Review Flemington Kebab House - Melbourne

Hayden “Haydolicious” Marks
Took the opportunity to drop in after not have been here in years… and I’m glad I did, the chicken kebab was amazing, fresh salads, tasty bread and flavourful chicken, do yourself a favour and head in. If the kebab is anything to go by I can’t wait to have an İskender!!!

My absolute favourite dine eat place. Each and every item in their menu is absolutely scrumptious. No matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Absolute value for money. Also need to add that all the staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Will highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a really nice authentic Turkish cuisine.

Came here for the first time a week ago and have been back another 2 times since. Best falafel kebabs around as I’m vegetarian and chips are super yummy and crispy and mum, sister, brother in law and my friend loved their lamb shish kebab as well. Yummy fresh flat bread. Thanks for the friendly service to top it all off.
Peter Atkinson
Was stating at an Airbnb in the area and was looking for a good kebab. Found a fantastic kebab instead with great chips as well. Also got served very quickly as a walk in on a busy night. Highly recommend.
Mohamed Mohamed
The HSP that I got from here was top quality. The chips and meat was great and warm and the sauce had a strong flavour to it. Would come again
Vichu Ek
They have the best kebab in the town. Their bread is super fluffy and their kebabs are always mouthful. Definitely recommend it.

Best kebabs ever! Very generous serves and delicious every time! Been eating here for years!

Just received my order nice and hot! The chicken kebab and chips were tasty and fresh! Thank FKH ! 🙏🏽🌶

Love that the hsp is not oily and greasey and not drenched in so much sauce that the chips go soggy. Perfect balance of chips, sauce and meat

Will come back for:
+ Chicken Kebab

A great little local kebab joint that just does things right. Fresh baked bread, in a generous serving packed with succulent chicken pieces, well spiced with loads of fresh veg and served temperature hot. Delicious and moorish and price was reasonable for what you get. We also had the lamb kebab that was slightly oily but still good. A place worth coming back for. Staff was friendly and you really can’t ask for much more.

A local at Flemington Kebab House, the Turkish bread is super fresh and it’s only $4. The HSP is decent too possibly could have more chips but besides that flavours were on point. Be mindful it’s cash only for anything under $10..
MrMena
Tasty fresh bread made in his is what makes this place stand out from the rest. Overall, happy with my open plate, the chicken was tasty but I have had better.

Now this is what a real kebab is. They make their own Turkish bread which tastes perfect with their kebab meat. A bit expensive though. As of Taste it definitely deserves 5 stars but having no Eftpos available kills the vibe. There’s an ATM but you’ve to cross the road ( which isn’t an issue ) but C’mon guys it’s 2018. Plus parking can be a real challenge too.

What more can I say than YUM! My family and I ordered takeaway via Uber eats and the food was delivered hot. We got the mixed grill and the lahmacun and both were delicious. The portions are generous. Will definitely order again!
Karen
Best kebabs in the area. Always very generous in their portion size and the staff are always friendly. Their mixed kebabs are very tasty and the bread is always fresh. Yum!
Good Food, Good Mood
Underrated place by anyone who isn’t a local, shame it’s so far from me. We normally order a grilled meat meal ($19) which keeps 2 people full. If we’re really hungry then we also get the spinach and feta pide. Would recommend if you want a conveniently delicious food option without breaking the back pocket. Don’t expect too much from service, it’s a kebab shop... you go for the food. Bring cash because there’s no EFTPOS.
The Don
Very friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Very fast turn around. Kebab was really good and meat was very tasty. Chips were cooked well also. Highly recommended and will be back.
The Pet Roo
Food here is consistently good, ordered chicken and lamb doner with 4 dips, rice and salad with turkish bread and a bowl of chips. Everything tasted good, bread light and airy and all 4 dips being beetroot, carrot, cacik and hommus were tasty. The chips were hot and crunchy but they use to be shoestring which were sensational but now a standard cut. Excellent value for $42 between 3 people. I could not find any negatives with the food but this place is so outdated and drab and could do with a contemporary makeover as more people would dine in if the restaurant space was inviting. When it was time to pay, they would not accept our $50 note as it had a small piece missing from the top. Tried to explain it's legal tender and they are obligated to take it but they wouldn't so had to give them another note. This is not good customer service and left us very disappointed.

