Positive experience in line with Nando expectations.
I did feel the chicken fillets had somewhat diminished in size though.

Hygiene of the place is appalling. Tables were not wiped and precious customer’s plates and left over was left on the table. Even when our food has arrived we had to request for the table to be cleaned.
Clearly under staffed restaurant. Food quality was …. Worst Mandi’s experience ever…..

Love Nando’s but I definitely will not come back to this restaurant.

I have been to plenty of Nando’s stores and this one takes the cake! Was served by a warm, welcoming and kind manager. Usually I have to argue about getting my burger in a wrap but wasn’t a problem here. Food was incredible and fast service, definitely recommend!

I got seriously large fries. the quality was terrible. the color of the fries was a strange dark brown and I could tell the oil is so old. had to throw it away. will never buy from them again

A good Nando's restaurant. Well prepared chicken. Chips were nicely done. Helpful staff when we took home food we hadn't eaten. Recommended.

Extremely poor dine- in experience. The owner didn’t want to turn on air-cooler to save costs and the place smelled like sewage.
We someone managed to bear the stench as we were tired from all the walking. But to our dismay poorly cooked chicken and missing out on side orders left us in bad spirits. Trust me you better off to go and eat elsewhere other than this place.

The place was quite nice with a good amount of seats available. The staffs were all really nice and my food didn't take long.<br/><br/>I got the salad and it was good in terms of freshness and flavour although I definitely think the portion was a bit sad for the price as it wasn't filling. I also think it needs more sauce, though i did add more on the counter, the balsamic vinegar sauce was yummy.<br/><br/>( follow for more! 💓)<br/><br/>ｘｘ，ｊｏｅｌｌｅ.

First things first- the place smelled of sewarage waste and there were ants and flies on the table. The tables were not being cleaned as customers were leaving. My pita was half empty and missing ingredients (no herbed yogurt, tiny chicken breast) and I asked for no tomatoes... but ofcourse was served with 2 big slices of it. What made me write this review, however, was that I saw a customer complain and the owner or manager yelled and argued with her in front of all other dining customers.

Just your casual Nando’s in the city on Bourke Street.<br/>As a regular, I ordered the Class wrap and added a fried egg into it.<br/>The wrap is very delicious, beautiful flavours through the chicken and fillings are actually filled to the top!<br/>Lemon and herb seasoning is delicious and my go to basting sauce!!<br/>Don’t mind my byo Midori 🤣

3.5. got two quick takeaway classic wraps before a magic show tonight and my mild sauce wrap tasted like a mayo one instead with heaps of mayo and not enough Peri Peri sauce. The chicken was really tender and lean though. Took a bit long to get my order even tho there wasn't many customers waiting.

The new look of this place after the renovation gives it a very fresh and nice feel.<br/>The service provided by Victor and his staff is always amazing, adding to the friendly atmosphere.<br/>Food served at lunch is always fresh and something to look forward to.

I used to think that all Nando’s were just a repeat of another. Same menu, same sauces. What sets the Bourke St store apart from the pack is the staff. Always great service led by an efficient manager

As Nando's locations go, this one is well run and very clean.<br/><br/>However, I've been going to Nando's since it opened in Australia, and my main gripe is that Nando's as a chain has fallen very far from what it used to be. The chicken they now serve is a pale shadow of what it used to be: my suspicion is at some point a while ago, they moved to a process where their chickens are pre-cooked a lot more to reduce grill time, and they went with a lower cost supplier with smaller birds. The spicy peri peri is also notably less hot and flavourful than it used to be. The result is chicken that just isn't the delicious, smoky spice bomb it used to be, while prices have increased. It simply is no longer competitive as a fast food option, and the food isn't good enough to justify the premium price tag.<br/><br/>The only upside is the XXX hot sauce they have in bottles is really good if you're a spice lover, and the"paella", which is more of a chicken rice bowl than paella, is a good alternative to just straight chicken.<br/><br/>I used to go to Nando's a couple times a month, but now it's only an option of last resort.

Great Nando's. Friendly, efficient service. Loads of seating. I always order the same meal, the 4 x grilled thighs (hot) and peri-peri chips. This meal was the best version yet at this store. Really well char-grilled with the right amount of sauce. I only wish they would have tap water freely available. There were two glasses (for the whole shop?) and not a bottle of water in sight. No, I don't want my dish in a "meal" and purchase a drink I don't want. Stop being so tight and have bottles of tap water for your customers.

STAY AWAY. I am a nandos regular and visited this particular one during a trip to Melbourne. Not only did they forgot to include the additional chicken breast in my supremo wrap (fine, they forgot to charge me for it as well it turns out), the normal serving was barely enough to feed a goldfish. By far the poorest nandos I have been to and I have been to many.<br/><br/>Also, the Paella comes in a super small box which seems to be unique to this restaurant!!

Not much on the plate!. Very expensive chicken ! Ordered a quarter chicken and coleslaw. What came out was a drumstick and a soggy tiny bowl of coleslaw. When I asked the waitress that they got my order wrong and that I had ordered a quarter not a drumstick, she smiled and said, no that's our quarters! So I left very hungry and went to a coffee shop down the road. Will never go back.
