Review At Ease - Easy Thai - Melbourne

Jamie Potisomporn
Ordered the sukhothai noodle, tasted quite authentic, would probably have it again if needed my Thai noodle fix. But would have been nice if the beans were cut shorter like they do in Thailand. But it didn't affect the taste. Also had the banana fritter, which was good, even though the bananas were a little small. It came with a large quantity of ice cream too which was nice

I loved the ambience, the aroma of the place.. Made me instant calm, mindful and thoughtful of me, myself and my actions. Enjoyed the yummy food and green tea.. Thanks for setting up such a place in the middle of the bustling city.. Wishing you a prosperous year ahead, Easy Thai Team..šŸ™

A great place to grab lunch. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. We had a number of starters and the papaya salad that were all spot on, we also tried the mango and sticky rice which was delicious. The menu has a good range of dishes and drinks.

Great. I went there during non peak hours, around 330pm Sunday. Only me in the restaurant! I had beef pad Thai, choo chee soft shell crab and whole steamed lemon fish (total came to $71.70). Dishes were decent in terms of price and food amount. None of the dishes were Thai spicy but had the key thai flavours. They do have the condiments tray so you can adjust the dish to your liking in terms of sweetness, spice and tart level. Staff were polite and service was prompt. Note they charge a fee for using credit card if you wish to pay using this form of payment.

Quiet place. Staff very courteous. We had our first order in 11 minutes, as we had a show to attend. Excellent value for money. Our green veg n tofu curry, red prawn curry and fried rice was good and generous serving.

started off with a omelette with prawn that was nice and crispy but it honestly canā€™t justify the price. pork skewers were really good and juicy and i would definitely recommend. got the pad thai too and it was really flavourful and pretty decent. ordered the chilli basil pork and some sticky rice to have with it and i wouldnā€™t order either again. vegetables in the chilli basil dish was inedible and the sticky rice was okay but screamed no effort, it just came in a bag inside a bamboo basket. also they donā€™t have mango sticky rice gurl what. they have durian sticky rice tho šŸ‘‰šŸ‘ˆ

Never disappoints! Have been here so many times and everything ordered is always delicious. Food comes out fairly quick which is perfect if you are in a rush. For more: IG: MelbourneFoodTravel

Food and the restaurant decor was nice but the whole experience was a bit random otherwise, we ordered three different chicken stir fry dishes but the waiters were unclear which was which. I expected more from the dishes given it is a Thai restaurant, they were each pretty simple

Thank you to all the staff at At ease - easy thai. The food was so delicious and a friendly atmosphere. the service was wonderful as well. I will be recommending this to all my friends as the place to go if you want to eat Aroi Mak Mak Thai food in the city.

My 3rd visit to Melbourne and it is a must for me to eat at easy thai. Flavours are awesome. Portions are fair. Slightly pricy but worth it. Love the milk tea. Love the people. Keep up the great work!!
Kerri Robb
Very yummy Thai cuisine. My friends and I shared spring rolls, chicken ribs, red chicken curry, pad thai and roti bread and all of it was delicious! We will be back.
Joel Christie
Delicious fried rice and the lemon ice tea was refreshing. Iā€™d definitely come back again! ļæ½

I love Sukhothai noodle and Thai milk tea and this place all staff very friendly.
Naiyana Kokkinos
Need to improve for Authentic Thai food but the staffs served very good. The day that we came was too loud so it was noisy for customers!
Bella Boonumchoo
Itā€™s my first time visit. The taste of food is good. Staff is so nice and friendly. Such a great experience.

He remembered the brand of the green tea two weeks after l asked. Awesome service and amazing food.
Marwin Lasuardi
Good food. Great staff, fair price! Love it! And surely will come back for more!

If "authentic" means still alive and twitching cockroaches included in your meal then what a disgrace to Thai food.
Bec Cassar
Oh wow! Awesome Service, Delicious Food, Beautiful Decore. The best Thai food in melbourne. Totally delightful experience

Will definitely be coming back! Amazing food and great service ļæ½

The prawn salad was delicious with the right level of spicy and sour, if the hot & sour noodles soup can be like this, I would have rated 5 stars. I hardly taste any sourness in the soup though. Next time I may ask if they can adjust for me.
The downside is the crispy pork belly, they were too much fat which tasted kinda greasy and I couldnā€™t finish them. Probably wont order this one next time.

