Regular lunch place during work days. Tried the salmon sandwich, bacon cheese and egg muffins, hamburger with chips and open souvlaki. They were all great and I especially love the open souvlaki. The meat was really flavoursome and pitabread was nice and fluffy.
A chicken souvlaki, chips and a drink for $15!!! in the city...? that's heaps and good value!! tell me can you even get these prices in the burbs? great food at very good prices!!
This place was so crazy busy at 12.30pm with the office lunch time crowd.
Food is cooked to order so expect to be waiting around but with the Mealpal app I was able to jump the queue and collect my pre odered meal. This ensured I could go for a quick walk to pick up my lunch and know that I have enough time to get back to my office and attend a meeting too.
This place offered old school cheese burgers served in a hamburger bun (nothing posh like brioche hehehe) with a side of chips this was great take away meal and hit the mark for a naughty lunch day!!
I got two slices here from an extremely friendly server. One was a caramel slice, which oddly had coconut in the base. The other slice was a peppermint brownie, which perhaps was a little stale. Each slice was a good portion, well priced, and contained that vital hit of afternoon sugar.
this place is located next to Sofitel in a food court area. I like their coffees and the service is always great. the food is good, not amazing but good enough if you need something filling and quick to eat. the variety is huge, they serve everything from roasts to sandwiches to sausage rolls. Will
The best city lunch experience. The food is delicious and the staff provide exceptional service and often go above and beyond
Not great, but at least it was open on a weekend. I will be SO glad when my fancy Italian-made espresso machine comes back from the repair shop. That way I can make my own, instead of stomping around the coffee desert that is Melbourne's CBD on weekends. I wound up at Roozervelt's because the other two or three cafes I had my eyes on were shut on Saturday, because they only cater to the cubicle crowd. At least a shopping precinct like Collins place is cooking. The mug of flat white I had from here was serviceable, microfoamed more like a cappuccino than Australia's iconic coffee style, a bit flat-tasting. It was enough to ward off caffeine withdrawal, though. The Rocky Road slice I got was kind of deceptive. The way they're arranged sitting next to each other in the display case, it looks like you're going to get a large one for $4 (which is a dollar more than Michel's Patisserie charges.) When you're served, it's the standard-sized slice. It was good, though, thick chocolate layer on the bottom. Roozervelt's serves a surprisingly large range of items for a food court lunch counter, so maybe their other stuff is better. At least they satisfied my need for speed, which is why I give them a thumb's-up vote.
Fantaatic food and great customer service , I have been there a few times and the food is Fantaatic , working in the city and having a limited lunch break this place is the best to grab good and quick food at a reasonable place I redommend the toasted breads and wraps , 10/10 guys fantastic !!
Roozervelts cafe has the most outstanding food and service in the intire complex of Collins place. The tastiest food and amazing coffee. Iv been going to the same cafe for over 20years and the quality of the food and service just keeps on getting better and better. Family orientated and I always leave feeling satisfied. I highly recommend roozervelts!!!!! I don't know where that ignorant man got his food from, he clearly doesn't know a great meal and service until it slaps him in the face! ^^
