Foxtrot Cafe is one of my local choices for great coffee & easy midweek lunch choice. Its a hidden treasure, in the back streets of Port Melbourne. The food is tasty with a few salad choices made in house, savoury pasties & frittatas are available as well as sweet treats. There is a fun energy as the staff are lovely & the decor is a bit vintage I love a bit of polka dots.
Cute little cafe hidden in the back streets of South Melbourne. Not lots of seating space. Food options looked great. Coffee was good. I had the chicken pie which looked lovely, taste wise 3.5. Will be back to try other items.

I heard from my colleagues later that they NEVER forget a name - even if you aren't a regular!

The housemade cornbread with bacon, tomato and avocado salsa and sour cream is smashing. It’s not often that you come across cornbread in Melbourne so it was a pleasant surprise finding it on the menu! Foxtrot has great coffee, friendly staff and delicious sweet treats including daily special muffins (if you’re lucky, you’ll come in on a chocolate and peanut butter day).
My fave Cafe in Melbourne!! Where to start....the staff are just so friendly and welcoming, fantastic customer service, best Almond Mocha in Melbourne AND...the sweet treat selection is to die for! The cafe has so much character and is a great spot to sit, relax, read the paper, coffee in hand with a treat from the glass cabinet (GF Brownie is a must!) or breakfast/lunch from the delicious menu.
Don't forget to try one of Betty's muffins. My top 5.....Dark Choc Espresso, Jam Donut, White Choc Passionfruit and Banana Caramel...YUM!!! Make sure you visit this little hidden gem...

As soon as I get to work in the morning and dump my stuff on my desk, I'm straight back out the door and up the street for my morning ritual - a Foxtrot caffeine hit. Their coffee is perfection and made even better by the always smiling faces of Betty and Kaiti :-) in addition to top notch beans, the sweet treats are delish (lemon slice FTW!) and the selection of breakfast and lunch options is fantastic - love their cornbread, fresh daily salads and the homemade sausage rolls. Can't speak highly enough of my favourite M-F local haunt, it's just the best!
Went to service the car this beautiful morning, and in the mean time we got a loan car to wonder the neighbourhood. We stumbled upon this cafe called Foxtrot, which looked ravishing from the outside. It was enchanting because the sun shone brightly this winter morning and I especially loved the fresh flowers hung up on the wall.
First class coffee, food and friendly service. Going to Foxtrot café for a morning coffee or lunch is a great escape from the working day. Coffee is always spot on which is made even better by the friendly nature of Betty and the crew who keep the place buzzing along and the customers happy. Food is also excellent, whether grabbing a muffin with your coffee to-go or staying in for lunch. If you are in the area I would absolutely recommend you check out Foxtrot as you will no doubt become a regular like myself!
Stumbled upon this cafe while having work done to my car. Had no expectations at all. Got talking to the owner and suddenly realised they have Thai items on their menu. The Thai Milk Tea was sensational, as was the coffee and the customer service. If you’re in the area definitely give these guys a try & get the Thai Milk Tea!! 😋

I just adore this hole in the wall gem. A great range of sandwiches etc but the specials are where it's at - so delicious! I always walk away happy and satisfied. Well priced and friendly service.
A cute little location with staff who seem happy to see you. Mainly focuses on breakfast meals but have fantastic lunch specials. Took a friend who was moving away on a lunch here to make it special and it was exactly what we needed, now I'm trying to find excuses to go back