Friendly and helpful staffs. Definitely will come back.

This is definitely the go to place for Thai people in the city. I love coming to this establishment. I enjoy eating my favourite Thai dishes.

We always ordered green papaya salad take away from this place. Today is real disappointed!

We did phone call order today 2x green papaya salad with salted crab and fish (one of them extra spicy) in Thai! Our friend picked up for us. When we got food turned out itā€™s no salted fish flavour inside at all. We called to double confirm and staff said they have been putting all salted crab and fish. And somehow they might ran out of papaya so one of them full of lettuce. Taste wasnā€™t good at all. Seems like something wrong with their staff or maybe they canā€™t be bothered cooking nice food for Thai people.

Truely disappointed!

Prior booking was made for for a team Xmas lunch. When we arrived, we were seated upstairs where it was pretty private. Everything was pretty good until we placed our orders. Ordered the tofu and shoot rice. He service was really slow and it took them 40 minutes to make my order. Some of friends ordered the special fried rice and they waited for an hour for the order to arrive. Asked the waitress what caused the delay, she said theyā€™re understaff and thereā€™s only 1 cook in the kitchen. As a first timer, it was definitely not a good experience.
Jennifer Truong
Waited over 45minutes for food without apologies from staff. Would not recommend coming in your lunch break if you have time restraints.

Had the wonton pad thai; very salty.
Renegade
Another great little laid back Thai restaurant that has plenty on offer from your standard favourites to something a little different. We tried 8 dishes and desert and all of them were delicious with generous portion sizes and at a very reasonable price. The restaurant is also family friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend for a low key dinner.
StepiiGM
Great service and the food came to our table considerably quick. I would say they tasted pretty average, predominantly sweet and sour, but extra point for bringing me 3 types of chili when I requested for something spicy!
Flying Forward
The acoustics in the restaurant is pretty bad, as it gets loud even without music.
*Deep fried pork (moo tod ka tiam) - battered in a crispy light batter, the tamarind sauce was nice and sweet/sour providing a much needed flavour boost.Ā
*Fish cake - nicely springy and with herbs, the fish cake went well with the cucumber vinegar sauce.

*Beef salad - I imagined this to be a waterfall beef salad (nam tok), but the beef used was more suited to stir frys. There weren't too many herbs to offset the beef and salad. The sauce was zingy and had a big kick of chilli - for those who aren't used to the fire, be warned.

*Grilled chicken - not sure how it was grilled, but the edges were quite air dry. Like it had been grilled earlier and left in a bain-marie to keep warm.

*Tamarind fish - very crispy from the batter and very fresh out the fryer, it was nice and piping hot inside. Served with the same tamarind sauce as the deep fried pork.

*Red duck curry - very creamy with loads of coconut cream, a few slices of tender duck breast and lychees to offset. A little on the sweet side and not very spicy.

*Pad Thai - very sweet pad thai and no smokey wok hei flavour. The noodles were a bit overdone as they were glaggy and very soft.

Prices are relatively decent, but also reflects the quality of food.

We had a great time at dinner for 15 people there! The manager was so useful with helping us with the menu and the staffs were so friendly. The food were authentic and so flavorful, the tatse was so close to that in Thai. We had grilled chicken, marinated pork, grilled fish and banana icecream (and more!). Will definitely come back again!

The place was quite nice, wasn't spacious but not crampy. Staffs were friendly and our food came out quite fastĀ

Chicken Pad Thai was yummy. Flavorful but not overly so, chicken was tender and noodles cooked perfectly along with some veggies. It's just a bit small in portion.

Prawn tom yum soup (entree) has all the right flavors, sweet sour and spicy on point. Prawn was good size and juicy.

Fried basa fillets with tamarind sauce was decent. Portion was great, fish was nicely fried and i like the batter. Not very juicy but not dry either and meaty. I didn't really enjoy the sauce however, as i find them only sour and lacking sweet.

