šŸ’«White Eggs Ommelete with poached chicken and enoki mushroom & Tofu scrambled for brekkie ? Not mention friendly customer service & cozy seats, this cafe is a must to visit šŸ¤©ā˜• šŸš¦The most important is the coffee is extraordinary, taste amazing, definitely happy to come back šŸ˜‰šŸ„°

We had the breakfast board to share for brunch. It was a really good spread and definitely one to have when you are really hungry. The fresh fruit, and home made hash brown are definitely what made the board sing!

I went to this place because of the high point. It seems like its Matcha latte, big brekkie and their cheesy hash-brown are popular, so I ordered a Matcha latte and a big brekkie with additional cheesy hash-brown. In short, they didnā€™t provide justification to their high point. All of the items I had were basically mediocre. - The matcha latte didnā€™t taste any better than most mediocre matcha latte. - The big brekkie is mediocre at best. The pieces of sourdough were only slightly toasted, so it went soggy quicker than I expected. The bacon and chorizo were alright, but they didnā€™t taste any better than cooking by yourself at home. Their Roma tomato was grilled with herbs, which is a thoughtful touch, but the execution was not great, so the tomato was dry and you can barely taste the herb. The mushrooms looked like it was sautĆ©ed with a bit of herb, but it was so blend that I would have guessed they boiled it instead. The spinach was just plain boiled spinach, so it was quite blend. - The cheesy hash-brown is a decent concept, but the execution didnā€™t live up to the concept. The cheesy hash-brown is big, but because it is so thick, the hash-brown didnā€™t feel that crispy in general. The cheese could have been a decent addition, but maybe there wasnā€™t enough, so the texture of melted cheese didnā€™t stand out enough. Furthermore, maybe they used only 1 kind of cheese that melts very well, but the flavour is more on the mild side, the cheese didnā€™t add anything on top of the flavour as well. My opinion to improve the cheesy hash-brown is to have a thinner stack of hash-brown so it feels crispier, and they needs at least 2 kinds of cheese: one that melts really well, and another one that adds a cheesy ā€œzingā€ flavour to the hash-brown. I think their big breakfast has a very large room for improvement. I may sound too picky for a simple plate of big breakfast, but big breakfast is not simple. Big breakfast is not a simple collection of cooked food items put on a plate. Each food item has a chance to be in the center stage, so each item needs to be prepared such that each can all shine by itself, and each flavour needs to be able to transit to another flavour harmoniously such that the dish is coherent. They need to work more on the bread, tomato, mushroom and spinach, as their flavours are lacking at this stage.

One of our favourite local cafes with the best breakfast and lunch menu! We contacted them to ask if they can cater an event we were hosting and they were so accommodating. They created a menu to be exactly what we needed and we had so many compliments on how tasty and unique the food was. Thank you so much to the Miss Marie team!

Great coffee. I got a magic with their Ethiopian single origin. Shot was pulled well, good atmosphere, nice snacks to go with a take away order, quick and friendly service. Worth going out of your way for

A local favourite cafe with lots or space and light. Plenty of outdoor tables that catch the morning sun too. The coffee is good, not necessarily and same with the food and service. You will not be disappointed but not delighted either. I had the fruit toast as nothing else inspired me and enjoyed the cinnamon butter, nice touch. I do love the location and like to share the local cafe love as we need them all! Update: just had the breakfast board for 2x exceptional!! Upgraded to 5 stars now

Miss Marie was the location of our first brunch in the new year. A busy little Rosanna cafe with plenty of outside seating and a great menu. I had the meaty Hey Bloke breakfast which was a perfect hangover cure with bacon, eggs, chorizo and a seriously massive cheesey hash. Do yourself a favour and try that hash... amazing. Coffee was nice but a little weak for my tastes so would definitely order a strong one in a future visit. My wifeā€™s fried chicken burger was a tower of happiness.

My 16 yo found this place and suggested we come because the menu looked good. Indeed it was. A healthy mix of food that caters for all dietaries, Miss Marie Cafe is well worth a visit. The loose leaf chai latter to start with was very good and all drinks on our table within five minutes. Our meals took about -5 and was worth the wait. Both our ham and our chicken servings were good. Cakes and sweets at the counter looked superb. Staff were excellent and their smiles and helpful less was appreciated. Seating outside available. Toilets unisex which is useful. High chairs available for toddlers. Wheelchair friendly. Good seating out the front. Plenty of parking on the street available. Takeaway available.

My meal was incredible. Cannot fault it. Just wish there were gf options.

Love the coffee and service! Thanks!

