San churros is always my favourite place to go for dessert, especially because they have discounts on unidays and it’s always filling... my favourite sauce is the cookie butter (and also the salted caramel).
If you have a craving for dessert look no further than San Churro!
They have a delicious new variety of vegan options on the menu! You can dip your churros into milk chocolate, dark chocolate and cookie butter crunch.
I tried a white choc milk shake and the churros with milk chocolate and cookie butter crunch dipping sauces.
Cookie butter crunch dipping sauce is a MUST try! Can’t wait to try all the other menu options.
Well done to San Churro on providing a truly fantastic range of vegan choices.
Not a token menu item but instead an extensive range. Something for everyone!
We stopped here to have coffee. I’m always tempted to have the churros. But we had only coffee which was nice. The chocolate bits at the top instead of using chocolate powder made it taste very chocolaty which was nice. It’s got lots of tables both outdoors and indoors on the beautiful Lygon Street.
Love it! I came here twice during my holiday in last April. I ordered fruits churros (with strawberry and banana) with spanish hazelnut and milk chocolate at the first visit and only churros woth chocolates at the second visit, and it was very good. The first visit was handled by friendly girl, but the second time was handled by not so friendly man. Overall still satisfy with their churros and the chocolates
San Churro's does nice churros and desserts. The churros are well fried, thin and crispy - the kind I would happily buy at any carnival stand. The problem is they're asking for almost $3 per churro, which frankly I think is quite overpriced. That said, it is difficult to find carnival stall churros that are of this quality, so I think it is still the place to go for good churros. I often have their sundaes which are decadent and filling.
This branch is located amidst busy Lygon street, so there is a healthy bustle along the street. Worth a try for some decadent desserts.
Ordered the churros for two - with milk chocolate and white chocolate dipping sauce. The churros were crunchy and warm, coated in icing sugar. It tastes great with the milk and white chocolate sauce. The mocha was a really good blend of chocolate and coffee. One of the best mochas around.
Located in the middle of a food street and it's easy to miss unless you're looking for it. Moderate ambience compared to the levels they're usually accustomed to. Got ourselves the cookie smasheo and it never disappoints. Highly recommended!
Spanish hot chocolate, churros and more melted chocolate - San Churro is a sweetly sinful delight for any chocolate lover. I haven't been here in awhile but for any visitors to Melbourne coming for the first time, a visit to San Churro (with locations everywhere) is a great pit stop to sample a sweet treat.
😱Lizzie’s first impression: The only place in Melbourne I trust will make my churros perfect every time.
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: I love the churros for two - it is the perfect amount and comes with two sauces.
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: N/A
🥇Lizzie rates overall: A great place for dessert.

If you have a sweet tooth, and love Spanish dessert then this is the place I would recommend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my warm cappuccino with Spanish churros. A perfect place to treat yourself with something sweet.
After having food from Ziyka Restaurant always have desserts for San Churro. The staffs was so good and nice. Overall the churros was nice and also trying their Creme Brulee. It’s always a nice place to visit and enjoy dessert. Recommend.
The guy behind the counter was actually super nice and was really helpful. If you’re in the mood for a sugar overload, this place has some nice outdoor seating and heaps of options to satisfy your cravings. I recommend trying out the dark hot chocolate, it is still sweet af but delicious nevertheless. Also, the decorations inside are some cool antiques.
Had a lovely afternoon tea with some friends here. The gentleman who served us was very kind and helpful, as well as very quick with our delicious churros! Was also easy to add the Unidays $10 promo, which my friends and I really appreciated. Thank you!
Service was a bit slow, but dessert and coffee were great