Overall though a pretty good thai eats in the city.

( follow for more!āœØ)

ļ½˜ļ½˜ļ¼Œļ½Šļ½ļ½…ļ½Œļ½Œļ½….
Gee
Thai food with the curries suited to western tastes! I love me a creamy green curry and thatā€™s exactly what this place does! Deliciously creamy curry with the coconut rice. The satay skewers and fish cakes were more traditional than the main, and the lady running the place was lovely. Definitely be back.
Mark Van Der Linden
Amazing food and friendly service. Tried a good selection of food with my family of 5 across the menus from entree to main it was all 110% tasty!
Claire Lee
Highly recommend this restaurant. I always order takeaway. The staff packed the food properly, so the soup never leak into the plastic bag. I love their @ ease fish, it was still very crispy and not oily after the food delivered to my home. Druken noodles is very delicious, they generously stir fried the noodles with many veggies.
JJ
My favourite Thai place in the city! Itā€™s a bit of a hidden gem, in that, itā€™s not super busy and you can always get a seat but the flavours are great and the prices are decent. The staff are always really nice too.
OrbSpider66
@t Ease provides high level meals and excellent service every time I walk through the door. The flavours of the food have always been amazing and portion size is great. I recommend the Massaman Beef curry and the Panang Pork.

FOOD TRIP
@Ease Thai is a great little Thai restaurant on Lonsdale Street. It has all the usual Thai dishes as well as a few new options. Great flavour and very satisfying. Would recommend!. Thai Iced Milk Tea $4.50. Delicious and sweet enough without the extra condensed milk ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…. Thai Iced Coffee $4.50

Came in for a quick vote to eat and ended up in massaman curry heaven. At 9pm on Good Friday Eve, I came across this place nestled amongst many other restaurants. With the menu in the window and the inside nicely busy with diners I took a chance. So glad I did.
I ordered the massaman curry, with roti that came with a small bowl of peanut sauce plus rice. Water to wash it all down.
Service was fast and my order taken in minutes. Meal took no more than ten minutes to be in front of me. The flavour was delicious and fresh with plenty of beef. Coconut sauce has a lovely texture.
Served in a cute red saucepan that had plenty of sauce to dip my roti into the sauce.
Takeaway available. Dietaries catered for. Delivery also available through the usual channels.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/stroller accessible. Parking - well itā€™s Melbourne so good luck.
Highly recommend.

I really loved the green curry and tom yum, the young papaya salads were also very nice and refreshing. The interior is cute with pastel wooden chairs and little decorations on the walls

Great food, great staff, great decor and ambience! Great array of vegetarian dishes and authentic thai flavours. Portions are also very generous. Most dishes have the option of being served with rice or as a main for sharing which is great for groups.

The dishes were alright! Service is nice šŸ‘šŸ» I came here with my friend after watching Shazam! Hahah.

I really do like Thai curry but they donā€™t have vegan version so I was a bit disappointed. Instead I had pad Thai with veggies and tofu. Asked for extra soy sauce for flavour. My friend had chicken šŸ— noodles and we shared the veggie and tofu stir fries.

3.5/5 actually but this system donā€™t have point 5 for me to rate. Anyway hope they can have more vegan dishes.

Came here with my cousin and my friend with not to hungry stomach, hungry and ok stomach and left with really full stomach.

Portion wise is ok. Price average. Taste is good! :)
Love the prawn tom kha!

So we had
- chicken ribs
- crispy tofu
- prawn tom kha
- t-ease fish
- son-in-law :The egg.. just okay. But the sauce is the star!

Spend around $28/pp
LiamzlEats
Very flavoursome dishes and quite affordable. I ordered the duck curry which had a large amount of meat on it but was the perfect balance of spice. The roti and satay chicken were both great entrees also. Came here with a large group and after splitting ended up being $18pp for a great feed! As I work across the road from this restaurant I can confidently say I will be returning soon, hungry for more.

Came on weekend had the weekend specials $8 noodles. Had the guay-jub and tomyum noodles and were really satisfied. Portion were little small but did not bother us.

