A great place for a feed after using the many nearby running or mountain bike trails. Kids love the hot chocolate pancakes. Great burgers and coffee. Offered chicken salt on chips which is always a winner.

Secrets. Absolutely love smiths gully general store.
absolutely everything is yummy, especially the burgers and pancakes.
they're so friendly and hard working, absolutely love it and would recommend heading there for some food and a coffee.

Always great- Smiths Gully General Store has many different options to choose from - from bakery pizza rolls to salt n pepper squid pieces, fish and chips to fantastic burgers. Always delicious and great to visit.

Yummy breaky. Even if you're not a bike rider this is a good place to stop and enjoy good country hospitality a short drive from the city.

The People a friendly, with a mixture of locals and riders and other passers by coming in regularly.

The coffee is good and the Big Breaky is fabulous. The Eggs Benedict is good value and the pancakes are to die for.. or at least thats what my kids said.

The cafe is as warm as the wonderful hand baked bread from the oven. Great muffins, super friendly service and a range of stuff you wouldn't believe including bike parts like forks, gloves and jerseys. There's also firefighting stuff. Karla makes great coffee and there's always delicious pastas and pies. It's very popular with cyclists coming back from Kinglake or MTB riders heading down the singles nearby. The cafe on the side is a hidden treasure. Enjoy yourself there on a Sunday afternoon or morning. Their open real early and close late.
