Came back here to Vintams Bakery today with my old work team for a Pho lunch. It’s a place I had visited before but never for pho. That was clearly my mistake because this was some of the best old school rare beef pho I have had. This was all down to the broth which was absolutely standout. Plenty of beef and noodles and all the usual suspects made this one tasty dish. I can see why so many from my old work team raves about this and look forward to many more tasty lunches.

Called past Vintam bakery today for a light lunch... well that was the intention at least. I started off nicely with a BBQ pork bun which was relatively healthy but I weakened at the sight of the chocolate iced doughnuts. While I did like the pork bun and it was flavoursome and was clearly craving the sweeter spectrum and loved the doughnut muchly. The staff were friendly and the cafe also did a range of hot food... all of which could be ordered by picture.
You know when you walk into somewhere new and get a bit confused and overwhelmed with choice and end up picking something you never intended? Well that’s how I ended up here in a cafe famed for its Vietnamese cuisine, with a bowl of chicken laksa in front of me.
But I guess it’s a sign of a great place when even the food they aren’t known for is done so well. This is a great value laksa. No vegetables, but lots of noodles, chicken and a very tasty broth with a good amount of spice. Exactly the sort of thing I needed today.
I’ve also returned and had the warm vermicelli salad with lemongrass beef. It’s delicious, but quite spicy! A good level for me but if you’re not keen on spice make sure you specify beforehand as they don’t ask if you want chilli.
Don’t come if you’re in a rush though! They are not fast.
Good small cafe for lunch. Quick service.
Banhmi ranges from $6.50-$8, well made and satisfying.
Some other bakery/pastries also available in the cabinet.
Bbq pork roll, $7, good flavours.
Love their spicy beef noodle soup. their broken rice is good but the pork chop was a bit salty and overcooked. Their lemongrass chicken noodle salad is not bad but could probably need less salt as well. The Vietnamese iced coffee was really good too.
One of those small cafe's serving some mind blowing food! Fell in love with their Chicken Curry & Rice very authentic Vietnamese taste which leaves a unforgettable influence on your Palate!

Great people there, always smile and friendly. Menu is similar to most Vietnamese restaurant, Pho, Crispy Chicken in tomato rice, spring rolls etc. All done really well. Serving size is average to above average and price is very reasonable ($11 for pho). My personal favourite is their crispy chicken with tomorrow rice.
Had beef noodle soup, serving size were decent. Flavour were a bit too strong with lots of spice in the soup and a little too salty. Took a long time to cook although there were hardly any customer at the time I visited. Not much of a service, water and cutleries are all self served.
Had their roast pork sandwich for lunch. $8 is not that cheap compared to other decent banh mi places in Melbourne. Fortunately, plenty of tasty meat and fresh veggies stuffed in. Gave a 4 since the baguette was way too flaky to my liking. Definitely will be back for other sandwiches and items on the menu.
And they DO have a toilet!
The best Bahn mi you can get in Melbourne! I saw this old lady making my roll and I immediately had flash back memories of being in Vietnam. Will definitely visit again to try more things.

My family enjoys Vintam Bakery. The service is so great as well. Always a warm welcome and after a few visits, we got to know the owners. The cupcakes are the best- the blueberry and apple cupcake. Their chicken curry is also a number. The vietnamese coffee is amazing. Come to Vintam Bakery to get a good dose of good baking, and good food.
Authentic vietnamese in Docklands.
Prices are reasonable and good viet for the area.
Banh mi and Bun Bo Hue are great options.
Edit: broken rice is also extremely good !
Nice staff and yummy Noodles, highly recommend!
Good food, Singapore noodles recommended.
Very nice Pho, and very Friendly, especially the owners.
They also have an outlet on Collin St, near the last tram stop, which is open on Saturdays as well.
We were in Melbourne for 6 nights last month and my family had their Pho more than 9 times. I'm not normally a noodle soup person myself unless it's spicy, but I like Vinny's and Tammy's pho a lot.
This is Docklands legend. Great place to eat eat if you work near the docklands waterfront. Good food, very affordable and quick service. Takeaway is available. The staff is very helpful too. Strongly recommend thr Chicken Pho, chicken wanton soup, seafood laksa and seafood singapore noodles. If you want a quick bite just get a roll, and you are sorted.
The best Vietnamese I’ve had in a very long time and dare I say I have eaten at Victoria Street. Humble service and incredible flavours. Highly recommended.
I had quite a nice pork roll (with fresh made pâté), but the highlight was the cinnamon doughnut - possibly the best in Melbourne and only $1.
