The burgers here are unreal. Heaps of flavour and absolutely massive. Plus there’s vegan options which is really nice. Very chill vibe inside so it’s a good place to hang out and have a few beers.
The vegan burgers are absolutely amazing. Great flavours and the chips are real crispy. Love how its so big and fulfilling. Its a “dive in” tables arent always the cleanest and glasses.
Pretty good service. Ambience could have been better. But the food is fantastic. Ordered the vegan curry and vegan gravy loaded fries. Both were delicious. They also have great beers on tap. Generous portions of food. The daily deals are worth it. Definitely recommend for anyone who is vegan and likes a chilled out place to grab some drinks with friends.
This place rules unless you’re a sad sensitive yopro who comes straight from work and gets grumpy if the staff don’t validate your existence every 4 minutes. A Fans notes always leaves me satisfied and smiling......
$10 VEGAN parmas?? What more could you want? I'd been to Fan's before for drinks and had been meaning to eat here for ages. I've gotta say I'm not disappointed. The Parm was well balanced and tasted a bit more healthy and wholesome than other vegan varieties I've had (which tend to be heavy on the wheat gluten). It came with chips which were just okay, but I'm not a big chip fan to begin with- especially not shoestring. The accompanying side salad, on the other hand, was impressive. I was expecting just a basic, undressed cluster of leaves, so I was pleasantly surprised with a tasty and large serve of shredded green veggies with some sort of creamy vegan sauce. (What is it, guys??) Also tried my friend's vegan fish burger which I would definitely order in the future.
The food was tasty but it was so dark inside and dingy and grungy. I don't understand it.
I am sure it isn't dirty, but it kind of feels it? Anyway, the vegan food was reallllll good.

I just didnt serve him food when he was sitiing in the smoking area the deiform of nicholson cried, it just easy if we all get along!!!
But his measured words, that had brought peace to both the middle east and the feuding sex and the city members were not heard and once again he was left not caring about those cries from the outer lands.
5 stars. May this godlike being never sully himself with working a 70 hour week or have people question the veracity of his menu.

As I yearned for their fine well priced food, the coquettish name id given my partner, two thrusts, reminded me that time was important and to ready myself for an evening of compromise and disappointment. Yet this time, the undulating unctuousness of my lexicon bequethed to me by 3 terms at Xavier and a thirst for Vc andrews left me wordless as I realise I’d run out of adjectives for hot. Later, as I took the withered raisins of pump and thump in my mouth i thought, 5 stars

✔The vegan options were amazing! I had so many options for the first time!! Chose the nori burger and i was shocked as to how much it resembled fish!! The portion of chips with the burger was so much aswell! If you want value for money come here!

A place easy to get to via the 96 tram serving large affordable portions of vegan (and non vegan food) comfort food in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Lovely, friendly staff. A beautiful quaint courtyard and also a record store out the back. Free live music occasionally and events. One of my favourite spots in Melbourne.
Awesome burgers and parmas, vegan and meat options to keep everyone happy. Every time we've been the food as been super quick and always satisfies. Whenever I order gravy on my fries the chef smothers the fries with delicious pepper gravy which is all I need in this world.

The food is delicious, big, comes out quick and is great value. Casual, cosy atmosphere, feels like a local hang out, you often see the same faces in there. Decor is a bit shabby and eclectic, which just adds to the atmosphere for me. The service is fine but don't expect it to be super attentive like a fancy restaurant-it's just not that kind of place. I love it.
Update! No longer a coffee or breakfast joint, but the greatest dive that exists north of the Alexandra Pde divide. Serving up some of the best grub at an incredible price point with really excellent options for vegans and vegetarians. Not to mention the endless YouTube party featuring often brilliantly obscure (to some) music. The staff are great but take no sh*t, so just respect ya hospo team and you'll be right. Delicious food with crazy meal deals most nights of the week. Movie nights on Monday are fun. There is also a record store out the back. Beer garden under a big fig tree is nice place to sit in summer. Friendly staff.
$20 All You Can Eat Tacos rocked my world. Tasty AF tacos. Legit-sized, not the tiny ones. Kudos to the chef. Best damn tacos I've had since I moved to Melbourne.