Never disappointed coming here, food is consistently tasty, service is always friendly (even when they’re very busy) and one time when we had to wait for our order we got a dessert on the house!
Jordan Baptista
The people that work there are ridiculously slow. My food was sitting there and ready and I waited a further 15 minutes because they were”busy doing other things” also the food isn’t that great either. There are much better kebab houses around the area
Nick
Great kebabs. Only drawback is the opening on the side of the Turkish bread that doesn't contain the filling well. Needless to say, it's a messy, but delicious feed
James Donovan
Took over 40 minutes to get 2 snack packs, one mixed and one chicken. Both came back mixed. Chips were cold and stale, meat was cold and dry, cheese wasn't able to melt.

Not one to typically complain, but this is the worst service and worst snack pack I have had.
Tastesbud
Was excited to see all the reviews. Really wanted to find authentic turkish food. Clean. Meaty. Disappointed the shishi dish was 1. Tiny portion. Compared to two other places we ate recently weeks. 2. The charcoal grilled meat tasted oily and bland (tasted cheap fast food). 3. The Turkish bread was fantastic.

Prob wont be coming back. Really wanted to try good cut, well charcoal grilled meat. But too oily too bland. We thought $18 for 8 cubes of oily meat, tiny salad wasnt worthy. Besides tastes fast food. On my hunt for the next Turkish food restaurant.
Andrew
The best kebabs iv have eaten. This place never dissapoints me. The kebabs are very large and filling. Very yummy. I usually get the normal, all salads with chicken or lamb with garlic and chilli sauce. Absolute delicious good price aswell. Im craving a kebab thinking about it now😄

This is one of the best kebab places that I've tried. The meat is very nice, its real meat, unprocessed, and nicely flavoured.
I tried the mix kebab and salad with turkish bread. The meat is very nice,
The bread, very soft, its has that elastic chewy texture which tasted extremely good.
The pide was ok, probably not a fan of that one.
I have also purchased a mix kebab in a turkish bread.
All the servings were all very generous. I left extremely full and couldn't eat another bite, a definite place for stop over.
Customer service is very friendly.
We've often walked past this place but never felt like a kebab. My cravings for kebab admittedly often occur in the wee hours of the morning after a night of drinking. This time though, I had a craving during normal business hours.

We ordered the mixed doner pack for two, takeaway. They gave it to us in a brown paper bag branded Ubereats. These bags seem to be in every restaurant and have become default takeaway bags now.

The pack came with a medium sized meat container plus garden salad and a gigantic pita bread with hummus (you can choose your own dip). The meat was very tasty (4/5), the dressing for the garden salad wasn't mixed very well so it tasted super salty at the top and tasteless at the bottom (3/5), pita bread was nice and fresh (4/5) and the hummus was creamy without feeling oily (4/5).

I also learnt from the shop owner how to say hummus ... it's more like "hoo-mus". Service was also pretty quick.
Chewynoms
Had their lamb kebab ($11 each) for takeaway.
The bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside -- way better than other kebab places I've tried. The lamb was not too dry which was great. However the kebab lacks flavour (though I asked for garlic sauce) but I fixed this by adding my own Siracha sauce. haha. The kebab was also at a smaller size when compared to other places (not an issue for me as I was pretty full after eating it).
The waiter was pretty cold towards me but was very efficient processing my order.
Overall not a bad place to have kebab. And before I forget, cash only.
David Nicolle
While the food here isn't too bad, it has gone down in quality since the original owners, the service is some of the worst I've ever had.

There's rarely an acknowledgement you're there. Your order is slow to be taken if you get to that point at all. I've walked out numerous times, when feeling like a kebab, due to being ignored by the staff even when there is no one else to be served.

