Went for "the original", basically meatballs in a wrap, had a side of chips and red sauce. Food was served quickly. It was a little messy eating it but that's half the fun, cutlery is there to use if you prefer. The small beer (250ml) appeared smaller than expected (as pictured), so I'd definitely get the large (500ml) next time. Everything was pretty tasty and reasonably priced, except for the arancini ball my friend got which was around $5 and was very tiny, shaped like a small cone. This place is definitely worth a try, nice to see another affordable lunch option in the east end.
On the pricey end of the snack market, waited 30 minute for take away order with the kitchen full of staff. Bit disappointed.
That being said the meal itself is solid; 4-5 meatballs, great bread and a great sauce. Hardly a snack food, it's a full meal even with its size being the length of my hand.
If you go, head early as they sell out of the different options early and you'll want to avoid the wait!
Good pizza pockets and the salad was very nice. Good value at the happy hour (2 for 1).
