The pies are brilliant, the beef and onion is my absolute favorite and if that's not available then the other pies and sausage rolls are there as back up. Never had a problem here.
We went there after the hiking. The menu is simple and there are so many different types of bread to choose! The size is also big, like I’ve ordered a large latte, my friend said it’s like a beer size. My dish is the French toast with grilled banana,bacon and maple syrup. The mixing taste is sooo good! It’s like amazing taste. If I went to hiking there again, I definitely will go there to grab a lunch, and also the sourdough bread! It’s definitely worth a shot!
Came in for a quick grab and go lunch. You can actually eat in and they've got more substantial items for breakfast and lunch.
There's quite a variety of food items so I settle for a steak and mushroom pie, not bad. Beef mince with the occasional mushroom. I also got an almond crossionant which was filled with a sweet custard. The pastry itself was crumbly but more dense than your proper French variety.

Amelia's is a little gem. Had smashed avo breakfast twice. Wonderful food made with care and love. Second time I waited 25 minutes but hey things don't always go smoothly in the kitchen especially with just one person multi tasking. It's worth the wait. Good honest food and grad a doughnut on the way out - they made me popular at home
Visiting Ferntree Gully area from the USA. Stopped at Amelia's and enjoyed a delicious lasagna and a jelly layered dessert. Great display of pastries. Service was above and beyond since they were closing soon. Would give them a 10 if it were possible!!
Great fresh pastries ,cakes and sandwiches are unbelievable a must to try if you are in the area !! Recommend to all my family , will be back soon

So happy to find this bakery, a good bakery has been missing from rowville ferntree gully area. We will be coming back. Great friendly service and the pies were delicious and tasted really fresh, especially enjoyed the chicken and veg pie and chunky beef.
This is a quaint little bakery in Upper Ferntree Gully. Great food and awesome coffee. The service was really friendly. We had some cakes and coffee. The cakes were really fresh and tasted like they had been made properly - with real cream and custard. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
Came here for lunch, friendly staff service was very quick. The burger and toastie were delicious. Long black was fabulous (5/5) - full bodied, great crema, exactly the right temperature. Chai latte was very nice too. Highly recommended!
Had the most delicious croissant I've ever eaten. The almond croissant. Even bought a second one as I needed to give it to someone else to try. Great coffee too! Will definitely be back.

This incredible little bakehouse is a really worthwhile addition to Upper Gully shops. The coffee and service are great, and the food options are really extensive. Highly recommend.

Happened to eat at this bakery on its 1st birthday. And it was a treat.
We ate in rather than takeaway and were well looked after, even a bit of salad on the side for a pie.
Will definitely return the next time we are in Melbourne.