Lots of thai people eating as well seems like an authentic place. Taste is similar to dodee paidang.
Linda
Nice easy Thai, cheap and quick service
Pad Thai lacked a bit of flavour though
The sticky rice with mango was great - best mango Iā€™ve ever had!! Good level of salt in the rice to offset the sweetness of he coconut milk and mango
Alessandra
Went for dinner last night with my partner. The place is ok nothing special. By reading the reviews we thought the place was better. The place and the food is ok, i missed the sparkle. A couple a dishes and drinks were sold out so we had to change our order.
Some Bunee Loves Food
Stumbled across this restaurant and thought I'd give it a try as I was craving for Thai for dinner. Got the Pork Hok without really knowing what it is. But wow what a surprise, the pork was so tender and the sauce was so nice!! It was a fluke ordering this dish that I've never tried before and it was so nice!
Denise Lim
Asked the staff a few questions about certain menu items and they were somewhat confused and didnā€™t know answers to simple questions.. However, food came reasonable fast and they were friendly, so all is good. Food was great - had the hot and sour noodles, packed a punch!! Definitely recommend! Also had the garlic chive dumplings w/ some sweet sauce (on specials), which were surprisingly good. Will revisit again sometime

a very cute corner of melbourne with scumptious noodles. staff are so very friendly and kind. I ordered the 'Drunken' noodles, mild- i can handle my spice, but this really brought the heat. Very very tasty nonetheless, visit here often with friends because it has such as gorgeous atmosphere and vibe with delicious food! on another occasion i ordered the chicken pad thai, of course it was yumalicious, chicken was cooked to perfection, flavours burst on my tongue and the portions are quite filling.

Rating: 3.5 - 4
Food:Ā
- Sukhothai noodles: sour and spicy goodness in one bowl. You can choose different type of noodle to go with it which is great. The pork rib (includes cartilage) was so tender. The BBQ pork was good as well but I prefer the pork rib (personal taste). I didn't enjoy the chicken meatball as much but then I don't have chicken meatball that often because the flavour is so mild, it's not something I'd deliberately go for so probably that's why I didn't like it.
- Nam Ngeow: my friend had this and said it was really good as well. The noodles were served on the side and the broth looked really rich and spicy.Ā
- Thai milk tea: I was a little hesitated with all the ice that came with it but after I tried it I understand why. The milk tea was really rich, creamy and sweet so the ice was a necessary component to balance the taste.Ā

Price: average price, the yummy food made it totally worthy.Ā

Service: lovely staff, friend, smiley. The food didn't take long to come.Ā

Ambience: casual vibe. I think they have another room upstairs but I didn't know so I sat on the ground floor which was fine.

Visited this place for a weekday lunch with a friend. The venue has a very warm and welcoming vibe, and the staff are very friendly. We got the Pad Se-Ew (prawn), and the Cashew Nut Stir-Fry (chicken, on rice). The Pad Se-Ew was delicious, it was flavourful and also a very clean dish. But they couldnā€™t been a bit more generous with the prawns as I think there were only four. The Cashew Nut Chicken Stir-Fry was pretty decent, the chilli jam was very nice.