Been here a few times food is great. Service is okay though the prices are way overpriced. I had the big breakfast and asked to remove the sourdough and replace it with corn fritters, I was happy to pay a little extra waitress asked the chef and he demanded to charge an additional $10 for the fritters on top of the cost of my meal. How can the so called chef justify an additional $10 for 2 small fritters?

We visited this cafe on a Saturday morning. The cafe was pretty full, with plenty of people getting take away coffees too.<br/><br/>Nice location with plenty of parking, situated opposite to the train station.<br/><br/>Once in the restaurant we were greeted immediately and asked to wait for a table as there were none available yet. Once a table freed up, we were seated.<br/><br/>The coffee here was okay, nothing to get excited over though. Coffees came out quite quickly after we had ordered them, which was nice.<br/><br/>Now the food, we ordered the Egg Benedict, Smashed Avo, and The Bloke.<br/>Food was quite standard but good value for the price.Ā <br/><br/>Staff were friendly and attentive.<br/><br/>Overall, a nice cafe with a good atmosphere and great service. Food and coffee was very standard though.

The worst customer service Iā€™ve had in a long time! <br/>Ordered a soy latte take away, lady behind the counter didnā€™t even look up at me or use basic responses like ā€˜pleaseā€™ or ā€˜thank youā€™. <br/>As soon as I walked out I noticed my coffee was not soy. Politely went back to get re-made and had a forced apology with attitude. Donā€™t mind my order was wrong, but wonā€™t be back due to poor customer service!
Jaycee
A lovely cafe for brunch and coffee catchup. Food & service are both great as well.Ā <br/>Convenient location as it's close to the station and there is parking around the cafe as well.

Consistently great food and service. Have been a regular for over 5 years and not a single complaint. Love love love it. Spl shoutout to their baristas..
Two Sheds
Miss Marie is located right beside Rosanna station, a positive monolith these days after the recent level crossing removal and new station construction. The key learning is that itā€™s an easy trip to get here by train.<br/><br/>Iā€™d been hearing good things about Miss Marie for years. The feedback was spot on. Itā€™s a fine cafe. Nicely appointed with a good look and feel. I found myself loving lots of things like the tables and chairs. Theyā€™re stylish. They work. The details are important here.<br/><br/>I liked the look of the menu. I wish Iā€™d had the scope to order a few of the dishes I saw. I spied a few dishes on other tables. They looked pretty bloody good, Iā€™d have to say. I had major envy. It was only a coffee and muffin day for us today. The next time will be different. Our coffees were seriously good. Top draw in fact. Really good. Our chocolate and beetroot muffin was super too. Absolutely delicious.<br/><br/>As stated above, thereā€™s lots of details well managed here as well as the things listed above. They all count. Chilled table water. Good sounding playlist. Engaging service. I saw them all here.<br/><br/>It felt good and was good at Miss Marieā€™s. Iā€™ll be back for a meal for sure.
Eating With Ebony
Went here a few weekends ago with a friend. A cute cosy cafe with lots of seating inside & out as well as plenty of car parks around. My friend & I both got the meal called ā€œhey blokeā€. Everything was pretty standard but the cheese hash brown was to die for. Never had anything like it before.
Food And Fun For Two
Ordered our usual big breaky and chilli scramble, perfect as always and never leave with anything less than a full belly. Very well priced, great atmosphere and service.<br/>Best breakfast place in Melbourne!

Wheelchair accessible inside and out. Accessible bathrooms available.<br/><br/>We came on A public holiday and got a table<br/><br/>Service was great. Coffee was AMAZING.<br/><br/>Serving size was generous for price and very nice! We'll be back!
Jaynie's Belly
I want to give a 3.5 stars but zomato app would not allow me. Been wanting to try this cafe for a while, my friend had the wagyu burger and I had the corn fritters with salmon. She said the burger definitely had a distinct taste which she couldn't put quite figure what it was. I liked how my fritters were fried in a ball instead of flat and round. Atmosphere was okay, coffee I enjoyed!

