Egg. The latter is an award winning dish for very good reason! It honestly was like eating a cheeseburger but better (was served on a black brioche) and breakfast style. Such an innovative dish, and I'm not usually the biggest fan of cheese but loved it with this. The croquettes were great too - loved the flavours.
Would definitely recommend it as a must do brunch in Melbourne if only here for a short time!
I have heard SO much hype about White Mojo for the longest time and now I finally understand why. Their contemporary set up in Hardware Street makes this place super on-trend as well as a hotspot amongst tourists and locals alike.
We ordered the Flamingo Waffles which had THE MOST flawless presentation and so tasty too. There were so many adorable, yummy components such as the upside down ice cream cone and the red velvet macaron took this dish to the next level. We also got the Signature Croissant Burger - the croissant texture was the most perfect buttery, flaky texture and the soft shell crab and smoked eel on the inside made this meal a total show-stopper!
The waitress was so lovely and went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing time.
So impressed that both meals were not only visual masterpieces, but tasted just as phenomenal!
We only decided to come because we couldn’t get a seat at a nearby cafe (and they didn’t have kid suitable chair) so we wandered over. It was a good choice. I make a point of not going to a place that has a tout and this place didn't need one. We were quickly shown a table (they were full, we got the last one) and water served, followed by drink orders being taken. The waiters were quite friendly and attentive; they seemed to have a lot of them for the number of covers.
We thought we would try the normal coffees first and given they call themselves a coffee roaster they were excellent. Just the right temperature. The food soon came (as we had a grumpy child was hungry) - at least two of them anyway. The presentation was impeccable, and as you can see when the smoky salmon came it came with some theatrics! I think it was understandable the salmon came later as it must have been freshly hot smoked. They probably would have served it together if we didn't ask for something to come quickly. The taste of all the dishes were excellent (although the croissant was a bit of funny shape compared to, say, Lune). Looking at the other tables I was hoping we could still eat more.
After the food came we thought we would try their signature drinks - the matcha latte and the sesame soy latte. At $7 dollars the sesame soy latte was excellent but a bit expensive. Still it was a novelty (and I suspect why they can charge that much; skip it if you're on a budget). The rest of the dishes were really good value especially given the presentation.
This place is a good choice, their line isn't quite as long and you could actually sit at a table. The toilet instructions really made my day...
Delicious and beautiful food! Definitely a pleasant meal. I loved their pancakes!
I have been here a number of times throughout the last couple of years and have tried nearly everything on the menu. I've always been more than happy with the quality of the food service. My go to brunch place for a lazy Sunday!
We had visited White Mojo for lunch during the weekend and it was a great experience! We had the flamingo waffles, mojo pancakes, confit salmon and salmon benedict which were all spot on and made us really happy! All of them were special in their own way!
The flamingo waffles was my favorite sweet dish of the day as it was crispy and easy to cut through and the elements (sweet and sour) complemented each other really well!
The confit salmon was my favorite savory dish as it was cooked to perfection and you could taste the juiciness of it! I am also a sucker for baby carrots which I find are rarely used in most cafe dishes!
Would definitely visit again to try the rest of their menu!
The food here wad absolutely amazing! From the presentation to the taste I absolutely cannot daily it!
If you are after a sweet treat a trip to try and see these waffles is well worth it 😍
Staff were extremely friendly and the cafe was clean and inviting.
Looking forward to checking out another location to try another menu item! It was so hard to pick and so many looked delish!
The signature croissant burger is omfg amazing. You get a whole soft shell crab that is fried to a crispy perfection, the croissant is crispy, butter and flakey, the smoked eel and pickles adds the bite and the fried egg adds that runny egg goodness. It's bloody delicious!
The coffees was good too, the cold drip was smooth and complex.
Taking off one star because they didn't have baby chairs available, making it not children friendly.
Overall a great place with great staff and good
Food and latte was fantastic! Definitely would recommend but the only downside was the long waiting time. We had to wait about 20+mins to sit down then another 30mins for our food so if you have time, it’s definitely worth it!
One word, WOW!
We won a completion at White Mojo for a breakfast for 2 and wow, we loved every second of it! After seeing and heading so much about this cafe, we were so excited to come in and try some of their crowd pleasers like the Flamingo Waffles and the Lemon Meringue Pancakes!
Presentation was amazing- 10/10
Service was fast and very friendly- 10/10
Food was amazing and so tasty and creative- 10/10
It’s based in such a cool part of Melbourne, Hardware lane. And the atmosphere of the cafe was so exciting and progressive! We can’t wait to go back, thank you White Mojo for an amazing breakfast!
