Aesthetic sushi eatery

Located on the 2nd floor of Emporium, they have 2 sections. The sushi section is bright and aesthetic, while the BBQ section is bit dim and chill, though I'll be talking about the sushi section. I usually sit in the big table because it get bit crampy when it's at the side of the bar. The service has always been pleasant, the staffs were professional and accommodating while food comes out reasonably quick.

I think most of their sushi is reasonably sized and pretty fresh, though i do wish when i order from the tablet i am served freshly made sushi instead of those picked up from the train because i can do that myself too. My fave has to be their hoke roll!! It's a salmon x scallop sushi hehe

Overall for $3.9 per plate, its a great spot for a good sushi fix.

Tetsujin was a Japanese, sushi train-style restaurant serving a rather extensive variety of sushi and BBQ hot dishes. I’d been here a few times and each time my dining experience was always pleasant. Service was friendly, the food was always freshly made and flavoursome (desserts were especially so!), and the restaurant was always bright and clean. The lines to dine in were always long during lunch/dinner peak hours so best to come in a bit earlier.

😱Lizzie’s first impression: good vibes and space for big groups, selection of jap bbq or sushi train and really nice staff.

🍩Lizzie enjoyed: I really enjoy the quality of the meats from the jap bbq section. It’s marinated and seasoned very well and the portion size is not too small. They have a lot of good set menus that you can select from which saves time from choosing your own.

🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: I’ve also tried the sushi train side and I must admit I’m not the biggest fan of their selection. Although the prices are very moderate and the location is nice and convenient to get to.

🥇Lizzie rates overall: A great concept with great space and interior. The selection of foods is of great quality and I love coming back here time and time again!

Awesome atmosphere and fit out. Staff were really friendly and prompt. Ordered different cuts of the +9 marble wagyu, and the quality was excellent. Also had various nigiri from the sushi train! Best of both worlds.

the wagyu is very well marbled and taste fresh. same with sashimi as well. However it would be better if the waitress can stop taking away our food or cutleries while my friend was still eating. happened twice like that already

One of the best sushi train restaurants visited. Despite slightly long table waiting time, the sushi was delicious especially the tempura prawn nigiri and tamago nigiri. There is a great ordering system allowing for an independently paced feed and the choice to order more :)) 🍣🍤

Went for the first time and it has already became my favourite sushi train place. Quick & lovely service and fresh & nicely decorated food. Great atmosphere and setting. I loved the natural brightness and the exterior of the place, it didn’t feel claustrophobic at all.

Like a cat is naturally attracted to running water and a dog has an innate urge to chase fleeing objects, I too have an urge to have sushi move horizontally past me at a modest pace, finally free from its stationary prison. Tetsujin is a lovely experience with excellent service. Dessert spring rolls were an unexpected treat! All at a good price!

Tetsujin was a great option for a light dinner. At the top of emporium, it’s a funky space with great service and delicious Japanese cuisine. The chicken karaage was particularly good. Friendly service and plenty of options to self serve from the sushi train or to order via the tablet

One of the better Sushi Train in Victoria that is worth my time to write about and I usually go once a week, so I've been to a lot of them. Good variety and also some interesting dishes that you won't find in another sushi train. However, you are warned, that you must be patient in terms of queuing up as well as waiting for the interesting dishes to turn up. Price wise, it is more than others too, but the quality justifies it.

Nice experience. Good food. Excellent sushi. We shared the pork belly set and some of the wagyu cuts. However I was a bit taken aback when I tried to order okonomiyaki from the table, the waiter said they didn't serve that here. (But they do because my friend who recommended this place had ordered that twice the last time they went here.) Other than that, nice atmosphere and food.

Chill vibes, great place to drop by with friends. Sushi was fresh however the plates have relatively small servings. Variety was somewhat limited compared to other sushi train restaurants.