Went there last week with the family. Food was a little above average. I wouldnt mind going back again at all. <br/>The pumpkin was sweet to my liking.. poached egg was cooked perfectly and spices were just nice. But the other dish which was sourdough with scrambled egg and feta and chilli... that was just okay. (The scramble egg would look a little different to the original as i requested the feta to be seperated from the egg) <br/>Overall. Food was out pretty slow, taste-wise was good. waitresses were nice.
Carla
Food looks better than it tastes, but great coffee and a great vibe in a low key area. The last couple of brunches Iā€™ve had here have been pretty mediocre.
Cheesy.boys
Delicious smashed avo with rocket and chilli. The portion was generous and poached egg was cooked perfectly with a nice runny yolk. The coffee and service was also top notch. Will definitely be back.
Bel Wilson
Miss Marie's is great for a quick sandwich on the go, the staff were friendly and attentive but unfortunately the burger was overly oily and ladden with melted cheese which took away from having much flavour. Though the chicken sandwich had a beautiful lemon mayo. The coffee wasn't ideal and luke warm at best, heard they had a selection of vegan/vegetarian friendly treats but came upon mostly empty counters unfortunately.
Vegetarian Food Lover
Finally got the chance to go to Miss Marie. Came here with friends & everyone ordered vegetarian dishes, speaking of which there are plenty of vegetarian dishes on the menu. We ordered veg brekkie with scrambled eggs, smash avocado, sweetcorn fritters & smash pumpkin. The serving was generous for each dish. I had the veg brekki and it was delicious! I loved the green mixture of peas, avocado, broccoli & kale. The scrambled eggs were made perfectly, not too runny or over cooked. Service was very friendly & helpful. Miss Marie is also kids friendly as I noticed they have children toys & books, high chairs & baby change table.
Andrew David
Super salad dressing tasted like chef had clumsily poured a cup of vinegar into it. Could not taste much else. Tried the fritters about a year ago and they were better than this dish; but still nothing special. Nice spot and good ambience but average food in my experience.

Coffee was very disappointing. Burnt and almost not drinkable. Didn't order food, so can't comment on food quality but won't be coming back for coffee.

Miss Marie. Nice cafe in Rosanna. Great service and nice waygu beef burger with chips. I donā€™t really like he coffee but it presents nicely. Highly recommended for a quick bite there.
Alta
Very busy cafe in Rosana. Went in for a brunch myself. Coffee was average. The place is a bit loud but understandable for a lunch time. Staffs are really nice and friendly. My Chicken burger was good. I definitely will come back to try some breakfast next time.
Gen.xo
I go here once a week for my breakfast. They're very welcoming and memorise my order every time. Today I sat down and they had already put my order through as the staff saw me walking towards the cafe. Great service and food is perfect.
Beck Haley
I had the smashed pumpkin, thoroughly enjoyed it although it could have had a little more smashed pumpkin on it, Service was great. Would definitely be back to try some more things on the menu.
Emily Anderson
I have tried my best to enjoy this cafe but visiting here more than 3 times and each time i havenā€™t enjoyed it. The food is very standard but has a great BLAT on the menu (would also reccomend their pastries and baked goods), however customer service was lacking and i felt as though some staff were quite rude. Nonetheless, with a low-medium budget this cafe could be the place for you.
Alistair
OK food let down by hipster attitudes and matching high-brow prices. Coffee is ok, but never feel welcome in this place after several visits
Filicia Linarta
Small cafe around the corner of rosanna. Prompt service, ordered the super salad and its super delish! The only downside: not enough beetroot hummus to balance out the vegie goodness. But still a go to cafe for me šŸ˜‹

Such a great vibe here! Great coffee! Delicious brekkie-hubby had the veggie brekkie and I had diy with a hash-so good! Had an another coffee too it was that good. Be back soon!

Hmm....things have gone a bit downhill.Ā  Tried to think of a reason but school holidays are over and it was just any old M - Th lunchtime but food was not very good.Ā  Service was slow and food delivery from time of order made me wonder if there was a private party somewhere I couldn't see.Ā  As we had two small children with us it took way too long.<br/><br/>We had ordered: 1 x children's pancake, a bowl of chips, poached eggs with bacon, a BLAT and a Pranna Chai Latte.Ā  Now honestly - a difficult order?Ā  Nah, I doubt.<br/><br/>The Chai came fairly quickly.Ā  Followed by a siesta during which the 1 and 2 1/2 year olds tried hard to be pleasant company in a restaurant.<br/><br/>Then came the food.Ā  The BLAT evoked no negative comments from my friend but then, let's face it, she was managing two small children so the BLAT was probably a welcome diversion.Ā  The pancake - well, what kids don't like pancakes, ice cream and 100's and 1000's?Ā  The eggs were a concern - one was not in its shell but was quite well done and dry.Ā  The other was halfway to dried out but I was too embarrassed to ask for both to be replaced - which they did very promptly I'd like to add.<br/><br/>And now to the chips. Uh. Ugh.Ā  (See below) You know the bottom of the bag stuff with all the broken bits and whatever bits looked overcooked and are nothing but crunch and oil and the longest chip is barely 3cm?Ā  That was this bowl.Ā  I could not believe this actually left the kitchen!!!!<br/><br/>Miss Marie, sorry to say but bye-bye.

