First time went this restaurant. Service quite good. Price was average. We ordered 2 drinks and noodles it around AUD 40. The lychee sparkling was pretty good...And the noodle was a bit spicy for me, maybe will try to order less spicy. Food portions were big...definitely will come back again !

This restaurant is surprisingly very underrated. I don’t get all the bad reviews. I had dinner there for the first time last night and I found the food to be really good. We had burning dry noodle, beef slice & ox tongue in chilli sauce and glutonious rice with brown sugar for dessert. The noodle was delicious. Beef slice was fresh and the quality of beef was better than similar dish I had in other restaurant. Dessert was lovely. Glutonious rice had nice, silky texture. Something I haven’t had in the past. Yes, service needs to be better. But overall, it was an enjoyable dinner and i will be back.

One of my favourite places to come for a casual meal. When it first opened, I was excited that I would finally have a place to have chongqing food -which I loved when I visited Chongqing. The cuisine is known to for being oily and its "numbing" spice - I like to liken it to the feeling you get when you have too much pineapple.

Today, wasn't very hungry, so I decided on the wonton in chili oil which I think is actually supposed to be a sharing dish of sorts. The wonton itself was tasty and was wrapped in plenty of wonton skin. Don't expect to be able to drink the soup however as well for one is tooped with chili oil, very spicy and leaves your tongue numbed with spice, as Chongqing cuisine is known for. The dish is a bit small and didn't leave me completely full but again, it wasn't supposed to be eaten as a main. The pork mince and chickpea noodles are very filling (lots of noodles and chickpeas!) and so are the chongqing soup noodles -just that I didn't order them this round.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the service had greatly improved from last time, waiters were very attentive and friendly and filled up my water for me when it was empty. The only thing I don't like about this place is that it always smells of cigarettes.