Don't waste your money and go to the friendly options all along Racecourse Rd.
Tony
one of the best kebab joints I've had the pleasure of visiting in the area.
beautifully made turkish bread, fresh and oh so soft.
when you're super hungry, order an iskender meal, some hot chips, and sit by the roadside (just outside the joint) and indulge.
the servings are huge, and the meat is pretty tasty.
Giorgio Barcaiolo Battaglini
These guys know what they're doing. The kebab is awesome and they have a large choice of fancy soft drinks, last bit not least the original Turkish gazosa. I love the kavurma and the adana kebabs they do. It's always a pleasure to step in
Droo Huynh
Best kebabs in the west side. Good value for price. Im quite full after 1 kebab. Taste is addictive. Can be ordered with chips and drink to finish off the meal. Very satisfying. Will be back
Sam H
This would have to be the best kebab place in the western suburbs, took our booking at late notice and served us with great food and service.
Will
Plenty of meat which warrants the $11 price. Meat was well seasoned and tasty. Open from 11am till late, don't bother with the various kebab vans you'll find around the area, just grab one here!
Elly
Not tasty anymore. Used to be very tasty but not anymore. The owner change n the taste changed too. We go there from south east but nothing like a good kebab we used to have.
Cal
Up there with the best kebab in Melbourne, the bread is the best I've had, whilst the serving size & quality of meat is unreal, would definitely recommend.
Jase XL
Hmmmmm... Used to be one of the best kebab places around inner west.. Especially during the reign of the 2 brothers. Now... Quality definitely gone south.

Too much lettuce to meat ratio...
Eshley
Went to Flemington Kebab house due to its high rating for kebabs. Unfortunately I could not rate this place highly. The meat was quite plain and lacked a charcoal and marinated flavour however they did put a generous portion of meat. There was a salad overload which was dissapointing along with the garlic sauce which was tasteless and runny. The Turkish bread was very nice and fresh at least. I wouldnt go back to this place unless something seriously changed with the meat. Another thing that bugged me is when my partner asked the difference between chicken kebab and the grilled chicken he said " you just stick with normal kebab"... wtf?

I'll rate this place 3 stars and continue my journey to find the best kebabs in Melbourne.
Andrew Huynh
The best kebabs in the west side. Serving size is quite massive. I stuggle to finish the whole kebab. Very tasty. Iv been a regular. Yet to compare to melbourne kebab station in coburg.

Well iv tried mks now and i must say this place destròys mks. The fact that they include chips with there kebab combos is enough. Where mks do not include chips wat a joke.
W Huang
The bread is great: always fresh, always soft. The meat is not bad, but on the whole average, a little lacking in juiciness and somewhat greasy. Huge sizes partially make up for deficiences.
AmgBurgers
Only thing going for this kebab is the bread. It was fresh and tasty. The meat was tasteless. Too much salad. Not enough sauce (garlic sauce tasteless) Chilli sauce was a joke. Tasted like tomato sauce. To make the entire experience worse, service was a joke. Complete arrogance from the older gent taking my order then a 15 minute wait. Don't bother. Try MKS in Coburg instead

Best Kebabs I have eaten in a long time!! I had a lamb kebab combo which comes with chips & a can of drink. I also tried a lamb kebab pizza & OMG!! Delicious lamb heaven!! I enjoyed every bite, will definitely be coming back again!!
Melli
We usually order from here for work lunch orders- sometimes they can be a little slow with the orders but the kebabs are ok. I have not the runs from them like some others I have been to. Nice staff.
MSY123
Not a bad kebab place, they're monstrous serving sizes here -I failed to finish a lamb kebab during a lunch time visit.
You can slightly customise your kebab, spread hummus on the bread, add chilli sauce, etc, which is a nice touch.
During the busy times it's better to phone order and pick up. A mate and I waited over 25mins and I swear numerous people who ordered after us, were served first. Any place that invokes this kind of unjust service bias merits some kind of divine ill fated intervention.