Fantastic cafe based in the burbs! At 12.30pm on a Sunday this place was buzzing but we managed to get a table for two. The porridge was one of my favourites for the season. The size and consistency was perfect! All the elements of the dish were amazing and generous - coconut yoghurt, muesli and stewed fruit. A dish I'd definitely return for!
Rembo
Nice looking cafe and food was good too. <br/>However, my second visit for take away coffee was a bad experience. The biggest let down and reason I wont be back is the rudest barista. He took my order in such a mean way that I wish I never went in there. The other Indian (I think) barista is very nice and makes great coffee.
Miss Laura
Hands down the most disappointing experience I have ever had and I didnā€™t even eat here. To be fair I didnā€™t get to because they apparently hire the rudest cafe workers ever.<br/><br/>Walked in the door and we were straight up ignored. A couple of people walk in and wait behind us. Once she felt like we were worth her time the waitress started speaking to the couple who entered after us. I butted in and said we were here first. An eye roll followed by an abrupt ā€œrightā€ followed. So I told her not to worry about it.<br/><br/>Some advice to the owners: the lady with the lip piercing canā€™t converse with customers and will lose you revenue. Heaven forbid she has to tell people they have to wait for a table. Wonā€™t be back and I will be telling all my friends about this eye rolling experience. I suggest hiring people who are passionate about service and the place they work at.<br/><br/>I did however have an amazing meal at the train yard which I walked to from Miss Marie after this garbage experience. Great coffee and truly friendly service.
The Food Baby Maker
My favourite local where you can count on good food great coffee and a friendly atmosphere. The best in the Rosanna area without a doubt šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

Busy cafe especially on weekends. Staff were prompt and welcoming. Tried one sweet and one savoury dish and both were good. Big portion sizes!

This popular local cafe I've visited a few times recently, has excellent knowledgeable staff for food and coffee. Beautiful roasted coffee all around the cafe and friendly staff explained each coffee beans taste. After visited overwhelmed high rated places earlier today, I knew this real quality cafe would make up to settle.
Sotasty
This cafe serves up the strongest coffee I've ever had. Tried the coffee here a few times and ended up RUSHING! The food is nothing special and it's priced accordingly. The staff are really nice and the service is pretty good.

Seems to be a very popular place. After a minimal wait for a table to open up, I was seated by the sunlit window. Considering how busy it was my mocha was delivered to me in a reasonable amount of time. A very nice mocha at that, nice and creamy just the way I like it. I decided to order the "hey bloke", as I felt for something hearty and filling. It was alright, the poached eggs could have been better and other than that the rest was pretty average. I probably wouldn't order that again, however I would revisit for the atmosphere, mocha and to try something else on the menu.

Miss Marie is located right near the Rosanna train station. For a small site there's quite a lot of seating indoors as well as out.<br/>We visited on a Sunday at about 11am and were lucky that someone had just left so we got a table, otherwise the place was full.<br/>Drinks: latte and almond milk hot chocolate were both ok but nothing wow.<br/><br/>For food my partner ordered the Hey Bloke with scrambled eggs and me poached eggs on toast. <br/>Both meals came out quite promptly and were very big in size. Both meals were delicious and more so like a nice homely meal. The cheese hash on the hey bloke was to die for! Both poached eggs were nice and runny and served on two pieces of toast. I liked how the butter was put on the side of the plate rather than straight on the toast.<br/><br/>Overall great experience, we will be back for another visit šŸ˜Š<br/>

I am a bit conflicted about this place. The fit out is great, and has a lovely atmosphere. Overall the staff were okay, depending on which waitress came to the table. There didn't seem to be a lot of communication between staff as one waitress carried one coffee to our table and then a different waitress followed about 30 seconds later (they were take away cups and not hard to carry). The food was okay but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately it is not somewhere l would return to, and it definitely didn't impress my out of town friend.
Mrs Mark
I was hoping for big things at this cafe given the excellent ratings but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. I had the eggs Benedict. Pro: generous portion size, speedy and friendly service. Con: dish was drowning in hollandaise sauce, couldn't taste anything else.

I could like this place .....<br/><br/>Must revisit soon, a bit hidden, not on the main drag of Rosanna.<br/><br/>Pleasant and inviting rustic interior set up, outdoor and indoor dining area, very quick and attentive service, most importantly the coffee is good; well made Latte. A combination of Five Senses coffee beans and Synesso espresso ...... they seem to be serious about their coffee.<br/><br/>Next time, more coffee and food .... thank you. JT-29/06/2017.