Overall, itā€™s a nice place to come if youā€™re craving simple Thai food, or if youā€™re just looking for a quick and affordable meal in the area.
Brian M
Decent, can't complain, but nothing to write home about. You pay for the convenience, but still affordable. A good place for dinner before a night out, not a place you would spend too much time in.
Meaghan Hį»“
I love love love the Sukhothai noodle, impossible to find another place which nailed this dish like these guys did. Went here for lunch 2 straight days out of 4 uni days and no regret !!
Max-A-Million
Really tasty Thai food! Can really recommend the curries.
However, there are some issues with the service and the venue. The venue has little to no heating. Especially in winter it gets really cold and uncomfortable. People actually their jackets! Also the service and the food is pretty slow. We came to this venue about 3 or 4 times for lunch, and even if there was only one other table, the service took their time to take our order and the food took a good 20min to come out. Lastly, they made a huge fuss about us paying separately by card. We were a group of 6 work colleagues and of course wanted to split bills. Not in this restaurant, even after lengthy discussions.
Filicia Linarta
Ordered the pad thai chicken and crispy pork stir fry. The crispy pork came with 5 pieces of pork and not even crispy. Pad thai is ok but the chicken piece is as big as my palm! Overally so so experience...
Don Djoe
Very good food and drink. We came here in a group so we had the chance of having a few different dishes and we are pleased with most of them. For me personally the red duck was the highlight of the night. The duck itself was just okay but the curry sauce was magnificent. It also had lychees in it. A bit unusual but wow it was a very well done dish. We also had beef salad and basa fillet fried with garlic. These two dishes deserves a thumbs up. We had another pork curry with peanut, I can't remember the name but it had strong herb taste and while I felt a bit hesitant at first, it was pretty yummy. The rest of the dishes, pad thai and pork skewers were not too bad, but it left less impression than the others. We also had Thai milk tea for the drink. It was both nice and uniquely served. As for the dessert I enjoyed the potato dumplings more than the banana spring rolls with ice cream. The dumplings were soft and the soup was sweet. It was warm as well, perfect for a cold night.
Eating Away Melbourne
Have been tho this little thai place for a few times. Its located on the busy lonsdale street so whenever you are tired from shopping in the CBD you can pay them a visit. Had the chicken wings, pad thai with prawns, tom yum fried rice and a side of roti bread this time. Love the pad thai and the roti bread! Fair price as well!
Josephine Mitchell
My parents sister and I went here for my mums birthday. We had spring rolls, coconut rice, crispy pork stir fry, massaman beef and pad Thai. The food was all really fresh and flavourful with our favourite dishes being the stir fry pork and massaman curry. In particular the broccoli in the pork dish was exceptional. The atmosphere was buzzing as you would expect on a Saturday night. The staff were friendly and were able to seat us immediately and efficiently take our order.
Leila
Nice place, friendly staff. I asked for very spicy drunken noodles, and boy did they deliver. Loved every bit of it (even through the sweat and tears).
Zinko
Great pricing and decent servings, was hella fulfilling and the ambiance of the place was cozy and warm. Service was quick, nice and felt welcomed. Loved my pad see ew noodles and wish I could've tried the curry! So I'll be surely coming back next time!

A Thai resto offering cozy ambience and excellent Thai food. We have tried the @t ease fish, red curry beef, pad thai, and tom yum soup. I highly recommend the fish! Itā€™s so delicious, the fried fish combined with a mixture of sweet and sour sauce. Tom yum soup also great! I normally dislike Tom Yum Soup due to its strong sour taste. But Tom Yum Soup in here is not too sour yet still rich in flavor. I will definitely come back to @t ease.
Lianne
3.5 for the food overall 4 (food, service, atmosphere).

Came to know about this place from a friend and finally have the chance to try. We had

Grilled Chicken with rice: Well marinated and good flavour. Unfortunately the chicken is a bit too dry for my liking however I acknowledged that some countries like their chicken meat dry instead of succulent.

Bangkok Street : Comes the the same grilled chicken as above. Love the papaya salad (som tum). The chilli, sweetness and sourness, saltiness is well balance.

Siamese chicken rice: was pleasantly surprise with how flavourful the rice was. I am a fan of chicken rice and will order chicken whenever itā€™s on menu. Order this without expectation and this one is good. I had it with crispy chicken and it was just ok. Will try steam chicken next time.

Service wise very thoughtful and good. However there was one wait staff who was busy plaiting her hair and try to serve food at the same time. Maybe she should get her hair done before starting her shift or do it in the washroom instead of walking around serving food while holding her hair with another hand. The last thing I want is to see hair in my food. Sorry. Not trying to be nasty.

I love the warm atmosphere and deco in this place.

I will return to try others on the menu.

Another place where you can find authentic Thai dish ! We came on a Monday night, it was busy but not crazy busy. The service was lovely. We had Khao Soi, Chinese broccoli and crispy pork stir fried on rice and Mhoo ping (pork skewers)

They all were very authentic and delicious! Really recommend this place !
Tinnie
Ordered the classic beef pad Thai with an entree of satay chicken skewers. They were both delicious and would highly recommend this place as the staff are also extremely friendly :)

šŸ˜±Lizzieā€™s first impression: Iā€™ve always walked past this place but never gave it much thought, but after trying it out tonight, I definitely will be coming back.