Good Kebabs. Shithouse service.
Chris Medina
I had the mixed kebab! This is one of the best kebab place I ever been! I love how much meat they put into the kebab their bread and sauces taste really fresh! Recommended!
Annie
Best kebabs in the area! Very generous with the meat. I use to have it every 2 weeks when I was still living around the area. Very delicious!
A&S Eat Everything
Tried this place out for the first time last Saturday night and was not disappointed. If you're eating in try the meat plates with turkish bread and dips. The chicken and lamb was juicy, tender and delicious and the turkish bread was fluffy and fresh. Only downside was that we were not welcomed as we walked in or oferred seats however upon ordering the staff were more than helpful. Overall great place with great food but could benefit with having dedicated floor staff for those eating in on busy nights. We will definately be back!
Some Like It Hot
Never disappoints. Our Friday night staple and we've never had a bad meal ever. Fantastic food. We order pretty much everything on the menu.
David Liao
Truely the best kebab in melbourne. The bread is freshly made everyday. Must try their dips. Despite a basic fit out its the lamb that speak for itself.
The Critic
Returned to my old stomping ground and was craving a kebab! So I went to the place I loved, where the 2 brothers made me feel like it was my second home. Disappointed I was, came in one weekend with my Partner and ordered a kebab. Firstly, lacked the meaty goodness I use to get... More bread and salad than any meat. Secondly, the meat lacked is flavour. I'm not sure what's happened over the past few years but next time I might make the extra effort to go to coburg! Won't be returning any time soon. So disappointed... What happened boys?
Your Average Punjabi.
This place has always been my favourite... they probably serve the best lebanese kebab in melbourne... their chicken shish meal was both "mouth watering" and "stomach satisfying" , operated by the owner, best and a bit crowded place for kebab lovers... their chicken and lamb kekab is a must-try.... best turkish bread.... Highly Recommended.
Cinzo
More than your average Kebab house. Crispy chips and a heap of salads to choose from. The kebabs themselves are the real deal and not that processed rubbish that you sometimes see.
Mo
The kebabs here are HUGE. I always think I can finish one so I try to finish them because they are so delicious but I never can. They are huge. The staff are nice too, and the seating is pretty decent both inside and out considering this is mostly a take out type place.

update april 2016-

visited recently, kebabs still enormous. service nowhere near as friendly. took a long time to be acknowledged then served by the people at counter (though the rest of the store was empty). If they were in the middle of cleaning or something that would have been fine, all you got to say is "hi guys, sorry I'll just be a minute". But we were completely ignored until we had finally just interrupted with our order. Dude forgot to put any sauce on our kebabs and seemed annoyed the whole time while preparing them. It was really weird.
Marcel S.
Great lamb kebab and crispy hot chips. I've been here once and my only wish is that it was closer to my place. Seemed popular with the locals as well.
Sweet And Sour Fork
Being the big spenders that we are, we chose the most expensive item on the menu to share – the Mix Grill ($24), consisting of 4 meats, 2 dips, salad, and basket of bread. The Chicken Doner, sliced fresh off the spit, was moist and well marinated. Meanwhile the Adana Kebab oozed with spiced oils, each segment of minced lamb juicy and aromatic, with just a hint of fermentation.
Daniel May
Good taste. Service friendly. A bit on the pricey side. Probably would try some of the other food around first. Usually get plate of meat with some dips and salad.
Larrylee
Tasty and rude. Waited 30mins for my kebabs. I doesnt take that long. The chicken kebab was very tasty and big, well worth my dollars. The lamb shish kebab was a differnt story. 4 pieces of lamb and hardley any fillings or sauce.