Waiters were very nice, forgot to put through our order which resulted in a late meal. Very apologetic though and gave us a free hot chocolate which shut her up, and discounted meal which was good. <br/>Overall good food and good service, no complaints.
Cinnamon's Food For Thought
Come for the coffee but stay for the food!!!!! I have lost count of the number of orgasmic tasting caffeinated beverages i have had at this place and today was the day i finally decided to stay for the food! #noregrets. I'd like to think of myself as a smashed avo connoisseur and this place delivers. They weren't stingy with the green stuff so thank you! We also got the fritters, which were like little deep fried balls of heaven. Can' wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
Katherine Xi Lin
Great vibe and super sweet staff! Enjoyed their brekkie porridge and yes, that's right, that's matcha latte! A big shoutout to all big matcha fans!!
Erin Pond
This is a simply gorgeous cafe. The food is excellent, and they have done a good job using their space to fit in as many tables as possible, without being over-crowded. Staff are friendly despite often being very busy. Sometimes you have to wait for a table but it's definitely worth it.
Gerd Pranoto
Excellent coffee! Serving five senses which is awesome but 2 thumbs up to the barista for making it so nice. Light, milky and not bitter with no aftertaste, just the way I like it. $4.80 for large. Definitely coming back to have some more coffee and try the breakfast. Oh, and service was great!
Maggie
Took mum here for a late breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Great vibe/decor , very cosy and comfortable. Food was delicious, coffee hit the spot too! <br/>Can't wait to go back
IloveMelbourne
After seeing the reviews I had to try this cafƩ. I ordered the smashed pumpkin. It was delicious. The goats chevre was yummy.<br/>My partner had the wagyu beef burger. He said it was tasty but a bit messy. Coffee is perfect. Staff were attentive and friendly.
Wade Short
My wife's selection, which this time she has come through with an outstanding place. We both had a midday breakfast, corn fritters and she had smashed avocado, both were exceptional, attention to detail and quality of every component of the produce was on par with the best I've ever seen.<br/><br/>Coffee was excellently and expertly prepared and the service was great, right from being greeted by a busy barrista the moment we set foot inside, even if you have to wait for a table, it's worth the wait. Congratulations on a great all round experience, plus you've got a great design eye too!
Irregular Joe
Tasty coffee and food. Mix of traditional and unique menu options. Each (breakfast) meal I've tried has been tasty. Very popular cafe with plenty of seating. I've never waited very long for service, a coffee or a meal, even when it's flat out. Was only going to rate it 4.5 but considering everything I just wrote, how can I...? 5 stars.
Gourmet Explorer
It's a small busy cafe. The environment is nice. The food are well presented. The salary is fresh and mixed with the right vegetable. The coffee is strong.
Phillip
Great cafe at a perfect location, really enjoyed the interior design of the cafe :) I ordered a take away latte (had college lectures to attend, what a shame); The cafe only does a one size take away, which is a small, they also don't do syrup shots. I enjoy my vanilla lattes :( Apart from that 2, the coffee taste pretty nice.<br/><br/>Also bought a Banana, Chocolate & Walnut Muffin, definitely try it out, because it's pretty good!<br/>
MelbourneFoodie
My partner and I went here for the first time today and the food was amazing! Good value and delicious. We are moving into the area next week and we will definitely be making this our local.
Tomellis271
Easily the best cafe for miles around. Try the super salad for breakfast. It's a great healthy start to a day and the coffee is all that Melbourne is about.
Angi McAuley
Coffee is good but not great and really annoying that they only do one size for take away coffee - small! <br/>The place is always busy and not enough seating. <br/>
Rob
These guys never disappoint! Coffee and food consistently good. Service always friendly. The lines out the door are a sign of how good Miss Marie is! Good luck to the Miss Marie team with their latest setup The A Team in Watsonia!
Iorderedit
I love this place, the food is amazing and excellent coffee. Small suggestion, maybe the wait staff could write down our order. 3 visits in a row they got the order wrong. Twice with the coffee order and once the food, and then seem "miffed" when this is pointed out.
Jessicaaaa
Busy but beautiful little cafe. Interior design is just to my taste - industrial with plenty of natural materials and steel. Coffee is consistently great. Food is wonderful - the veg breakfast is easily the best breakfast meal I've ever had - fresh, light and packed with flavour, whilst still feeling healthy.

