Absolutely awesome atmosphere and great friendly staff. It's never busy so it's great to enjoy some good food and conversation. I had the prawn and crab pizza, really tasty with real crab meat! The cheese platter is a great finish to the meal along with a nice glass of wine. I come back here every year with a friend from Brisbane and am always super impressed.

Forty years ago our family would often come to Melbourne from Geelong and "religiously" would eat at Pizza Napoli in Russell St. This is the families other restaurant, and carries on the great pizza traditions. Classic Pizza Capriciosa, generous toppings, perfect base, and in our case, wonderful nostalgia. Whilst the original owner has recently retired his son still keeps that spirit going strong.

We ended up going with the special which was...Kansas City-style BBQ ribs with jalapeno creamed corn, mashed potatoes & cole slaw. Not what you'd expect at an Italian place, but kudos to Ciao for their sense of adventure. This was a magical plate of food, once again everything was seasoned just right, and I'll be dreaming about those ribs for a long time.
