Dined here with some friends after stage 1 release of restrictions- max 20 customers at a time. Service was fast, dumplings were beautiful. We ordered 3 types of xiao long bao and loved the traditional and đŚ crab ones the most. Happy days.
Hands down, my fav xiao long bao place & probs even for dumpling as well. Plus if you're on Zomato Gold, you are eligible for 10% of the total bill.
Ordered:
Steamed Pork Dumpling (15 pcs) $10.6
Traditional Steamed Xiao Long Bao $11.8
Steamed Xiao Long Bao (Crab & Pork) $13.8
Kung Pao Chicken Noodles đ $13.9
Just amazing, best xiao long bao - juicy. Even the steamed dumplings were good, my Shanghai friend verified it.
It is to note that the kung pao chicken noodles are not that good, tasted more like sweet & sour chicken rather than kung pao.

The place is really famous for Xiao long baos and dumplings. Visited this place with friends and was really impressed with the quality and flavour of the dishes served here.
Pros:
Good ambience. A busy place indicates the food is good and that brings the crowd each day.
Value for money.
All dishes have great flavour!
Unlimited serves of tea and chilli oil which I donât find at many dumpling places.
Cons:
Long waiting lines on the weekends, which is justified in a way, but be prepared.
Your order might take some time to arrive because of the crowd.
Dishes you must try:
â˘Chicken and Prawn dumplings in chilli oil
â˘Xiao long baos (pork or chicken/prawn)
â˘Fried pork dumplings
â˘If you like tofu you must try the fresh curd with preserved egg (not my favourite but my friends seemed to enjoy it)
You have to queue for a short while at lunch time but the staff are efficient at getting diners seated as quickly as possible, with menus given in the queue so you can preorder. Food is good, generous and comes out hot and fast. Staff could be friendlier but all in all itâs a great value for money option for lunch.
This restaurant gets quite busy for lunch, so best to come here right on 12 for lunch. It is a large restaurant with comfortable seating and great service. We ordered the xiao long bao, noodles in oil, pork dumplings and chicken dumplings. Delicious and recommend mixing the available sauces to dip the dumplings in. Will definitely come back.
No doubt this restaurant will always have a line to dine in! Have been here twice and it has been consistent in their fast paced service and food. Ordered the classic xlb, mini Shanghai wontons, shanghai fried rice cakes, Shanghai fried noodles and pan fried buns. Wouldnât say their pan fried buns are the best, but the Shanghai fried rice cakes, wontons and fried noodles were amazing!
Would recommend to come with a group of friends to share a variety of dishes, however do be aware there will probably be some wait time!
The best dumplings in town!!
Good quality food which is definitely worth its price. The place is often packed, and you often place your orders while you are waiting in line outside due to how busy it gets. Apart from how busy it gets, and the staff rushing you towards the end of your meal, itâs a great spot for dumplings!
Great fast and furious: Tokyo drift, well Asian cuisine anyway. Great flavors and quality. The beef and bean curd spicy pot creates a food high and the black bean was excellent. Definitely returning.
My girlfriend and I tend to come here on Wednesday afternoons just when the place is about to be opened again. The service here is quite fast and reliable however there are times when it gets busy and they cannot tend to you which is understandable. Their xiao long baos are to die for and their dumplings are simply delicious, would recommend this place to those looking for a cheap meal but want to indulge themselves for a rich taste.
I overdid it by ordering three serves of dumplings BUT I still ate everything! The beauty of a place this busy is the freshness of the dishes. Served piping hot and packed full of delicious ingredients, you wonât be disappointed. Itâs busy at lunch but the team does whatever they can to seat you promptly
If you are the Bao person that I recommend Original XiaoLongBao and pen fried bao. Every time I return here for the bao and spring onion oil chicken.
But as for the hot and sour soup, thatâs the worst I ever had. Never try it.
Food is delicious for a good price.
We tried the pork xiao long bao, fried rice and the dried pork noodles. Everything was amazing.
The establishment is quite noisy and stressful. You just go there to eat, not the best to keep a conversation or for a date. But you also appreciate this fact when you are lining up and they are able to take you in few minutes.
I always go to this branch for dumplings and I always leave satisfied.
The xiao long bao were absolutely delicious. The soup was so flavorful. The xiao long bao were a complete delight to eat in this chilly weather.
The pan-fried bao were delicious, too. The pork filling was juicy and shrimp plump. I recommend eating it with the chili sauce.
I recommend getting some hot tea to accompany with the meal.
This place is so good that there is always a queue when we arrive. Awesome vegan options for the dumplings and really quick service! âşď¸
Couldnât believe how cheap this place was given the 10% weekend surcharge + amazing quality. My fave was the chilli with peanut butter dumplings, the sauce was so nutty and addictive.. Cooked so well! The xiao long bao was also one of the best Iâve had - so meaty with perfect soup portion.