šŸ©Lizzie enjoyed: the pad Thai was delicious - I ordered the seafood one and they were generous with the prawns and squid. The consistency of the noodles was also perfect.

šŸ…Lizzie did not enjoy: The green curry was less green than I thought, but it was still as flavoursome as it should be.

šŸ„‡Lizzie rates overall: I loved the dishes and I canā€™t wait to try more.

AT EASE | first time having Thai cuisine since visiting Thailand a couple of months ago! We got the ā€˜Streets of Bangkokā€™ and the Tofu Pad Thai, as well as an entree soup. The staff are friendly and food is good, we tried fried fish, pork, green curry and many beers hahaļ¼Œ love Thai beer, fresh taste. The only consider is the light, I little bit too bright for people for wants to have some drinks.

Generally an okay Thai place for cheap eats. The place feels cosy and the food is decent. Just a bit of let down to hear the waitresses complaining that there was so much leftovers, thinking my friend and I couldn't understand Thai.

Ordered lunch on Sunday from Uber Eats. Well packaged. Generous serving sizes. Packed with fresh vegetables. Tasty and bell balanced. Really satisfied.

@Ease, Lonsdale Street, Melbourne cbd, cuisine-Thai. Vegan red curry - I will be an instant fan if a Thai restaurant offers me a vegan curry!!! On top the flavours were on spot. Continuing our food journey, we were between 8-10 people and weā€™ve decided to go to @t Ease ā€“ Easy Thai as itā€™s conveniently located in Melbourne CBD. and the restaurant has plenty seats available downstairs and upstairs. When we came, we were welcomed by the friendly and nice customer staff.

Brilliant, dropped by and it was packed by noon.Ā Had the sukhothai noodles and was thoroughly impressed.Ā Lovely tang, great meats and the glass noodles were cooked to perfection.Ā Had a decent kick to it but they serve with the standard condiments which was good.Ā The service try hard and are friendly enough, but are definitely overwhelmed.
Valerie
First time visiting this restaurant - I like it!

Had the street food mix which has papaya salad, sticky rice and tamarind chicken - itā€™s very authentic (meaning the papaya salad is quite spicy since itā€™s Thai standards lol). Love the authenticity of the dish and I strongly recommend pairing Thai Milk tea with the dish because youā€™ll need it to extinguish the fire in your mouth!

The bbq chicken paired with the tamarind sauce is quite delicious, the whole meal tasted like comfort food to me. Although there was only 1 staff working, she was friendly and quite attentive. I enjoyed myself there and would love to drop by again for good Thai food and good vibes :)
Xue
Crispy pork is the best pork we had in melbourne. The crispy part can stick on your teeth as they are really soft. Pad thai just normal taste. Will come back to try other dishes.

Delicious, It is my first to eat Thai food, it's more delicious than I expected, like It~
The milk tea tastes health and the price is reasonable, like It~~~~~~~~~~~~~

how to get a terrible experience in this restaurant ļ¼Œit since a flying files landed on our pad thai noodle. The staff was taked out the area which files landedļ¼Œthen returned to us. Told us keep enjoy the same dishļ¼Œotherwise we could choose cancel the dish but you have to pay the full price anywayļ¼Œhow ridiculous the way they solve this problem. As a customerļ¼Œ we are not willing to accpet this solutionļ¼Œafter negotiated we still been charged half price for this pad thai. The administrator said ā€œwe have to charge you at lease half price ļ¼Œbecause you guys had finish half dish.ā€ and ā€ we are not able to control those files ļ¼Œbecause sometime we have to open the door.ā€ As an administrator , she didnā€™t felt sorry about our terrible experience, she just care about how much we ate , are we trying to take advantage from them, much disappointment during the dinner time.