Will return and see if its better
Food52r
Also ignored!. Walked in today with my gf to get some dinner. Completely ignored by everyone working there. Waited five minutes staring them in the face as they all made active efforts to look in every other possible direction. When I asked they told me they'll be with me in a moment. That moment never came.
I've never been ignored like that trying to order food from someone so after over 5 minutes of this, I left.
I don't know if it's just something cultural I don't understand, but as far as I'm concerned that level of rudeness is unacceptable. I won't be going back.
Lion In Zion
Cold and unpleasant. Had a slightly disturbing experience at Flemington Kebab House tonight. Turned up around 8pm to order some takeaway, well dressed and sober. Stood in front of the counter. No response or acknowledgement from the two Turkish-speaking men working there. Other customers came in, picked up orders, left. I waited my turn. Still no acknowledgement from the staff. Kept waiting. Started wondering if I had done something wrong. Still waiting. After five minutes it grew too embarrassing to stay any longer being ignored, so I waited until neither staff member was looking in my direction and then left. Quite bizarre really - why would they ignore a potential customer? The place has an odd, macho atmosphere, not at all welcoming in my opinion. I have no idea why they didn't want to take an order from me, but I know I won't be back.
Sam M
Wow. All I can say is WOW. The only thing better than the freshest Kebab ive ever had is the service. Love these guys!
Li Sloane
I love Flemington Kebabs. family have been going for years. I'm a vegetarian so their falafel is my favourite item on the menu. Make sure you order their carrot dip, Purple pickle, tzaziki and that little purple canned drink in the fridge (lol I forgot what it's called) the staff are very very very friendly and the place is always clean and well kept, not to mention it is halal for my Muslim brothers and sisters!
Snow Crab Nebula
Flemington I had been meaning to try out this place since forever but never quite pulled the trigger until New Year's Day. We ended up coming here since a lot of other restaurants were closed on the day and M had lately been saying that he felt like something vaguely Middle Eastern. We ended up just each getting a kebab (he the lamb/doner and I the chicken) with some chips. These chips were delicious, fresh and crunchy and doused with a tonne of chicken salt they tasted amazing...mmm...MSG.
Xjuzjuzjuzx
The meat was juicy and the Spanish onion was a scrumptious adjustment to the boring white onion that you get in most souvlakia and kebabs. The garlic sauce was creamy and not overpowering with garlic,
Nina
Good food and great service! The guy behind the counter realised how much I liked my chilli and threw in a container of their house pickled chillies for free!
Happy Eater
Kebab King!. Generally not a fan of kebabs but I must say I loved this place. Actually love it so much that I have returned many times given my sister lives close by. I always get the platter with chicken, dips and yummy salad. Food is always fresh and full of flavour. The two brothers who run this place are always polite and have the best service!
Tricia
Please bring back the old management!!! It's not the same with the new management. The chicken isn't succulent, the bread is chewy, the garlic sauce isn't even garlic-y.

It's the first time in 10 years I struggled to finish my kebab. It's a sad, sad day. :(
A Hakan Yalim
Best Kebab and Turkish pizza. Best kebab and best Turkish pizza in Melbourne. Especially lahmajun is my favourite pizza. Dips are really delicious. Especially, hummus and capsicum. I feel very comfortable eaten from Flemington Kebab house. Very clean and everything is fresh. Also, all the workers are really kind and respectful . I like eaten there .

-----29 Aug, 2014-----

Mixs Grill. Best kebab and best mixs grill
J-acqui
Change of management ))):. Used to be my favourite kebab place until i went in there and didnt recognize anyone - change of management/ownership? the food has changed and does not live up to the standards of the old owners, it used to be spotless but doesnt have the edge the previous owners had - friendly staff, clean and fresh food. wont be back!
Nik
This place has been a favourite and trusted kebab place for many years.
Went there today and the dips were atrocious with dry mixed grill, burnt bread with under cooked inner layers...
There was no taste in any grilled meat marinate and they missed half of my order. Salad was mixed leaves with no seasoning and didn't look fresh at all... Shame into such a good place turning into its actual state.....
Must have been a change in ownership....
Will never return ... Farewell good old kebab shop!!!
Tahlia Schneider
Disgusting. One of my absolute favourites until it changed management. Have to question the cleanliness standards upheld when there is a live lamb in the dining area and kitchen. Do not dine here.
Chuppachup
Recent change of management ruined it!. A long time loyal customer of the Flemingtion Kebab House and love it. However, with the recent changes of owner/management, the enjoyment experience of dining/takeaway at Flemingtion Kebab House are no longer there and will never return again.

With the new change of owner/management, the foods aren't as tasty as the previous, the dippings are blanded (always love their hummus dipping, but with the new one taste like crap), the salads options are limited to only 2 now and my salad was drenched in dressing. The meats was dry instead of moist. Overall, the meal was so bad that i couldn't finish half of it where i normally enjoy to the very last piece.
Also, the price has been increased more than the average can get elsewhere with better customer service that actually taste alot better.

