Some Bunee Loves Food

Got the Korean BBQ chicken with steamed rice and side dishes. Filling and big portions. The place is located on Flinders St which was convenient to get to for lunch.

We’ve been here for dinner but only few people in the restaurant that day, which really confused me. I even guessed if the food here was beyond average. However the hot pot and plank cake we ordered surprised us so much as they were absolutely appetizing! Food was tasty 😋 The place really worths 4 ⭐️

Our fav korean soup joint, no msg and natural flavoured. Service could be better, order their soy bean soup or kimchi soup, bibimbap. Lack of english understanding so be patient

I read funny comment in zomato about the mean uncle and still came to kimchi tray for fun!
I was looking for him but he's no longer here i served by this nice and friendly young asian man very polite the service is good

Order the chilli fried chicken taste really good
Beef also taste okey

I think you guys need to try this
They hv a new management system worth to try!

Popped in for a late lunch yesterday and it was fantastic. I got a huge serving of bibimbap with sides, miso soup, and amazing house-made kimchi for $13. There was so much I had to ask for a take away container. Prompt service and genuinely friendly staff, too.

The taste for beef was very good! And each dish comes with small dishes and rice. Only $15 each!
I was so hungry at that time, and it didn’t take too long to get meals ready! Fried chicken with bbq source was so good! It is worth trying next time.

Really nice and tasty food! Great customer service and ambience too :) would recommend! Ordered the mild pork with rice and friend got spicy chicken and cheese with rice.

Food is great. Owner has his own way of dealing with customers which may come across rude. Very typical Korean dad kind of way. We laugh it off all the time.

Super friendly and respectable owner who goes out of his way to make sure everyone is served.
Commendable rapport building and customer service.

Food wise, they have a great variety of Korean food which could be a bit more authentic.

Kudos on avoiding MSG and the homemade kimchi!

Would highly recommend for affordable Korean dining (you could even get free ginseng tea!)

Had a craving for kimchi and KimChi Tray delivered. Kimchi pancake was packed full of flavour. The Kimchi Bimba was delightful also. The steamed vegetarian dumplings were mouthful of delicious.
The metal chopsticks are tricky so perhaps fork and spoon option is advised.

First time trying this, definitely coming back! Staff were really friendly, patience and great customer service! To add on, the food was really reallygoood! The beef stew soup was great as well. Worth the money and great atmosphere. 😊

Been to here a number of years and I know of people who really like it. One of my wife’s fav places to go for Korean. Any of the Bibimbab clay dishes are nice or the bbq dish choices. For me, if you end up picking spicy dishes, on a level 1-10 , people may find it ranging 6-8 for spicy ness. Service is always friendly for us.

Delicious food, cozy casual atmosphere, and very friendly service. After a beautiful day spent walking and site seeing, we stopped here for a late dinner and I haven't stopped thinking about my meal ever since. I ordered the beef casserole bowl- spicy. Looking for a place back home in Chicago that can measure up.

Definitely best Korean food outside of Korea!!! The restaurants offering is of a good amount of veriety and the servings there are of a large size. Had dinner a few times there during my Melbourne visit. Everytime the wait staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding, thought I was in Korea when I was eating it, super delicious!!!! Definitely recommend it.

$12 lunch special The food is great especially bibimbab. The owner action on over safety to kids and too neat may frustrate people with kids or seem to be rude. I dont like when he keep coming to tell my boy to quiet or telling about dangers or fuzz at first but I think he just has a good intention and he also gave extra healthy side dish to my boy. Overall food is good and fast service so just keep coming here.

Great food served quickly by extremely friendly staff, who are more than willing to accommodate adjustments to meals where possible. The kimchi is homemade and especially delicious. The TV in the corner of the restaurant offers an interesting insight into currently popular Korean music trends.