Fast friendly service and a delicious green chicken curry. The fish cakes were a little dry and the pork stir fry was a little stingy on the pork however.
Food Critic
Went here few weeks ago and had the fish cake, crispy tofu with chilli sauce and peanut, massaman beef curry, jasmine rice, and chicken drunken noodle.

Food taste good here but find the dipping sauce is too much on the sweet side and the crispy tofu was abit bland and no taste. The massaman beef was more on the smaller serving with less beef and half vegetable even tho it taste good. I enjoy the chicken drunken noodle here. Still a nice place to go for Thai food in the city. The staff was friendly here. šŸ˜€

Entree, Salads, soups, and curries - what an interesting menu. Its so hard to choose when the options are so varied. You might want to try the soups and curries, they really stand out. The prices are very reasonable too. Great place!

Tasty quick Thai fix!

We were here on a Saturday morning and didn't really need to book a table in advance.

We got ourselves the grill chicken in tamarind sauce which was quite tasty. The tanginess, slight sweetness, went well with the smokiness of the grilled chicken. The meat was well marinated and quite tender.

We also got ourselves the crispy pork with Chinese brocolli which was yum as well. We would prefer slightly more meat in the dish otherwise everything was good. The veggies were fresh and crispy. Nothing too overpowering and the dish was overall balanced.

We also ordered a small bowl of tom yum sauce which was okay. It was slightly underwhelming for us. We'd prefer some more spice in the soup to give a bit more exciting flavours. There was something off about the dish as well but we couldn't quite pin-point what it was.

Overall, it's a great place for your Thai fix. Service was friendly and quick enough.
Fatcat
Cute thai place with lots of seating (good if you're one for last minute Friday night dinner outings). My favourite was the red curry, really like the slight fruity/citrusy flavour from the pineapples.
Andy Loves Food
Nice place for good Thai food. Lot of menu options for everyone including vegan! Located in a busy business district, this place really gets very busy during lunchtime. In short, itā€™s a nice place but if you are craving some Thai cuisine.

Friendly and service minded staffs, good Thai taste , afforadable place to dine however not that cheap or valued price compared to other Thai restaurants. But will still going back occasionally and will recommend anyone else to give it a try.

Ambience: It was Simple but good to be feel seated there
Food: It wasn't first time for me to have thai food. But since i am having in Australia where it seems people prefer less spicy thai.. hence it was ..we had Red thai curry and jasmine rice and coconut rice (it was more sweeter)
Service: It was nice service and staff behaviour towards their guests was great and serving.
Overall it is good place to have Thai away from Thailand in Melbourne šŸ™‚

We ordered food here tonight and it was delicious. We ordered spring rolls for entree, and they were delicious and served at a perfect temperature.
For main we ordered massaman curry and green curry with coconut rice and they were fantastic. We had enough left over for lunch the next day, which was fantastic.
What wasn't fantastic was the miscellaneous $1.50 charge on the bill. We asked what this was for and it was for "takeaway containers", which we were not told about when we asked.
The staff were dressed extremely casual, wearing hoodies and torn jeans.
The environment was welcoming, however it was quite full for dinner on a Wednesday at 5:45

Food was awesome, loved the massaman curry and banana blanket. Service was very speedy and the people were nice. However, asked to take the rest of our food home and was charged 50c per container ($1.50 all up), without being notified beforehand, which was disappointing. Renae Kleef

@t Ease is my go-to place in the CBD for Thai. It's a cute little restaurant with a rustic industrial style that makes you feel relaxed as you dine. I love that their menu is not overwhelming with choice, but has a select few dishes to choose from which are high quality. I've had the massaman beef curry and the satay sauce stir fry and both of them were very delicious and were just the right serving size, too. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating which adds to the lovely experience.

I ordered the surf and turf and I was not disappointed. The dish was beautifully balanced between it's texture, flavor and appearance with just the right amount of spice and chilli. The place had an inviting and relaxed authentic Thai atmosphere. I would definitely recommend! Aroy Mak Mak!

Love the crispy pork and grilled chick salad from easy Thai. It is pretty difficult to find similar place in the city - delicious Thai + not pricy + good dining atmosphere:) ideal for 4-6 friends gathering.