Super friendly staffs and amazing quality + on point food presentations.
Loved the vegan option - was super generous with the hummus, which tasted perfectly with the toasted hazelnuts. A must try!
The signature double cheese scrambled eggs were amazing.
the French toast had amazing presentation, and add-ons, but the actual toast was dry and tasteless.

RATING 4.5
One of the coolest brunches in Melbourne CBD you won't find your run of the mill avo smash here! Tucked away in Hardware lane, White Mojo is a bright welcoming space where the white walls are adorned with artwork hand painted in coffee. They roast their own beans onsite and serve up a creative, sensational breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The coffee is award winning and excellent.
The dishes all have the White Mojo creative flare and presented like works of art. The ingredients are all fresh and of good quality, and everything we've tried has been fabulous.
We added the Nitrogen Rose to our pancakes - a long stemmed red rose dipped in Nitrogen and dangled over your meal. Smashing the rose between your hands gives an impressive level of drama to your meal and is only available for a limited time.
White Mojo is a must do for your Brunching bucket list.
Thanks for having us guys, looking forward to coming back soon.
My Rating: 4.5
It's been a while since I visited White Mojo and as I had visitors from Sydney, I thought it would be the best opportunity to take them here for a lovely weekend brunch as I know this cafe has maintained its standard in serving quality food hence why there is always a queue outside.
🔆LOCATION🔆
White Mojo is situated on Hardware Street a short hidden laneway between Lonsdale Street and Little Lonsdale Street (closer to Elizebeth street).
The Cafe is of a very decent size and very simple decor, it all white so its bright inside even when outside is miserable dark winter weather.
🔆SERVICE🔆
The waitress are very friendly and service is very fast and efficient. We were still waiting for 1 friend but one of the staff thought to ask if we wanted any more drinks while waiting.
Our meals came out very promptly which we were surprised seeing that the whole cafe was at 90% capacity.
🔆MENU/PRICE🔆
We were a table of 4 and ordered the following items:
French Toast, $19.50
( Walnut crumble with caramel pearl, apricot gel, chai tea cream, charcoal meringue, fresh fruits, lavender yoghurt, passionfruit gelato)
Double Cheese Chilli Scrambled Egg, $22.50
(Parmesan & cheddar, thick cut belly bacon, chipotle mayo and toasted sweet corn on black brioche)
Crushed Green, $19.50
(Avocado and green pea mash, avocado tahini puree, mixed seeds nuts, cherry tomato, feta and poached egg on toast)
Fois Gras & Pork Croquette, $23.50
(Roasted seasonal veggies, quinoa & lentil with lemon vinaigrette, poached eggs, bacon snow, garlic aioli, smoked beetroot puree)
House made hot chocolate, $4.00
Latte, $3.50
Black Latte with bonsoy, $7.00 (peanuts, almond and black sesame)
🔆VERDICT🔆
Absolutely delicious. My Sydney friends were very impressed and were very satisfied with their meals.
The Double cheese chilli scrambled eggs was absolutely a smash hit. The black brioche bun was light yet crunchy at the edges. The eggs had a good kick of chilli and the bacon and sweet corn gave the overall meal its salty and sweet element! A winner!
I ordered the French Toast - yes I know I was very naughty to have something sweet for brunch! However, I have had it before and really enjoyed it. The apricot gel is encassed in white visually looks like an egg which is very creative and fun! I love the lavendar yoghurt and the passionfruit gelato its so light and refreshing when mixed with the walnut crumble and caramel! Yum!
The avocado and green pea mash with the taihini avocado puree is a great mix and healthy option seeing my friend is on a healthy diet lately. The cherry tomato and feta complemented well.
Fois Gras and Pork Croquette was battered and cooked perfectly. The vegetables and lemon vinagrette gave it a good zing and lightness along with the smoked betroot puree had a really nice taste when smeared with the croquette. Again another stand out dish!
I can appreciate a brunch menu that has a great variety in selection for those who don’t just want eggs and avocado. I loved the interior inside the CBD site. Super vibrant, clean and inviting. We ordered the mushroom croquettes and pork belly benedict which was available on the menu at the time. The food was well presented, decent portion size and also tasted great! Good coffee, good food, great atmosphere. The only down side is that on weekends there is a bit of a wait time and it is on the pricy side.

Been here so many times and never disappointed. The are always very creative with the presentation of the dishes. You can't go wrong with their chilli cheese scrambled eggs burger. They also just recently introduce nitrogen rose, which you get to smash it onto your plate. Doesn't really add any taste to your dish but definitely add a wow factor to your meal.
