Such a great cozy place with delicious food!
Love how the portion was worth the price as well.
The chicken karaage and tempura were so crispy, takoyaki had the perfect taste and texture, and the unagi was so flavorful!
I'm just searching for food to eat on zomato, then i found this restaurant and interested to try. I tried the chicken kaarage don and i really love it! Its crispy on the outside and soft on the inside makes it on point! 👍🏻 the salad are freshly made, the seasoning and mayonnaise are tasty, the rice is soft and sticky which is the way i like it, don't forget the eggs ❤️ the only thing is that the seats are not that comfortable since i was sitting on the bar table near the front door, but overall it is worth to try.
價格算平價,拉麵湯底很濃
炸雞很好吃,,另外給朋友外帶的
章魚燒跟煎餃也很好吃
I reckon this place does better side dishes than ramen.
Tried the karaage chicken it was so crispy on the out and juicy on the in.
The gyoza was one of the best I have had. Sooo juicy and lovely filling. The dough is very thin.
It was an enjoyable dining experience and all staff was friendly.
Really good ramen. The tonkatsu broth was rich and full of collagen. You order via an ipad and what I love is that you can pick the hardness of your noodles which is great. Serving size was a bit on the smaller side but I found it the right amount (I don't always want to end up in food coma). Chashu was delicious and that ajitsuke tamago (egg) is one of the best in Melbourne. Service was friendly however they forgot one of the ramens so by the time it came everyone had finished their bowl. Good prices starting at $13.50 for a regular bowl of tonkatsu ramen.
I would definitely come back

Ordered the Tantanmen with spicy level 1. Simply awesome. The broth is light and flavoursome and the noodle was the right texture. The fried onions and other seasonings all balanced the ramen very well. The flavoured egg was wonderful. I think I have found my new favourite ramen bar.
Hakoya Ramen is a Japanese restaurant that serves a variety of ramen and rice dishes. We came here on a weekday night. The restaurant is extremely popular due to opening late (I think they close at 12pm). It was around 10:30pm when we arrived and there were people everywhere.
The inside of the restaurant looked like one of the small ramen joints you’ll see in Japan. There’s tables on the side and stool seats facing an open kitchen. They use iPads for ordering. We decided to get the signature ramen (Tonkotsu) combo which included their popular korean styled fried popcorn chicken dish and a canned drink.
The popcorn chicken came out first and it was a delight to eat. They were crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside and went perfectly with the mayonnaise provided. What was a bummer was the super thin sliced of lemon. They should definitely give people a larger slice. You couldn’t even squeeze the damn thing!
The ramen came out next. My first impression of the ramen was that the broth looked extremely oily but after taking a spoonful, the broth was actually really good! Don’t judge a book by it’s cover… I really liked the way they cooked the noodles. It wasn’t too firm nor was it too soft. Just the way I like it. The broth was nice as well. It’s one of those broth where you can still drink it after. It’s not too fatty nor salty. The egg was cooked perfectly! The biggest letdown was the pork which was kind of tough but it wasn’t too bad. I can forgive it.
Overall, I reccomend coming here. I know it’s not as popular as the other bigger ramen franchises around Melbourne but it’s defs worth trying out.
Absolutely delicious. We had a craving and this place seriously fit the bill. Delicious food and lovely staff. Really speedy and authentic Korean deliciousness. We will be back!

Recommendation:
If you like dry noodles, Mazemen in this joint is amazing. It is very light but tasteful, quite refreshing and also filling. It is a bonus if you also like garlic chives.
The add-ons are also quite affordable as well.
Beware: The Tonkotsu soup base is unbelievably and unworldly creamy. Some really love that but some may find it too thick.
Entree and side-dishes taste alright.

Hakoya ramen is a cosy japanese ramen restaurant near where I lived. The service is friendly and attentive.
While the food is generally good, I would prefer the ramen broth to be stronger tasting. But that's just my preference. Have to try their takoyaki they are really delicious.
Overall, it was a good experience. One of my regular go-to ramen place on Lonsdale St.
Went here twice - the spicy udon broth is amazing in its depth and flavour.
Kaarage curry is immaculate.
Tempura prawns are probably the best I’ve had.
This is a clean small space with cute decor, would go again.
Wow what a lovely place! We didn't have a booking and came in late. They were very accommodating and the lady serving us was super nice. We ordered our food on the iPad which was good! Food tasted awesome and the serving size was good and reasonably priced Thank you for feeding us.
Nice little Japanese eatery. Udon soup base was nice and portion good size if you are not super hungry. But limited choices on each section of menu.
the food was really delicious, and I really liked the layout of the booths. I am able to come in by myself and enjoy the food because the booths are kind of isolated and give some sense of privacy. I like how you are able to order on a screen, and the food came very quickly. The prices were very good and cheap, especially for the portion and quality given. I will recommend this to my friends.
Had the katsu don with an additional pork cutlet for only $3 extra which is a bargain. Rice was perfectly cooked, pork was tender and not dry, and the batter was soaked with the flavourful sauce still retaining some crispiness on the edges. Also had the wagyu don accompanied with an onsen egg which was perfectly cooked with a runny yolk. When served you can immediately smell the aroma of the flame seared beef, thinly sliced and very tender.
Food was tasty especially the wagyu don; also reasonably priced for the amount of toppings you get for the rice bowls. Ordering is via the touch pad and water and cutlery is already provided on the tables.
The venue was quite nice, and the food was good. Only few things I think could improve ~
I ordered Onsen Don which is seafood base Don, I’m quite happy with wasabi, however, it should supply a small dish to mix the wasabi and the soy sauce ~
Also so pity they didn’t serve any soup !
But the location and customer service were not too bad !
Overall good japanese place
Chicken karaage that I had is one of the best! The crunch and the batter is soo good
The portion could have been bigger but overall taste is good. The staffs are nice and the service is good
Located across southern cross station, this casual Japanese spot serves delicious rice bowl, bento and udon. We love their unagi don, udon katsu with cheese and the aburi salmon rice bowl. If you still have some space, their loaded bento is absolutely worth devouring