Pleasant little Thai eatery focused on Homeyish dishes. I had the pork hock stew tonight it's was pretty good. There's not many places that sell this dish. I would like to come back and try the fluffy omelette. Looks ravishing on another customers table while we were on our way out after finishing our meal!

We ordered the phad thai and tom yum soup, both werent spicy at all so we had chopped chilli on the side. The portion was reasonable but not one that would be bang for your buck. Great service and attentive staffs

Replacing Le Bangkok is another Thai eatery, renovated from a dark to bright ambience with pastel chairs and pendant drops.
We got a few spring rolls to start off with which came with your stock standard sweet chilli sauce. They were hot and crisp however small and the filling didn't have much impact. My all time favourite pad see ew were decent but I found it just a touch too salty. My colleague thought her pad thai was average also with too many bean shoots.
Shame they don't have any curry specials during lunch, only way you'll get it here is forking out close to $20 for it with a side of rice. Not sure what happened to Le Bangkok but their entree/main lunch deal for $15 made it our go to Thai restaurant.

My favourite restaurant, delicious and sweet. Everything's perfectly seasoned! The sauces are also perfect. Service is also impeccable, a new water jug would turn up before we even ask for it.

Food: I had the Pad Thai. The overall flavours were quite nice, though the dish leaned a little towards the sweet side; it would've been nice if it was more spicy.

Price: The price was reasonable for CBD food, though portions are on the small side.

Ambience: We went for a late lunch, so it was nice and quiet. Restaurant is clean and well lit. Staff were friendly.

Love Thai food here! Super friendly staff and the food came out pretty quickly šŸ˜„ I ordered pork hock with rice and it was yummy. Recommend this place if you are looking for a good Thai restaurant

Food is feisty Thai. It's redolent with lime, lemongrass, chilli, coriander and funky fish sauce. I got the food delivered and was instantly impressed with the fact that the food was still in the container. 10/10 for packaging. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes from their menu.

One of the best Thai restaurant in Melbourne CBD . The food selection are quite similar to any other Thai restaurant menu. Definitely recommend the crispy pork though. It is super rich in flavour. However, in my opinion, the stand out menu is definitely the Thai milk tea.

Their food portion has been way smaller than before, that is quite sad but all of their dessert is superb! Must try their coconut sorbet and banana fritter. Service is always lovely.

This is a great place to find all the Thai hits. It's a shame that the flavours are a bit watered-down though, lacking the punch and excitement that makes Thai food so spectacular.

Nevertheless, the pork hock and Suko Thai are stand-outs that come very close to transporting you to the streets of Thailand.

Incredible, affordable Thai in the CBD. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The steamed whole barramundi is huge, fresh and delicious (stuffed with herbs and lemongrass). Best price in the CBD. Ā Casual relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of space between tables.

Such a great little gem in the CBD. Cheap meals, everything we've had there has been delicious so far, and it's BYO wine! Highly recommend for Thai in the city!

Great place .. amazing food
Service was good
Pad see ew was amazing
Recommend everyone to try
Love this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ALWAYS HUNGRY
I ordered a pad thai and a pad see ew takeaway from this place so I can only comment on the food... they both tasted the same aside from one having peanuts and lemon. The pad thai lacked tamarind flavour, chives and bean shoots. The pad see ew had 5 bits of chinese broccoli. If you want chicken and rice noodles with nothing else (vegetables) then this place is for you.

I had the green curry and it was much thicker than other green curries I've had in the past, couldn't finish it because it immediately made me feel sick. My friend asked for no chilli on her dish and it came with chills anyway, another friend asked for no peanuts as he is allergic and still suffered a minor allergic reaction despite the waiter ensuring us that there was no use of peanut products. He had his meal refunded. Slightly overpriced, serving sizes rather small. However there is spacious seating and we did not need to make a booking despite having a group of 13 people.

Cute Thai restaurant, friendly services;) Went here with my friend for a late lunch, ordered Thai milk tea, red duck and Tom Yum fried rice. All very delicious, I especially like the curry, the sweetness from coconut milk and pineapple is amazing!
