Food was absolutely amazing in particular the chicken we ordered was grilled to perfection. Juicy and tender yet you can still taste the flame grill on the meat. All the sides worked so perfectly with each other and the service was top notch. Going to recommend this place to all my family and friends!

Great Mexican food, reasonably priced. Had the burrito bowls, normal burrito, and chips. Very tasty and would go back again, but couldn't go on a Sunday for a birthday as they are closed Sundays. Ended up going for lunch mid week.

i came here on a quiet tuesday in the afternoon. the nachos were delicious but the only drawback was that the chicken was a bit dry but that was ok. the service was also lovely, i would recommend to those craving mexican food in the western suburbs.

$4 taco tuesdays! Need I say more? Los Pollos has a great selection of Mexican dishes including all the usual suspects - tacos, corn and burritos. We ordered the corn chips (AMAZING- freshly deep fried and served with refreshing guacamole and salsa), street style corn (creamy, cheesy and tangy), French fries (crispy and loved the seasoning), flautas (aka fried tacos rolled up in a cigar with chicken - I loved these although the chicken was a little dry), and a variety of tacos (I only had the veggie taco which was delicious, generous in fillings and tasty). Service was friendly and accommodating. They’ve also got a beer garden out the back. Great mid week feed, I recommend coming in a group so you can try more dishes. <br/>NB: They’ve changed the menu slightly so there’s no churros on the menu, they’ve switched to a caramel rice dessert.

Los Pollos is tucked away in a quiet corner of Footscray. It’s a small place, very much like the ones you find in California, a Mexican little taqueria with a Tex-Mex influence. As the name denotes it’s main ingredients other than tortillas is chicken, and it’s heavenly chicken. <br/><br/>You get greeted by Adam the owner and his team with the friendliest of smile.<br/><br/>The tacos are amazing, there are a few different fillings but hot chicken with the crunchy pickled onion is my favorite. There is plenty of filling, it’s spicy, full of flavor with a nice corn tortilla for a perfect taco. There are also Burritos, and various combinations of whole or part chicken. <br/><br/>In a time where eating Mexican is so expensive paying $6 for one is a great value and honestly refreshing!<br/><br/>So if you’re in the area and feel like Mexican you cannot go wrong.

Roast potato taco and veggie taco with shoestring fries <br/><br/>My favourite Mexican place hands down. I always get the potato and veggie taco because they are less spicy but also because the veggies are seasoned and roasted to perfection! The shoe string fries were amazing too, very crispy and seasoned generously. Love this place :)

We enjoy the specials that this place offers (Tuesday nights are $4 tacos, Wednesdays are $10 nachos... the list goes on). The tacos are fantastic, the nachos are delicious, I've also ordered the burrito. The food comes quickly and is consistently great.

Casual setup, with colourful decor. The service could have been a lot better. On arrival we had to find our own seats and grabbed menus by ourselves and even gathered our own bottles of water as there was no sign of services. We decided to order 1/2 Chicken combo with shoestring fries and salad and 3 tacos and churos. Tacos were nice esp medium chicken taco. 1/2 chicken combo was ok, we expected chicken to be much seasoned as being a Mexican joint. Lastly churos did not meet our expectations, it was very average and the home made chocolate sauce was just like cup of milk chocolate slurry. Probably wouldn’t go back.

The burritos are not really outstanding. The filling is kinda bland and $16.50 is pretty expensive. I got the churros expecting much bigger but they were tiny. The churros almost tasted like they were frozen and reheated. Pretty disappointed

Giving this a two star rating because I don’t believe it is value for money. Got four tortillas topped with iceberg lettuce and red onion and lightly drizzled with sour cream was definitely not worth $15<br/>Would not come here again and honesty los pollos should re evaluate their prices or at least add some guacamole/cheese with my meal. This business will not survive. You get better value at a food truck ...and that is saying something

3.5 <br/>Surprisingly good Mexican street food at very affordable prices. <br/>Los Pollos doesn't have any fancy seating or decor however the staff are all friendly and attentive. <br/>We were seriously impressed with the quality and flavour of the Flame Grilled Chicken and the Tacos are brilliant. <br/>The Roast Potato Taco with Pico, Pickled Onion and Chipotle Tomatillo salsa are delicious. <br/>Some good Mexican beers on offer and a couple of fairly ordinary wines.