Miss marie cafe is my favourite place to relax after a hard day at the university working with numerous animals (Norway rats!). The food is amazing, service is exceptional, especially kate, who always greets us with the brightest smiles and gives great advice about menu selections. I'd recommend miss marie to anyone who's looking for a brunch spot with friends or family!

This place is tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of inner city cafes. Really cute cafe in the suburbs. <br/>Had the smashed avo which was enjoyable and very generous serving. One of the better ones I've had. The coffee was also good.
Kat
Double espresso was beautiful (I think the Ethiopian?), solid coffee skills guys. I had the pumpkin smash which was lovely although not v filling, partner had the Spanish omelette special and said it was good. Gorgeous little space, and the cakes are awesome (multiple gf options!!!)
Sally
Lovely place and amazing coffee and service. The coffee is great, I do ask for it a little hotter. We ordered the smash avo and miss Benedict. The smashed avo was good, only thing they could improve is it came with 1 poached egg and 2 pieces of toast. The Miss Benedict was good and so was the berry smoothie. Their muffins are also very good.
Sharonb1966
Well presented delicious food, friendly helpful staff. Beautiful breakfast & lunch menu and great coffee . New favourite cafe wish we lived closer!

There's just something so satisfying about taking a leisurely late breakfast and watching people crowd around the door waiting for a table. It's horrible for those shifting from foot to foot, eyes tracing circles as the follow the wait staff around the room... Are they leaving?! No...<br/><br/>Aside from the theatre of people watching, there's a damn good reason why you should try to get to Miss Marie just north of the train station in Rosanna. Actually, there are two, no, no make that three.<br/><br/>One, the coffee. Velvety smooth and rich, well made and strong, just the thing to get your brain going and start the rumble in your stomach as you look at the menu.<br/><br/>Two, the staff. Friendly, accomplished professionals who do not crowd or fawn, but are available when you need them and serve you with a bright friendly and competent ease.<br/><br/>Three, the food. I love an all day breakfast, and with mushrooms close to the quality of Smith and Daughters, juicy and spicy chorizo sausage and perfectly poached eggs, somehow without the vinegar after-taste and 'I made this in a plastic bag' look. Ever the house hollandaise is magnificent, and you can't beat a home made rƶsti. Even if the vegetarian options are limited my beloved still found sufficient fare to sate her palate easily.<br/><br/>No, the only thing that detracts from the food drink and service is the noise. A few ceiling by baffles would go a long way to cutting down the din as sound bounces off naked walls and concrete floors.<br/><br/>The best bit though? Two coffees and breakfast down, four groups looking for table space and elbowing for prime position and the waitress asks... 'Would you like to have some cake to finish? They're gluten free, take your time.'<br/><br/>We did... as should you. Lovely.
Jenna
I visit this great cafe most weeks after a morning's tennis and nearly always have their superfood salad. It is delicious and usually very consistent. Perhaps there was a different chef on yesterday, but I was very disappointed in my meal. The salad had far too much undercooked quinoa and very little corn, carrot & almonds. The thinly sliced raw beetroot, snow pea shoots and fresh lime were absent and my side of avocado which is usually a half avocado was instead a few very thin slices. I hope that this was a one off - will be disappointed to lose the best superfood salad in Melbourne šŸ˜•
Miss.foodie
Very nice alway consistent and has a great atmosphere! Staff are nice and you feel very welcomed :) coffee is hot and tasty, also consistent!

Really cute place hidden away in Rosanna. ALL the staff were very friendly and accomodating and my meal was absolutely beautiful. Had the pumpkin smash with poached eggs and it was both savoury and slightly sweet as well as the golden latte which was spot on. Very happy.

Love love love this busy little place! Can't fault it really. Great simple meals well presented with a modern twist. Coffees are the better side of decent. If you are in the area it's one to try!

My best friend is gluten free and we needed somewhere local to have brunch. I saw the great previous reviews and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all. Service was outstanding, the food was beautiful and left happy and full!!!

Miss Marie in Rosanna is a great spot for brunch on the weekends.Ā  Best cafe in the area. We have always enjoy the food and the coffee here.

