Stumbled across this place when I was considering having lunch at Banoi. On second thoughts I was sort of craving pasta and so upon seeing the signage I walked in to have a look at the menu. The owner quickly came out of the kitchen to say hi and fervently recommended the pastas and I felt a bit shy to walk off so I decided to just give it a try. Ordered the pollo avocado fettuccine ($15) and it came fairly quickly and I could see him cooking as it was a transparent semi-open kitchen. It was generously portioned with huge chunks of chicken and avocado, and came with bread and olive oil & balsamic reduction. It definitely makes for a fulfilling meal. The cream sauce was a bit overly rich though, which made it difficult to finish the dish near the end. This is more based on personal preference though so some might like it more than I do. The interior of the place is brightly lit and cozy, but no one was there when I went as it was Saturday lunchtime and there is almost zero foot traffic in that area on a weekend. It is probably a lot busier on a weekday. Overall it was good enough for a quick lunch, and pricing is reasonable too.
You can't blame them. We're all just trying to make a living in this unfair society. The rich will only get richer with their premium ingredients while the poor will only get poorer because they can't afford to spend any more on better ingredients.
Today I tried Pork scaloppine. It was delicious and at a really crazy cheap price! Just 9.90 for my dinner. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.
For sure we will come back!