While we don’t claim to be true connoisseurs of Mexican cuisine, it is our humble opinion that Los Pollos comes as close to authentic Mexican as you can get in Melbourne.<br/>The hand-made tortillas, the perfectly grilled chicken and combined with the amazing variety house-made salsas. It’s no surprise we enjoyed our Mexican feast so much!

Visited for dinner with my wife as I heard the food here is very authentic LA-Mex, the chicken was a treat, very tasty. The sides were also enjoyable, prices reasonable with friendly service, we will definetly be back.

Sooo good! The food is fresh, authentic and DELICIOUS! We went on a Thursday night and were the only dinners in but takeaway menus were literally running out the door. We had a variety of things - my favourites as the chicken salad & the nachos. The corn was very disappointing considering the price of it but everything else, price wise wasn’t to bad :)

I went here for my birthday as a last minute decision and I think it was the best one I could’ve made. The store front looks like any other ordinary fast food place but the back courtyard is super cosy and neat! Loved the food, especially the tacos and quesadillas, would defs recommend everyone to suss this place out!

Revisited this place after a long time.<br/>It was just as good as I remember it.<br/>However I am giving it two stars due to the uncooked chicken they served me.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Situated in the 'wrong side' of Footscray, (away from Barkley and Hopkins) this joint has seemingly popped up out of nowhere. A good addition to the variety of food in the area.I came here on a Tuesday night and the place was half full, with a mix of locals and what I would assume to be Central and South American clientele from the Spanish I could overhear.$3 taco Tuesday, however, I opted for a quarter chicken combo - quarter chicken, chips, salsa and two tortillas. <br/>When eating chicken like this it is hard to not compare it to the famous South African chicken joint. I must say they compared okay.. the only redemption was the salsa which I had to adjust with the free sauces on the table.<br/>When eating food like this it is hard not to compare it to GyG... I would say the tortillas here are better can't comment on other.The chips for me were overseasoned, fries not chips actually. seasoning for chips would be fine but it was too much for the thin fries.Service somewhat questionable...I'll be back to try the tacos next time.

Los Pollos is a small cozy Mexican joint in the west, with the most friendly staff. We ordered 3 variety of tacos, nachos and fries and the tacos were juicy and packed with a party of flavours. The nachos were rather good, it was the first time I had beans in my nachos but it was interesting. Fries were nice and crunchy. Have yet to try their chicken!

Highly recommend to locals and outsiders too. We came at 8:30pm just before closing (9pm) on a Tue night. After quickly checking availability of menu items, they happily served us our 1/2 chicken combo, street style corn as a side and 3 chicken tacos ($3 taco Tuesdays) of different heat. The food came out in no time and they kept serving customers up to closing as long as they had the ingredients. Staff were so friendly and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Still moist and had a nice basting. Corn was coated in a tangy, creamy mayo dressing and chips seasoned well with an undisclosed spice flavouring. Rice cooked well and flavourful too. Will definitely be a regular here! (FYI, available on UberEATS as well if you’re in the catchment area)

Taco Combo with side of fries and wings<br/>Choices were medium, hot and potato.<br/>Churros<br/><br/>When my order arrived everything was there except for the potato taco which was still being made. It did come after i finished my meal.<br/><br/>Had the medium taco first 3/5 - fillings were chicken, chipotle sauce and guac - not bad, more mild than I thought. Guac was quite fresh. But overall the taco was missing something, possibly a crunchy texture.<br/><br/>Then came the hot taco 4/5 - chicken, habanero/ pineapple sauce and pickled red onion. Definitely the one. The sweetness and crunch of the pineapple complements the hotness.<br/><br/>Potato bravas taco 2/5 - lacks flavor and seasoning. Potatoes were way too big and therefor underseasoned.<br/><br/>Wings were also lacking some x factor. All I tasted was bitterness and butter. Also took advantage of the special $1 wings - for the size not even worth paying that amount.<br/><br/>Churros were crispy but covered in too much sugar. Loved the homemade chocolate sauce.<br/>
