I picked up a large Voltage extra shot on my way to my hotel as it was much needed after a morning flight and travel into the city. The drink itself was spot on as always and was even made without the cream that I usually ask not to be put on but normally end up with elsewhere. Downside is based on its locality during the lunch rush you would think more than two people would be serving. The amount of people standing by waiting was a put off, however I was desperate for a caffeine hit. The service was still friendly though.

Consistent across the country. That’s the good think about Gloria Jeans. Although I like to support the small business operator sometimes GJ just has what you need which can even be a shorter queue. Their iced chocolate is great but I do ask for less ice. You can also grab yourself a muffin or other small sweet treat.
Staff are always good. Prices reasonable
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible.

The only Gloria Jeans' I'm aware of that has cinnamon to go on my drink to make it the nicest hot white chocolate ever! The service was pretty good too-happy on my way to the train to have a tasty drink just the way i enjoy it most!!

Seems the staff have changed and so has the service very poor customer service and the 2 girls behind the counter seem to think it's too much of a hassle to present the beverages as advertised sorry girls but if i pay extra for whip cream then guess what ! i expect to have it, also on top of that the drink was not even blended properly one bad review might not seem like much but they add up good service makes a difference won't be going back after this

-Bad customer service!
-Very obvious to tell the guy had poor -experience with making coffees!
-I'm sure that the blender needs to be used when making an iced coffee but mine was made manually, milk was just topped up on the coffee infront of me.
-Finally, a lot of whipped cream was added by the guy, which made the coffee to be spilled on the bench.

Still has really good coffee even if they no longer have the original blend. Sorry, only 3 stars now.

Very beautiful place to have a lunch and a beer looking the river. Very good service and food. A bit expensive like almost everything in australia.

Great coffee- a wonderful surprise for a chain! The beans are medium roast and have a rich flavour without the bitterness. The milk was frothed perfectly and the service was quick. The regular size is bigger than usual and is good value for $4.60.

I forgot what Gloria Jeans coffee tastes like as I've been so spoilt for choice in the city... until today! I ordered a caramel latte (i would always order this). The coffee was weak, basically served cold and over priced. Never again.

This Gloria Jeans is like a oasis in a sea of humanity. Located on one of the busiest pedestrian corners in Melbourne, it’s so relaxing compared to outside. I unfortunately wasn’t staying long just grabbing a take away coffee to go but appreciated that brief moment of tranquility.

Located at one of the busiest corners in the city. It gets super busy during the peak hours but the service quick and the staff are friendly.
Not a big fan of their coffees but I generally get their banana bread toasted with butter.

This place never disappoints me. Have had one of the best coffee experiences ever. My two hot favourites - very vanilla latte and Irish creme nut. I love the consistency, a very perfect blend of milk, coffee and sugar, perfectly suits my taste for sweetness, milkiness and flavor intensity of the coffee. Coffee, chit chatting, wonderful company of your love, a buzzing view of the Collins street makes a perfect evening after a long day's work.

This place is so handy when I want a good pick-me up to start my day. Of all the times I've been here, they're quick with handling my coffee out. Don't know whether I'm just lucky or I've been going in at times when it's not fairly busy.

The service has been always been friendly and attentive. I do have to honestly admit sometimes the coffee can be a bit bitter sometimes or way to hot to drink at first. However, their spot is just too-damn-convievent! 😂

I knew I shouldn't have. I've had coffee enough at Gloria Jean's to know that I'm not going to like it much, compared to the other choices that abound in Melbourne. But I don't have Internet service hooked up yet in the new flat I moved into, and this GJ's says it has free wi-fi. So I reckoned I'd have a mediocre coffee and save money instead of going to an Internet cafe. But the wifi connection was as spotty as the coffee. It's been a while since I experienced a 17.6 KB modem, but that's what it felt like here. And the raspberry/white chocolate muffin was dry. I reckon I experienced $4 of aggravation from being here, which negates what I economised by avoiding an Internet cafe.
