This Wednesday 21st of Feb from 4.30pm, Yo and I will be pitching the Sibling Business Plan to volunteers and staff at Kinfolk!! Its a DRAGONS DEN of sorts and we want to know if our community thinks the business has legs....and if not....why?
Will you join us?
Your feedback is invaluable at this stage of the planning.

It’s Easter time and time for some goodies. I was also less interested in chocolate Easter eggs which is delicious by I decided to get some Swedish scrolls for Easter and they were soft, and full of cardamon flavours.
My partner and I also decided that I get a box of vegetables to support this cafe. This not for profit cafe was designed to support people less fortunate and they are staffed by volunteers.
I wholeheartedly support this cafe and it’s social conscience to help people.
The box of veggies came with chilli, potatoes, garlic, heirloom tomatoes, kale, brown onions, purple carrots, cauliflower, rosemary, coriander etc.
It was such a great box of food. This cafe is amazing and I’ll definitely be back. This place is a must visit!!
Sibling are a real winner on the social enterprise front, great vibes, good coffee, staff are always trying hard. The only thing I would say could be thought again is this is on the high end of pricing which can make it unaccessible to lots of people in the area.
Big coffees are BIG.
The Veggie tortilla dish...super delicious!
Watch out or you’ll miss it...two small tables outside...but oooo my, so mich space inside. Lovely decor, great music, friendly people. Thanks a bunch, you made my avo!
My friend found out about this new sister restaurant of Kinfolk. We could reserve the 'inside/outside' table where we could sit comfortably with a dog while also working on a laptop. Service was friendly, coffees were nice (although we had iced coffees, so bit easier to pull off than a normal coffee). My friend had the miso eggplant which she enjoyed. Would definitely go back, especially if I can get that same table again. Would be a great spot to do some work!
3.5/5
Great coffee as always. Sibling's done a few changes to their menu, so I decided to give them a second try. I first tried the Brawn of Rare Breed Pork on Sourdough with a Sunny Side Up Egg. The pulled pork was served in the form of a patty - slightly crisp and super tender. The oozy sunny side and the dollop of mustard was the perfect addition to the dish too.
Next up is the vegan Pulled Jackfruit with refried black beans and tortilla. I've only had jackfruit as 'pulled pork' once, so it was good to see it again being done well. The jackfruit is marinated thoroughly, so it does taste very Mexican. The beans could've been more flavourful as it took up most if the dish, but other than that, a pretty solid vegan dish.
Sibling is a real find.
Dropped in for second lunch this week.
Nothing changed from one visit to the next.
Same great service. Same fantastic menu.
Same great dishes.
Seriously good.
The Miso Eggplant is brilliant.
Good wine too.
This is a great kid friendly cafe. I came here with my 2 year old son & enjoyed a lovely lunchtime meal (miso eggplant on toast) & Melbourne quality caffe latte. Staff are super friendly too. Highly recommended!
I’ve been to Sibling a couple of times now, and seriously cannot get enough! I love their unique brunch offerings, so refreshing when you’re after something other than smashed avo! The grainola bowl and miso eggplant are definite must tries!
Absolutely beautiful place the food is fantastic and I love what they stand for differently going to become a local for sure.
The food here is phenomenal. Fresh, seasonal, delicious! I am yet to be disappointed by anything I've eaten here and my tastebuds certainly thank me for visiting. Sibling Cafe is also decently priced with 100% of profits going to charity. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Amazing coffee was served.
The location is in residential area, but worth visiting!
I have been waiting for Sibling to open for a few months. I've always liked Kinfok for the concept. Sibling shares the concept (profits to charity), feels more upmarket than Kinfolk and the food is exceptional. Non-standard breakfast items (e.g. Arepas), amazing coffee, great service. Loved everything about it!
my favourite place to get coffee or brunch in melbourne with the loveliest staff. always smiling, always welcoming :)
Friendly service and fantastic coffee in the sunshine this morning. The inclusion of sparkling water is a rare treat.
Had a lovely dinner here. The service was engaged and efficient. The layout allows you to visually engage with other dinners. I liked the communal tables. This is well worth a visit in a city that has so many dining options.
Amazing chai and vegan pistachio orange cake! Café staff and volunteers were so lovely, will be back 😋
