Review San Antone By Bludso's Bbq - Melbourne

Service was a bit lacking. They had the self-serve menu on the table but their website was very slow and it was quite difficult to wave down the staff to grab a physical menu and order. Food-wise, it has decent flavour and big portions. I would definitely recommend their buffalo wings and mac & cheese. I think the smoked meats were okay but I was expecting a more flavourful experience and more sauce for the amount of meat on the plate. Overall, was a fun night with the live band on a Friday. I recommend this place with big groups, although make sure to book in advance. ⭐️

It's been a few years since I have been here (covid and lockdown) and it didn't disappoint us. Service was outstanding, very friendly. The food was mouth watering and cooked to perfection, the pie was flakey and golden. I don't like overly smoked products but they do it to perfection. Didn't take long for the meal to arrive.

It was my B'day Dinner and honestly, didn't really enjoy it. The vibe is nice and the staff is helpful too but the dish what we ordered was not good at all. It was really hard and chewy and the burger tasted a little odd too. The chicken on top of the chips were hard to chew as well. The portion is really huge though. 3 stars are for the vibe, staff and beer.

We walked in and got on waiting list on Saturday night before movie. We received a text saying our table was ready after around 10-15 mins of walking around to find another restaurant. We were told that it may take 30 mins to get a table so we were pleased to have a chance to try this restaurant. Food came out pretty quickly and it was okay. I wouldn't say it's a wow but it was cooked quite average even though our sausage were a bit cold but we ate it anyway as we were in a rush and hungry. Staff who waited our table was very nice. He asked how was the food and we were honest about it. He offered to pass on feedback to a manager. Then, he got us a complimentary dessert which was unexpected as we didn't complain to get anything. It was nice of him. Brisket was good, some part was a little dry but not bad at all. Pork ribs were a bit too fatty and would have liked some more meat on there. Sausage was cold but taste ok. Good fries and nice dessert.

Great joint for a sample of American food. Service was great, food was good and prices as expected for the location. It is interesting that their drink sponsor is Johnny Walker which is Scottish though.

A good place to eat bbq pork or beef with a reasonable price for a restaurant inside the Crown casino. Ordered the pork ribs, beef ribs, loaded fries, onion rings, and broccolini. The full slab pork ribs tasted delicious but kinda small for a full slab pork. The half slab beef ribs were quite big surprisingly however it's rather dry on the inside but quite flavorful on the outside. The sauces provided were great. My favorite was the jack daniels bbq sauce that came with the beef ribs. The sauces however were quite little and you have to pay extra for more sauces. The loaded fries, onion rings, and broccolini were great but nothing surprising for this kind of restaurant. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and on the ball when we requested for anything. Another complain is that the glasses and the plates provided were not very clean. We had to clean it ourselves. Other than that, the dining experience was quite pleasant. Hence the 4 stars

7pm on a Saturday night with no booking was a 45minute wait, understandable and easy to kill time in Crown. The doorman took our info and we got a text message when our table was ready. The food was incredibly delightful - I recommend the two meat tray with two sides approx $33 - worth every dollar and arrived quickly. Kids meal was easy and my daughter loved the coke float. Again all very reasonably priced. However, the five stars is really for the staff and service. I ended up tipping because good service is always hard to come by. A colouring book for my seven year old made it all even easier. Did I mention the food was awesome? If the smell of smokin' meat doesn't take you here I hope this review does. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

affordable prices, what's more in the crown casino area, the price for the restaurant is very cheap, 100$ you can have 2 heavy menus and 1 appetizer menu, and 2 drinks. it's cheap but not cheap food. You will be happy with the food you ordered. the food is very good, the place is clean and comfortable. make sure you book a table a few days in advance, because they are always busy
