Review Naum Bbq - Melbourne

Gazel Harabati
Loved this place! Staff was very attentive and happy to help despite short notice. The food is amazing quality for an all you can eat place. I recommend the pork neck and all the wagyu options. I heard the seafood options are also amazing (there are platters available and scallops on demand to grill). The sushi is also top notch, and I would definitely recommend the beef bulgogi on the side.

Ordered $18 beef bulgogi delivered to my door. What beef bulgogi? It's 95% all fat, it's the most expensive plain rice I have ever paid for! Basically I'm not dining in, they just gave me all the fat they can't give to their indoor customers! Scumbags!

Overall we had a great time here, the food was ok but the service was excellent. The wait staff changed our grill twice throughout our meal without being asked, and very courteous throughout. The only issue I had was with the spiciness level, which was very mild at best. So if you love spicy flavour you might need to BYO chilli. I also think the bbq quality depends a lot on your grilling skill. So best to google tips and trick before coming, since you need to grill it yourself. Lots of great buffet items, and the bbq meat quality were ok. We will come back to try the dinner service which includes sushi!

Reasonably priced with great selection of meat and delicious hot foods! They serve good sushi as well and lots of Soju flavours to choose from (additional order). Not to mention, you get to be served by AMAZING staff! Will definitely be back!

Lovely ambiance, food selection is great except they don't have noodles. An hour and a half of all you can eat is worth the money (with prawn and scallops)! FYI - just make sure your kids are around 9 and above to get your money's worth.

It's a good place. Everyone is so nice there. But the food need to be upgraded. It didn't meet my expectations for the money we spent. It should have more food at the buffet table instead of we have to go at the bar table to ask for the raw meat everytime.

This places is the best all you can eat Korean BBQ, the quality of the food is unmatched. Having a taste of scotch fillet, along with waygu beef, with also pork cuts, oh I forgot about the chicken and Seafood too. The delicious sides along with sushi and cooked dishes too. Highly recommended for those who love a good Korean BBQ.

Took my family here. Fantastic food and the service was excellent. Staffs were all very nice and attentive. Highly recommend. I’ve been to the other Korean restaurants in the area and this is by far the best one. The cakes were delicious. Will come back again.

Tried this place out for an All you can eat lunch after hiking after seeing an advertisement on Facebook. The price was $33.50 per head with 2 hours time limit but the waitress said the time didn't really matter because it wasn't peak period yet.

I really like that this place have a good variety of food selections that ranged from beef wagyu, pork, chicken and seafood. To get your meat for the bbq you have to self-serve by going up to the chef and requesting what meat you want and bring it back to your table.

While the grill is getting hot, there are already cooked food kept warm in slow cookers in one corner of the restaurant with beef bulgolgi, kimchi stew, spicy marinated pork that you are welcome to self-serve and eat. At the Chef's counter there is also fried chicken ready to eat as well.

Sushi was supposed to be all you can eat, however, my group was informed that they were not available at the time and thus we missed out on trying sushi. The other food on the bbq and the unlimited scallops made up for this.

I was a little disappointed that their menu lacked desserts for an All you can eat restaurant, all they had were small servings of sponge cakes which was actually really tasty.

Definitely will be back with my group to try out the other food we missed out on!

I went here with my husband to give this new place a shot since we live in the next suburb. It was quiet when we went there. Price per person is not bad. As we go around the buffet area, the cold section items were not fresh and it’s obvious that it has been sitting there for so long. The mixed lettuce are wilted and the iceberg lettuce was not fresh. Orange wedges look stale and so is the other food. There was this red spicy dipping condiment that tasted sooooo salty. I didnt see samjjang anywhere. The food on the bainmarie is not hot enough nor warm. It was room temperature. Bulgogi and kimchi soup were room temperature i decided not to eat them. The fried chicken was my favourite part although i ate a stale chicken on the first batch, the second batch was cooked fresh. Thats the only thing i like. The meats we only ordered for one round only. That was not bad either. I just kept eating only the chicken. It was a below average experience for me. When two white couples arrived, thats the only time they top up the sections with fresh stuff. I hope this is not discrimination but we’re defo not happy. Not coming back.

Tried this place out for dinner. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Attentive - constantly changing the grill for us whenever required.

Nice selection of food - sushi, meat - beef pork chicken + fried chicken, seafood, stews and veggies.
Absolutely loved the kimchi stew - packed a punch. Tbh, that was the highlight of my meal.
Worth the price i paid for and would definitely come back.

