Moved to the area right before lockdown started and the hot chicken pack has helped me survive the last couple of months. It’s extra crispy and spicy and always satisfies my cravings. Staff are very friendly too. Can’t wait to dine in when that’s allowed!

I am a KFC regular love a chicken burger and fries chicken in general. Went there for poutine for Canada Day but added the hot hot (hot chicken burger) chicken and waffles and the Mac and cheese. To share with my Canadian girlfriend. I started with the burger and oh my it was epic. Tender, slightly spicy, perfect bun and a great slaw/salad mix. The best chicken burger I can think of ever having. Next was the chicken and waffles. Never tried that combo before. The chicken was sweet from the maple syrup which I quite enjoyed, the waffle was soft and made from pancake batter. ( I though waffles were crisp but my gf informed me they can be either but usually soft). I tried a bit of chicken and waffles at the same time but was unimpressed, the beauty of this dish was to eat the chicken first and then dip the waffle in the vanilla ice cream and eat it after the chicken. The poutines while not being real Canadian style. Was enjoyable enough high on salt which meant high on flavour, nice gravey. At this point all that was left was the Mac and cheese which was could not eat because we were full and had not cutlery. Once home I tried it and was very disappointed. It was terrible, and compared to the other things we had it just didn't come close. Overall we live in the east 50 min drive with no traffic, I will be back for that burger, and maybe the waffles.

Wow the buckets of chicken are amazing! I ordered delivery recently and it came still hot and wasn't soggy at all. Thanks for a great chicken feast FAT!
I've been here a few times and every time I have been impressed. The burgers here are very yummy. Chicken tenders are very good. The staff here are very nice. I would recommend this as a must go and try their food.
You come here for the fried chicken ( Or i did anyway ) and that's what you get! The coating flavour is great, it's been well cooked as well. Really happy with what was presented to me
My quest for the best fried chicken burger in Melbourne is finally over. The hot hot burger is amazing! The flavour combo was out of this world. I was a bit hesitant about the fact they use chicken breast, not thighs. But boy, chicken was tender and juicy. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back next time to cure my fried chicken burger cravings.
We brought our NZ friends to F.A.T recently and could not fault anything about our experience!
We ordered the popcorn chicken, buffalo wings, original fried chicken and sides of coleslaw, salad, pickles and fries. All dishes came out fast, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Even for those on a health buzz like myself, there are still options that cater! The salad was incredibly tasty we could have ordered another, but we were all so full from the generous portions on offer here.
Service was only positive, friendly and accommodating. Will certainly be returning here, and spreading the good word in the mean time!

Not much to dislike about FAT. Its a spacious place with some booths available for a cosy dine in option and can get quite busy at peak times. Staff were friendly and efficient with food arriving pretty quickly. The walls are adorned with North American culture if you like that. Its a light filled place with huge windows. They have beers and cider on tap at standard prices for the area and water available to serve yourself at no cost.
Now to the food. My go to is always the chicken waffle though today opted for the hot chicken. The chicken was great while pieces arent huge they had a little zing of heat in them so l was happy though personally l prefer more heat but enjoyed the leg and thigh served with the waffle anyway. The waffle was light and fluffy with a good drizzle of maple syrup and a dusting of icing sugar accompanied by a ball of ice cream. Delicious. The poutine we ordered was large, with gravy of great quality and taste and very cheap at $6. Brilliant addition to your meal. We certainly filled up and left fully satisfied. Whilst not a great place calorie wise/five food group wise its worth a visit even if its just a sometimes place for me.
Love the Fitzroy venue so was excited to try this one out! Food and service just as good. The Poutine absolutely delicious and still one of my favourites, fried chicken perfectly crisp yet tender and juicy and burger fresh, cheesy and totally indulgent! Will definitely be back!
