They had a new menu. It’s fantastic and amazing. Prices is reasonable. I bought one orange juice and got another free. Worth of trying. Definitely will come next time.

Amazing breakfast here! Great attentive service, beautiful view and delicious food. Coffee was lovely too. We got the avo smash, mushrooms and eggs on toast and all were cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend!

We went to Sir basil cafe for early breakfast on Sunday , the menu is pretty simple and basic. I ordered chilli scrambled eggs and my partner ordered the smashed avo they both where pleasantly good. Service is quick and friendly

Really cute cafe right by Docklands. Food was delicious and well priced. Staff were friendly and prompt to in ordering and delivering the food. Inside was nice and cozy with a view of the harbour. Would visit again when in Melbourne!!

There are a select few places that do great coffee in Docklands, and this is one of them. Perfect coffee every time. The pulled pork and chilli scramble are fantastic, and the menu seems to get refined with good options regularly. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Living in docklands we havent had a lot of options as far as nice cafes go. We went here and loved it. I had the smashed avocado with a poached egg and my husband had the veggie omlet. They were both beautiful meals and plenty big enough. We also had a smoothie each, they were delicious!! Staff were friendly and we were served properly. Looking forward to going back there again soon

Had a very enjoyable brunch at Sir Basil. I had the Katsu chicken curry which was one of the Katsu curries I have had. Orange juice was freshly squeezed, and coffee was very nice. Staff were friendly and the cafe is dog friendly with a great view over the water. Will definitely be returning.

Finally a decent cafe in Docklands!! Love this place, it has stunning waterfront views. Ambient atmosphere, love the steak and salmon. Coffee is also really good!

Great food, excellent coffee and friendly efficient service. I live in Docklands and this is now our first choice for coffee and breakfast. Prices match the quality of dishes, well worth paying a little extra. I have brought family friends and business associates alike to Sir Basil’s and all enjoyed the food and cheery atmosphere.

Eating Away Melbourne

Docklands has a specialty coffee joint woohoo! Ordered the iced soy latte and it was a generous serve. For food I ordered the waffle with fresh fruit, ice-cream, honey and cream fraiche. I feel like thats a bit too many options maybe i don't need the ice cream or the cream? Overall it was a good taste and service was really lovely!

What a perfect little cafe with a wide offering of slant variants on traditional breakfast options. I opted for the eggs benedict with Korean pulled pork which was more than filling. The waitress from Argentina was super friendly and funny which really added to the experience. Great coffee and great views of the harbour

Love this place after having a weird experience when they first opened. They have worked hard and got it rihht. Coffee is great and the food, well the big breakfast which I always get, is just perfect. I would consider myself a regular now and am so glad this is an option as the rest of the local cafes are poor in comparison. Burgers for lunch are also good and you can get a beer here as well.

Great new spot in Docklands - from the clean almost minimalistic fit out to the well presented uniformed and friendly staff this place is a great spot for weekend brunch To refer to staff as friendly hides the subtle and deft way they engage the customers without formality but not without respect and care The food, coffee and beverages (try the smoothies they are great) are all the standard you would expect from a cafe in Melbourne - let’s hope they keep it up - as so many start well and diminish over time Thanks Sir - keep up the good work

Simply exceptional. We were staying at Docklands. For a few days we grabbed our brekkie and coffees..amazing coffee.....awesome cakes and breads. The day we were leaving, the manager gave us a whole loaf of freshly baked banana bread for free. Exceptional gesture. Thank you for your hospitality.

Love the food presentation but to find this hidden gem, you had to look past the dark frontage and sign. Now they weren't lying about big serving of eggs and variety of side meats on their 'Big Breakfast'. And the mushroom toast topped with pecorino cheese is a nice pairing to the dish. You can tell they really thought through their ingredients and recipes.

Fantastic New Cafe! I had a great time at Sir Basil. Korean twist on the classics make this a very unique place. Highly recommend the parma burger which comes with sweet potato Chips and aioli. Even 10% for docklands residents!
