I'm devastated that I can't rate this place more than 5 stars I had Breakfast and the Crux and Co this morning and honestly , to summarize it in one word . . . WOW! It's not just sitting down to eat a meal it's an entire experience of all senses. I was tossing up between the porridge and the Banana and Date Cake , I decided to order the cake and I was taken by pleasant surprise. It wasn't just any regular breakfast cake it had generous lashings of coffee caramel Mousse , rich Caramel sauce , chocolate soil and the most delicious peanut crackle. Good coffee , amazing Chai and fantastic service. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you Crux and Co , you made my Thursday that little bit more special Will be returning!

Visited The Crux & Co on a Sunday morning, there was luckily no line so we were seated immediately even though the restaurant was busy. Service was attentive and prompt, and we really liked the location.Menu was a good mix of traditional brunch dishes and different flavours, I liked how they offered petite cakes and well as high tea options, and would love to order that next time. We ordered the Chilli Scramble and Hot Cakes (which was a special), the Scramble could have definitely used more flavour, however it was still a great dish. The Hot Cakes were cooked to perfection and were light and fluffy.I think the menu displayed on Zomato (as of 19/02/2020) is outdated as we saw a different menu. Would reccomend The Crux & Co to others and would revisit to experience their high tea menu.

Very popular on weekends.

Good coffee, can take a while to come out when busy.

Mushroom burger, $19, was tasty and satisfying. Good sweet potato chips accompanying it.

Granola, $15, is plated very lovely.

Good range of baked goods available.

We had our Christmas function here and it was sensational. About 12 variety of food was served all prepared to 5 star standards .

The owner Kevin and staff were accommodating and amazing to deal with. Back here a few times for breakfast and it was consistently 5/5 .

How have I not heard of this place earlier? The Crux & Co does everything right.

The decor is so bright, lovely and modern. The team is very professional, it's clear they work hard (our food came out quickly) and are super friendly.

I ordered the Wagyu Beef Katsu Burger which was incredible. The beef was so tasty, and love the idea of beef katsu in a burger as it's usually chicken. The bun was such a beautiful colour because of the beetroot and was my preferred type of bread for burgers too.

They also happily swapped the onion rings for sweet potato fries at my request. My partner had the special Chicken & Waffles which he enjoyed but preferred my burger. The waffles just weren't as impressive as a dish but still tasty.

To be honest, I was super gutted that I was too full to try a dessert - they look so good! But I know I'll be back next time I'm craving cakes.

We did grab an almond crossiant for later which was tasty yet very flaky.

Great work Crux & Co!

Definitely one of my top 3 brunch places!!! This place is located where parking won't be a problem. It's always jam-packed with people! And there's a reason for this, the food is gooooood.

We had the poke bowl and vegetarian breakfast. The poke bowl was out of this world, everything is so fresh, and everything tastes so good together. The veg breakfast was mediocore but I really enjoyed that as well! After the mains, we had some desserts. The white one was pistachio cheesecake (with raspberry jam and yuzu filling) and also, black sesame mousse. Both are super deliciousssssss!

I'd def come back for the second third and fourth visit! Not to forget, they have really good service too

Best Matcha bun ever!!! Different taste than any other burger with mushroom patty & their miso salmon dish was amazing! The miso sink into the salmon wonderfully well!

Points for: a well executed and stylish cafe

* Hearty Porridge – the apple compote and coulis balanced the milky & creamy oats. Feels like more of a dessert.
• Buckwheat corn fritter – quite a thick fritter and heavily fried, the poached eggs were oozy and the pickled cauliflower cut through the heaviness.
The strong latte is quite decent with good strength and balance between bitterness and milk.

The café is open and bright with a clean design – it all makes for a comfortable experience.