The aura of the friendly customer service environment are no longer there!
Joeemmanuel
Best Turkish Bread in Town. I have visited the shop many times to buy Kebabs , Dips and Turkish bread.I have no complains, always service with a smile, food is fresh and very good. I know it is pricey but good food cost money.
Good luck boys , you make Australia healthy.
Josep
Bukko Boomeranger
The best kebab I've had, and I've had tonnes. I reckon I've eaten kebabs from three dozen different places since I got back to Australia last November, and plenty during the four years I lived here before. So when I opine that Flemingon Kebab House's is the best I've eaten so far, I'm speaking from experience. The lamb meat on the sanger I had wasn't as charred as some versions I've liked more, but it was tasty, had NO gristle (unlike Lamb's) and there was a heap of it. The bread was interesting too. Flemington's kebab comes in a folded over loaf that's like a coss between a Turkish bread roll and an English muffin in terms of texture -- good eatin!

I rolled in here at the tail end of a 100+ km group bike ride where the organiser had made our lunch stop at a Macca's way out along the Western Ring Road. I'll starve rather than spend a penny on McCrapfood, so I was huuuuuungry when I ordered from here. But the sandwich and their minimum chips (plus an ayran) was so filling that I wound up bringing a bit home. I've got a ravenous appetite, so that's saying something. I haveta hit this place again to try a plate that has some of their Turkish dips with it. And I'm not going to wait until I've pedalled a pushbike for triple-digit kilometres to do so.

Mouth watering food, the perfect caterers. This place came highly recommended from some of our staff members as one of their preferred kebab joints to eat at in Melbourne. We decided to have them cater for one of our Sales Conference.

The quality of the food including the tasty meats, super fresh dips and the softness of the bread were absolutely delicious. Extremely well priced and the amount of food they suggested was the perfect quantity.

We will definitely be using them again as one of our preferred caterers for all future work functions.
Lizzy
AMAZING fresh clean food. Dips are amazing best I have ever had and the meat is the best. Service is great as well. A must try! You will not be disappointed.
Food_lover
Great kebab. Years ago my friends and I used to be hooked on Lamb on Chapel, but sadly it is not up to scratch anymore and so we had to search for a new place. Flemington Kebab filled the gap nicely for us - the meat is very tasty and the garlic sauce is amazing. My only advice is to go there well after midday. They only start to set up at 12 and so if you turn up early, nothing is ready yet and they are rather flustered.
Pat
I tend to eat at Flemington Kebab House quite regularly. Food is sensational and these kebabs are the best in Victoria I reckon. With great customer service and great food...you'll be back for more!
Chef101
Best Kebabs in Melbourne. A Must try
Sam
Awesome. Love the food. The best freshest dips I have ever eaten. All made on site. You can tell the difference. Meat platter is my favourite.
Kim Caia Bezzina
I will be back........ Got to say, probably the best kebabs I've ever had. Lovely fresh meat and chicken, fresh dips and salads (my husband had a meal rather than a kebab) and awesome friendly service. We will definitely be returning customers :)
Steve
Went in cause of the good rating on urbanspoon and initially it was looking good, the place smelt great. Ordered a kebab which looked good but tasted Burnt. Wasn't very good. If you want the best kebabs head to mums kebabs in oakleigh. Have tried many and they can't be beaten
Rohan Khanna
Sexy Ahmed & Nasir!. Moved into the area a few months back and got a kebab from these guys mid week. I have to agree with the majority of the reviews. Food was amazing, not greasy and probably one of the best kebabs I've had.
The guys Ahmed and Nasir were super friendly and def worth a shout out. I'll be back boys! :)
Zougy
Fantastic kebab, really enjoyed the chicken and all the salads a touch of chilli just added that touch that was needed. Will definitely visit this shop often.. Hope the owners don't change...
Scebebab
Very average kebab, noy worth the half hour wait. Too much choice in the area to bother with this place.
James Lawler
Best kebab in Melbourne. Every week I travel from Richmond to Flemington for this kebab. Well worth it. The best food I've eaten in Australia. Go with the lamb with the lot.
Meeneeq
Yum!. This place does really well as the food is great. Well priced as well. For me, it is up there with Melbourne Kebab Station. Can't wait to go back for my next kebab fix!
Jizz Master Zero
By far the best of its kind in Melbourne. The food is tops and always fresh. If you get a plate the serving size is generous & could feed two. I've moved suburbs a few times over the years but still mission here at least once a fortnight
J.jacqui
The only place I will eat a kebab at. Their meat is real and not processed like other places. The grilled meat skewers are amazing too and the dip and salads are all fresh and homemade. Really friendly owners and staff that will go all out to make your experience good. Love it!
Nathaniel Stockley
Oh Doner, Oh Doner.... Popped into Flemington Kebab house midweek to try one of their highly praised lamb kebabs and found it very satisfying. At a glance it seemed like any other Turkish style kebab I'd encountered, however it wasn't greasy, the garlic sauce didn't smack you about the face and the Turkish bread was fresh & not excessively bulky.

