Love a place that, although half an hour from closing, will still serve you a dine-in coffee, and in a ceramic cup. None of this serving in takeaway cups only business. Service is excellent, and the coffee is great.

The Dear Luncher likes their coffee and also finds that their foodstuffs are varied enough to keep you interested, and well-priced enough to ensure you’re not breaking the bank.
The Southern Fried chicken roti is one of the better roti’s going around and it's a good value lunch option at $10. Now look, it’s probably a lunch option they don’t make in-house this one, but let’s just pretend someone hand-crafted it with love.

A nice cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Came here for a coffee. The chai latte is wellmade and smoothe. The egg and bacon roti wrap was nicely toasted with scrambled eggs. Nice seating and staff.
I went here early morning after finishing a shift and I was craving some good coffee. I usually order a mocha at other places, but I didn’t see that on the menu, so went for the Hot Chocolate, and I wasn’t disappointed at all! I ordered the large size and it was yum! I ordered another small cup with a side of hash brown, because I loved it! Would definitely come back here for it!
Good coffee which achieves the balance of being strong without being too bitter. The large is good value for $4.20. The staff are friendly and the service was quick.
Always had a good meal here, my eggs are always cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly, coffee is above average.
I particularly like the mushroom medley if you’re eating in, but take away would be the breakfast burrito or the spinach/mushroom/scrambled egg roti and the Bircher muesli. Good way to start the day.
Getting my step counts up today I stopped off the train at Flagstaff and walked right passed Brewers Place on my way to Dockers. There is a whole unexplored laneway here so I took up the opportunity see what was on offer. Brewers place has a sleek breakfast service going on with a good coffee turnaround time and plenty of staff on hand. I opted for the breakfast burrito/ coffee combo and while I waited observed some tasty items being delivered to tables.
My coffee was ok but no super strong but I really enjoyed the spicy beans / egg combo in the burrito. An excellent and filling choice for breakfast. They have fancy cold drip coffee and a range of lunchtime specials so I could easily see myself coming back the next time I need my steps up.

I haven't had more perfectly cooked eggs in A VERYY long time! I walked out of Brewers place so full and so happy with my meal!

Coffee was definitely above average but not one of those coffees you'd want to drink everyday. For the price, the coffee is totally worth it.
Probably the friendliest service I've experienced in the CBD - the staff there have always been awesome! Food is great and quick and heaps of gf options and they're accomodating to other dietary requirements. Risotto and avo on toast are my preferences. Excellent hot choc too.
Good neighbourhood cafe with plenty of outdoor seating. It is one of the cheapest cafes in the area. Good coffee, mocha and the food is also good. I've had the breakfast burrito which is very good and fulfilling, it can definitely feed two people. The roti wraps were also nice.
Amazing experience!! I went here with my partners family looking for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. Fantastic breakfast, all 6 of us were extremely happy with our meals. The waitress with blue hair was absolutely lovely and so was the barista. I asked for hot sauce and they actually bought it for me, I can’t believe how nice that was. Thank you so much guys 💗
This place is awesome! Good coffee, tasty food and friendly staff. My boyfriend and I were in Melbourne for 4 days on holidays and we had brunch here twice!! Reasonable prices as well. I highly recommend it.

Let me start by saying this place has great service and amazing food. My partner and I were staying in Melbourne for the week and wanted to try out as many different food joints as we could. This by far was the best one. We were struggling to find a place that served good tea and we were starting to loose hope but managed to find this gem by accident. We will be very happy to come back if we travel to Melbourne again. This place gave us a very homely vibe and we could not floor it!
A definite must do!! Food exceptionally tasty, well presented and great choices for brunch. Chilled and clean setting. Service AAA plus thank you!