Great atmosphere, really good food. Very fast service considering how busy they were. Will definatly come back. Love the decorƩ of this little cafe really cool and a little bit hipster which is not a bad thing :)

Tiny bit pricy, however good ingredients. I had the pork belly burger was really nice. Nice bun. Very younger looking waitress drops the food on the table & appeared very annoyed when asking burger to cut in half when we ordered. Nice ambiance. Overall rating 4*

Went here for the first time today for brunch after reading the positive reviews - we were not disappointed! <br/><br/>At first glance we thought the wait for a table would be astronomical after seeing the line of people waiting inside. Turns out that was the line for the take away coffee - it's certainly popular! We were able to be seated straight away even when the place was packed on a Sunday morning.<br/><br/>Staff were exceptional, very attentive and friendly. Our coffee's arrived promptly which was an unexpected surprise considering how busy the place was. Coffee was terrific, however one downside was the inability to order a large coffee in a mug as they only have 1 size cup. <br/><br/>Food was delicious, fruit toast actually had a decent amount of fruit scattered throughout rather than the 1-2 measly sultanas you get at other cafes. My friend had the smashed pumpkin which she thoroughly enjoyed. <br/><br/>This place has a really great vibe, a bit hipster but not too much so. I will 100% be returning to Miss Marie's again. šŸ‘

Miss Maree is a great local spot. I have just moved to the area and am super pleased to have such a good local cafe. Staff are friendly and coffee is great.

Always a great local cafe. Food is always very tasty. The kids just love the pancakes.......Yum! Great coffee too! Variety of meals on the menu.

Great food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Also had a great selection of homemade sweets and boutique coffees. Would definitely go back to this local spot! <br/>

Very homely cafe - friendly service, good coffee, and tasty dishes. I had the oat and chia porridge which came with rhubarbs, apples, cinnamon, mixed granola, and coyo (special yogurt). It was delicious! Nice and hot, lots of flavour, and a good quantity. It reminded me of an old school type of porridge: nothing fancy; just simple ingredients mixed well together. Obviously, there is a lot of competition for brunch now, and although Miss Marie may not be the 'best' cafe in Melbourne; it is by all means a reliable and trendy cafe, and I would not have any hesitation in recommending it.

Lovely food that is significantly let down by service. I ordered a BLAT and a pot of tea. By the time the tea arrived (after my food arrived) it was cold.

Staying in Roseanna for a few days after doing a house swap with friends who are staying in our house in Woolamai. Lovely cafe on a cold morning. Great coffee and unpretentious staff. Almond croissants delicious. Lots of locals who were greeted by name.

Impressive. Always busy and staff are awesome, friendly and welcoming. Ā I have been to many places in the area and Miss Marie is the busiest I have been to, Sometimes people are lined up to get a seat. Shows how good the place is. Never had an issue, food has always been delicious and never had to wait long for a meal. Even with the place full. Ā Can get loud in there but still easy to have a conversation. Great big table at back for bigger groups and work meetings. Also great for people to share and meet other people.

I have heard greatĀ things aboutĀ Miss Marie from all the locals so I thought I would try it.First time I got a takeaway toasted cheese and tomato sandwich and a short black coffee , which was great. Went back on a Sunday morning for brunch, Ā we had to wait 25 minutes but the food again was great but this time the service was not and neither was the coffee with lack of crĆØme.Waitress who brought our food was very inattentive and rude. Good food is great but bad service leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Not too sure if I'd go back.

Such a great cafe. As soon as we entered we were greated and although we had a short wait for a table it was well worth it. The staff are so attentive and the food was spot on! I will certainly be coming back!

Returned today to this gem of a cafe, with several curious friends in tow. All were thoroughly impressed by the menu, the atmosphere and the value for money. Got the Hey Bloke this time, and was pleasantly surprised by the hearty serving size. Waitress Kate was lovely as usual and patiently dealt with all our requests. We can't wait to return!

Just had brunch in this establishment and couldn't fault it in any way. It was a belated Mother's Day brunch and myself and the boys (hubby and son) all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I'll start with the most critical component that makes a great cafe, the coffee! Miss Marie's blend is excellent, with plenty of body. Great you have a choice of blends also. The food was delicious too, the boys went with 'Hey Dude' (of course they did), and I opted for the 'Vego'. Quality ingredients and generous servings. The staff were without exception very attentive and friendly. You get all the benefits of a trendy inner suburban cafe at Miss Marie's without the pretence. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait on a table, but the turnover is such it won't be long! Great to see such quality in my own backyard. Recommended.
On Sunday We Brunch
I am so sad to write this review! We have been to miss marie several times before, and absolutely love their coffee. I was really looking forward to having breakfast there today but sadly the service was so terrible I don't think I'll be back. We waited about 10mins for a table - pretty standard for a Sunday morning in Melbourne. After placing our order, we had still not received our food some 45 minutes later - despite groups arriving after us and being served and finishing their meals before we had received ours. I spoke to the waitress who was quite apologetic, saying that our order had been lost, and we ended up getting our food about 15minutes later - 1 hour after we had ordered. Sadly the food wasn't worth the wait and up to usual standards, and my smashed avocado was defiantly lacking some love! When time to pay we were not offered any concessions, and when we asked if there was any discount for their mistake of loosing our order, was met with a blank stare from the front of house staff, who then became argumentative when we questioned further. Incredibly dissapointed by such horrible service.