Most importantly, it was nice to feel wholly satisfied hours after eating and not feel the regret normally associated with having demolished a dodgy kebab.
Business Cat
I have died and gone to kebab heaven. Finally got my first FKH lamb kebab on the weekend and it wont be the last.
meat was flavoured perfectly with none of those little 'fatty' bits to be seen - bread was fresh as were the other fillings - hot chips were cooked well. good service, great prices - an all round excellent kebab - if i could eat these every day i would....
Ninnnaho
Amazing amazing chicken kebabs! If you're hungry and it's late, this is the place to go! Definetly a keeper
Tina Tran
Great kebabs. I often stop by on my way home from a big night out, the guys here are super friendly and the kebabs are delicious!
Jussy86
I agree with the others the best kebabs I have ever eaten! I will only go here for a kebab! The bread is soo fresh and soft! And that Turkish rice is to die for! The guys that work there are lovely and always friendly! I love this little family business! My husband had asked for something that wasn't on the menu and they made it for him (it's now on the menu) We go all the way from Altona meadows to go there! Trust me when I say you will never eat a kebab that tastes better!
Alex Karakostov
These are the best kebabs in Melbourne, dont need to say anymore
Aaron
Cant be beaten. Pretty much the only kebab I've ever had that you can eat right to the bottom and its not soggy with oil. So good in fact that my vegetarian girlfriend has turned into a Flemington Kebabs aficionado...what a complement.
Shelby
Awesome. Have been going for ten years and it's always consistent. We moved and still go there because there's nothing as good and fresh and clean where we are now. Can't go past the meal of the day, the bread, the beetroot dip and the felaffel. The guys who run it are efficient and so hard working.
Alice In Wonderland
AWESOME!. I love this kebab shop, they're always friendly and lovely.

They're not rude and don't rush you, but they make the kebabs with lightening speed!

Only live around the corner, so I walk up for a quick and filling feed.... And don't feel as guilty because I see what goes into it.

I love eating here, whether you've had a few drinks or not, it's still GREAT!
Yvonne
GO!. The bread, the chilli sauce, the meat...what else can you say. Been a customer for almost 10 years; and it's always fresh and consistent.
For mine the best kebab in Melbourne....
Iggy
What a delicious kebab treat! They use Turkish bread instead of the usual pita/wrap. Maybe this is their secret! Both (doner) kebab & shish kebab are delicious but the (doner) kebab wins hands down. This place is a must visit if you want delicious kebab.
Big Mojo
Great Sunday arvo nosh. Always drive past the FKH and think i must go in. Today i did! love this part of melbourne. Lots of Asian and African cafes plus this ripper from the Middle East.
Had the lamb kebab 9.50. Lovely fresh Turkish bread, lettuce, tomato, spanish onion and garlic sauce. understated but wonderful. Next time I am going to get the mixed plate. No Contest. It's pretty simple.... they're the best. Family run, good produce, and the home baked bread. The Kebab that tastes better sober.