Came here with people from my meetup group. We order 3 of the bbq sets for about 8 persons. Worked out to about $38 a person.

Not too bad and not too shabby. I like this place

One of the best korean BBQ places in Melbourne. Definitely a place worth dining at. Quality of meat was fantastic, service was incredible. Will come back again very soon ;)

Ordered the pork army stew and chicken karaage, both dishes were average. Chicken karaage portion was tiny for the price of $18, had like 5 pieces of chicken :c the stew was okay, service was very good though which was nice. But overall it was an average experience 🙂

This is my second time here, first time was before their opening, service here is excellent! I am happy that finally there is a korean bbq restaurant in this area, we do not need to travel to city anymore when we are craving for korean bbq 😉 Today we ordered the army stew, just perfect for the cold chilly weather. The veg tempura was good too. We will definitely be back for more. Oh yes, we were surprised to see they serve sashimi here ... and fresh oysters too. For a moment, we were confused, is this a korean or Japanese restaurant hehe...

So glad we stumbled across Naum BBQ. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic! We ordered the Naum Chirashi Don Set and Chicken Karaage, both great choices. I highly recommend Naum BBQ.

Tried this place for the first time... the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had the meat lovers combo for 2 but there was 3 of us and the serving was more than enough. The chicken karaage was well cooked, my daughter described it as ‘juicy and tender’ 😘 and that yuzu sauce was amazing. Tuna sashimi was probably a bit too thick but tasted okay. Overall missed the korean fried chicken, hoping that next time they’ll serve more korean favourites as well.
Worth a visit 👍🏼

I ate here tonight with my family and let me start off by saying that the service was amazing! The wait staff ensured that we were comfortable, helped us out with cooking and ensured that all our banchan (side dishes) were regularly topped up. The serving sizes were generous and the cuts of meet delicious! Looking forward to my next visit!

New korean bbq place in the west!
Was excited to bear about as i usually travel to the cbd for decent korean.
The service is awesome and manager is super friendly.
As expected they had run out of certain things on the menu as they have only been open for a few weeks. Looking at the menu most things other than the actual bbq sets are japanese. Would have loved more korean dishes such as bibimbap, japchae etc.
Ordered beed bbq. The quantity is very generous which was awesome. The marinated beef was tasty. Quality of meat was also good. Overall was happy with the experience there. Will come back if im craving some bbq on its own.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. Very welcoming and friendly service. The fried chichen was nice, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy in the inside. To be honest, I didn't need any sauce for it, it was pretty good on its own. However, the beef bulgogi was a bit of let down. It's a very common dish in Korean kitchen and it's not hard to cook well. But they managed to make it blend, especially the mushrooms in the dish, no flavour at all. The Korean hot pot and BBQ the next table was having looked good though. Maybe next time I will order them.

Naum Bbq is a brand new Korean BBQ restaurant in point cook. It’s one of the best Korean BBQ restaurant I have had so far. It’s a huge place and lots of sitting area. The quality of meats is great. The presentation of food is very professional. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and always a smile on the face. They are very helpful and always there to ask if we needed anything. The menu has a wide variety of meats and variety of drinks. Loved the food. And will surely visit again.

Wow this place is fantastic! Newly opened Korean restaurant in Point Cook, I’ve already visited this place twice and I’m very impressed! Came in for lunch both times, had the Beef Bulgogi set and I can’t fault it. Delicious marinade and tender beef, comes with 3 side dishes, miso soup and rice. Second visit had the Chicken Karaage set which was very much enjoyed. Chicken was tender and juicy, quite generous serving as well, and again, came with 3 side dishes which were all delish. In my photo you’ll see kimchi which was my request because I love kimchi. Not only is the food nothing short of amazing, so is the staff. Very friendly and hospitable. I met one of the owners and she was very lovely which is most likely why her staff is as well. Restaurant space is spacious and comfortable, all tables have a clever design with a side drawers that keep cutlery and napkins.
Looking forward to visiting Naum once again for the dinner time BBQ!
Sweet And Spice
This places gives you a Korean BBQ menu mixed with Japanese small bites which gives you best of both worlds! I came here during their soft opening, only been trading for a week. I was surprisingly impressed with the food and dishes from their raw bar, especially their raw bar dishes, beautifully presented and clever flavour pairings (the scampi and snapper) !!!

I will be back
