Make sure you book ahead cause this place does get busy pretty quickly (cause the food is just that good 🤤) This place has terrific service, they’re constantly checking up on you to see if you’re enjoying everything 😊 and the price isn’t too bad for the amount of condiments/dishes that you get. Review:
I love food that is presented this way, with an array of changing seasonal side dishes you really can taste the freshness of each small condiment. Everything is well balanced with each other and each one is delicious in their own way. The interior is clean and sleak, vast big windows so it’s great lighting for photos! Staff are very nice and accomodating. Although some improvements can be made, the price for each set meal is quiet steep especially for the proportion you receive, although the platter looks very big the dishes since every dish is small it’s not a lot you’re getting at all. The beef curry which is one of the side dishes is flavourful, and taste like a Classical Japanese curry which brings me back to me childhood but I wish they used a more textural beef such as beef ribs so it could be slowed cook and have that succulent, soft chew to it what I received was minced beef which wasn’t too pleasant to eat. The kingfish was cut a little too think for my liking and was rather like Korean sashimi not delicate like the thin integral cuts of Japanese sashimi.
I love the service at this place- the waitress was so lovely!! They also ensure good quality hygiene by making sure that you sanitise before and after leaving, which was really good. The restaurant is very well spaced and it’s good for an intimate date!
I also really enjoyed the variety on the platter. You get to taste a bit of everything. The salmon was well seared, but not burnt. However given the price, I expected a little more. Nonetheless, definitely a place that I would recommend to other people.

❤️: Went to Torrisong and was not disappointed at all! Such a good value for money where you choose one main, but you get the whole set!
Amazing lunch deal here where you get to choose a main, and it comes with sides dishes, rice, miso soup and dessert, all for $25. Definitely worth coming back again as the dishes changes everyday, hence you can be assured of the freshest and finest quality dishes each time.
The chicken katsu and fish katsu were both fried to crisped perfection, while the meat within remained tender. The grilled salmon was delicious and fresh, and a much lighter option compared to the katsu dishes. A filling and most enjoyable meal!
I really enjoyed my lunch visit at torissong. We ordered the popular teishoku and decided to go for the salmon and chicken katsu. The presentation of the meal was incredible - so neatly organized and pleasing to the eye. I loved every element on the tray other than the peaches, which were a little mushy. The grilled salmon was succulent - the lemon wedge was a great addition and added a lovely zing - and the chicken katsu was crispy. We definitely left full and happy! Highly recommend to anyone who has been putting torissong on their hit list!
We ordered the daily set menu each. The food was plated so anaesthetically. Service and ambience was great. Everything tastes so delicious and healthy. We enjoyed the experience however found it quite expensive as the plates were small portions and we left without feeling full.

🍑 Food - we ordered the daily set menu with the grilled salmon ($25) and the ramen as well. The daily set menu was very cute and it felt very authentically Japanese with the many different small dishes available. I read previous reviews which states that the set menu was not filling for the price, however, I felt that I was quite full from it. The salmon was cooked really well and it was very soft and tender. I think that it’s quite cool that the items change daily and would visit again to try other things the chef might make. We also got the ramen which was okay, however, nothing special or amazing. In addition, we got the truffle fries (not pictured) but the truffle flavor was very subtle but still a nice side dish overall.
🍓 Service - service was just okay. Nothing exceptional, as I felt that when we walked in the waiters asked us how many people and we spotted many free tables. They then left to do other things and came back 5 minutes later, seemingly as if they had forgotten about us as they asked us again how many people before seating us. There was not a lot of friendliness or “above and beyond” type of service here as I would have potentially expected from this type of business.
🍉 Ambience - the place was fit with quite modern decor and a lot of wood surfaces. It is a nice place to visit for a casual meal, nothing too upscale but still enjoyable.
We visited Torissong a while ago, right before they changed their dinner menu. Got mixed up with their lunch and dinner menu, as I was looking forward in trying their Teishoku set. Our dinner experience was pretty good itself. We started off with truffle fries and for drinks we tried the peach chu-hai. The drink was a little bland for my liking. Highly recommend their hamachi, it was really fresh. We consequently got to try it because they ran out of tuna tataki. For mains we had the miso pork belly and chashu don. Will definitely come back and try their Teishoku set and this time, I won't get mixed up with their menus.
Had a great dining experience here, Japanese cuisines. the dishes were really delicious, nice service, friendly staff.