Being a inner city gal, love my coffee. Was so pleased to find a place in the outer suburbs that does a good coffee and had that inner city quirky vibe.

Rosanna enters Melbourne's great cafe/breakfast/brunch scene with this cafe (thankfully without perturbable in-your-face hipster arrogance) which is a welcome addition in the outer north area previously lacking in eclectic eateries.<br/>I ordered the Moroccan Burger and was thoroughly impressed. The Ricotta Hotcake also garnered rave reviews and looked divine.<br/>Service was friendly and warm. It can get busy and staff may forget a thing or two, but that is quite understandable.<br/>Bravo!

Amazing coffee, amazing breakfast and amazing selection of cakes. My wife and I come here quite often to treat ourselves to a delicious breakfast. I love the coffee here and my wife loves the Chai latte's. The food itself is always fantastic and you get a lot of it. I always opt for the Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and smoked salmon. The mushrooms are very moorish, thankfully they give you a lot, the eggs are always perfectly cooked and the hollandaise sauce is one of the best I've had. As for the ambiance of the place, well it's like any groovy kind of cafe, nothing really unique about it but it's nice and open, bright and inviting. The staff are always super friendly and the food comes out quick despite how busy they always seem to be. Can't wait till next time!

Miss Marie is my local cafe and a favourite of mine for years. I took my boyfriend for breakfast today and we were not disappointed. Not that I expected to be. <br/><br/>There service is always fast and friendly and the food at top quality. I ordered the 'ricotta hot cakes' (a dish I have chosen a few times) with an almond/coconut milk latte. The hot cakes were delicious and exactly like last time. My boyfriend ordered the 'hey bloke' eggs, bacon, chorizo, potato crush, tomato relish. He loved it!<br/><br/>If you want a cafe with a great atmosphere, in a great location, great staff and consistently good food and coffee every time you go. Stop by Miss Marie in Rosanna. You won't be disappointed!! <br/>

Got served by Kate on Sunday, would come again just for her service. Her smile made us feel very welcome! <br/>Food and atmosphere was great. Price is reasonable.

This cafe has a good menu and range of sweets at the counter. I ordered the bircher which was ok but lacked a bit of flavour but the chai latte was very nice. It also gets very busy on the weekend especially late sunday morning.
Coffee And Food Enthusiast.
Food was tasty and fresh. My fruit bread was a bit on the small side but was made up with its distinct tasty flavour. My partner loved her salad, the dessert with the lemon curd on top was perfect... Perfect! I've tried many many lemon curd in my time and so many places get it wrong, not this place... The recipe should be locked away in France somewhere. The brownie was a bit too rich for me, but this is why I usually stay away from them, my partner finished it so she must have enjoyed it. Give this place a go if you're in the area, its probably even worth a hike.

A perfect spot for brunch. Would recommend to anyone - easily the best cafe I've been to at this end of the city. The coffee is the best I've had in the area (by a long stretch). We ordered the smashed avocado and the 'hey bloke', both of which were fantastic. It is well priced for the quality they offer and their portion sizes are generous. Will definitely be back.

This place is almost the perfect brunch spot. Have been here a few times and always have a great meal. The eggs benedict and the big breakfast are both fantastic. And this place is also very reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend to others

After waiting 25 minutes for a table I was getting ready to leave this place a bad review but the food was actually great. Everything was a reasonable portion with slightly above normal prices. The pork belly added to my vege breakfast was deliciously crackling-y and the pancakes also looked moist and fluffy. <br/>Apart from the fact that they "don't do mugs" which is universal speak for " we want to to pay more for less" and waiting so long for a table this place was ok.
Duty Manager
This cafe has got a great atmosphere and i love the way they have decorated it inside. Feels very 'homely'. I have always been served nice food and despite how busy it is, the wait has never been too long. The only problem i have is the coffee; I find it is really hit and miss. There are times when it's been too bitter to drink let alone enjoy. As a local, i would go more if the coffee was consistently good.
Hannah
Love the food here, service is great and they're very kid friendly. The coffee, however, can be hit and miss. When it's good, it's very good but when it's bad it is undrinkable.
Alisia
Great little cafe with reasonably priced, fresh and enticing options. Food is consistently good and the staff are friendly. Tried the Super Salad today and it was delicious. The specials always sound attractive too.
