This halal place serves food for all sort of tastes. It has kebab,HSP,sandwitch, chips, wings you name the popular food they have it .They have good deals too where you can get a sandwitch and a drink for $5.I always go there after work to grab something for dinner or just a munch.its not expensive .its in a competition with all big fast food giants.their great food makes them different .no complaints .

Tried a few weeks ago during the weekend and it was so so. Tried again today mid week during peak hour and it was excellent (chicken HSP) Didn't realise it was coming with a free drink... For $9... Pretty good deal

First visit in Kamil's Kebabs was very good. I look forward to trying them again soon. I arrived on a busy night and they were out of the flat bread they use for one of the kebab sandwiches, but the other things we tried were very good and the bread was delicious.

Crazy cheap food thats decent quality. All of the snack packs and small pack meals are super good value. Most of the overall taste is fairly average but their chicken comes cooked in a unique middle eastern style batter which is worth trying. Fairly often the different meats will be a bit dry, don't neglect to get some free sauce from the counter. Also if you visit late in the afternoon or early night you can pick up some discounted but very dry meals.

This is an outlier in terms of hotel restaurants and a wonderful change for a business trip. The ambiance is set in royal style and the food is the set-menu format. They provide two options differing in terms of the number of kebabs on offer and each one is rightly priced. We loved the food and the variety of kebabs is amazing. The service is good and staff courteous. The chef himself came out to introduce at the end of the meal.

The staff is rude and uninviting. They always have a stern look on their faces and are never happy. The food proportions are tiny considering the cost of the food are so expensive! The HSPs are decently made, but not the best, and the fries are soggy and however, they make sure to fill up the container full of fries and only give tiny amounts of meat. Not worth to come here considering it is also hard to find a seat and the customer services isn't good.

Halal food in lower ground of Melbourne Center Station. Large Lamb's Kebab is my favourite menu. Nice service

Fast Service - Yes Great for a quick stop by to get something on your way somewhere. Food within minutes of ordering Cheap Food - Yes Prices are good and servings are very large for the prices. $9 for a small HSP with a drink is a steal, and the servings are huge. Quality of Service - Meh Just because they are fast doesn't mean they are good. Rarely get your order right, and don't prompt you for options for food (eg. Asking if you want cheese on HSP, getting mixed meat instead of just one) Quality of Food - Meh Kebab meat is not the nicest, dry and chewy. Chips for HSPs are undercooked and slightly cold, resulting in cold grated cheese in your meal. Lots of food mixing together, found an olive in my garlic sauce on my HSP, sauce was not from bottle, instead served from a tray. Overall, if you are looking for something quick to eat on your way to work or on your lunch break then sure go for this place. But if you want quality over speed then find somewhere else.

Couldn’t walk passed the chicken schnitzel Turkish roll special here today... it was so reasonably priced I just had to give it a go. $4.50 for a reasonably sized chicken schnitzel , slaw and tomato Turkish roll and a can of Coke rounding this up to $6... what is this 1995 or something. In terms of taste these were prepared so schnitzel was a little cooler than a freshly prepared one. The slaw self districted on opening because there was so much crammed in... kind of a good thing but perhaps what was needed was a hint of mayo and I wouldn’t have any complaints. Can’t go wrong for the price.

Always have different experiences when I try out the kebabs at this place. When I first tried the mixed kebab roll, the elements were well balanced - the meat, sauces, and veggies. I was impressed and found it to be value for money. However, the second time I tried the kebab I found there was more veggie than meat and lots of sauce which made it very messy to eat the kebab. Without a doubt your hands gets messy even with the foil wrapper on.

The HSP is good and they make it fresh for you. The staff is very courteous but they need to up their game in such a busy place like Melbourne Central.

I ate here for the first time today and had the large vegetarian snack box. The 4 salads tasted very fresh and healthy. The 2 falafel pieces came with some great sauces and the bread that was served was fresh and hot. The service was a bit slow but I enjoyed the meal and the serving size was generous. Will come again here for vegetarian items.

Extremely inconsistent with the quality but on the bad days you figure that you get what you pay for and on the good days it is very good value for the cheap kebab.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service here. Food was atrociously bad. I simply asked for a HSP with cheese but it wasn’t like any ordinary HSP. The chips weren’t even freshly cooked, just taken out of the fries tray that looks like it had been sitting there for hours, the meat was just leftover pieces chucked on top, not even heated up, and the cheese was just thrown not, not even melted and the sauce wasn’t even generously given. I noticed the worker as well seemed very lazy and wanted to just hurry up and give my order when there wasn’t anyone else waiting. It’s extremely disappointing to see such service given. This was the epitome of shit service.

Used to go there every week for their large chips. Then they raised the prices by a dollar and being a homeless person i was unable to afford it. We will not be going back there until they lower the prices of their large chips back to $3.

3.5

A middle eastern cuisine stall in Melb Central.

It's located in the foodcourt at Melbourne Central's LG. Basically it is just a pick up counter, with seating options in the foodcourt. Service is quick but not quite friendly.

The mixed kebab was definitely great for its prize as even the small one filled me up, the meat is probably a bit dry but the kebab was overall pretty good.
What I like to get here however will be the vegetarian box, where you can choose 3 options of salad from the counter along with a piece of falafel or you can choose meat box if u want meat. I like their basmati rice, cauliflower and mushroom salad combo, but sometimes i get the feta salad too. They can get a bit salty though, especially the falafel.

Price is definitely the selling point i think, most are under $10 and the chicken schnitzel burger is a steal for $4.5.

( follow for more!✨)

xx、 joelle

First of all I can get better HSP for a less price. Soggy chips .. cold/dry meat .. the $1 cheese didnt melt so i just have cold sticks of cheese in my hsp. Never coming back.

Got the kebab snack pack, the meat tasted like it had been sitting in vinegar all day, the chips were under cooked and had a lot of salt. I was unable to eat it, the taste of vinegar was so strong.

Very average quality and service, ordered a mixed lamb kebab with garlic and hot chili sauce in a small chip + drink combo for only $7!
Unfortunately the kebab wasn't wrapped properly and the contents fell out through the bottom (more like a soft taco kebab???) Kebab also didn't have any chili sauce only garlic sauce and the quality of meat was okay, good for the price though.

On top of that, the chips were barely warm not hot, obviously had been sitting there for a while.

Service was dreary, lady looked at me like she hated life and wanted it to end and I stood around at the counter waiting for one of the 3 of them to notice me. However they did get the order out quick at least.

Quality 2/5
Service 2/5
Value 4/5
Ambiance 2/5

Overall 2.5/5

Though it's closer to a 2, only go here if you want a quick and cheap filling lunch thatll keep your belly from gurgling otherwise avoid and find any other place at Melbourne central for a good feed.

This used to be my go to for HSP's just because of the convenience of its location but my experiences have gotten steadily worse over time.
Considering how cheap the prices are - you get a drink with every hsp too - the chips are fine, the kebab meats are slightly under average and the sauces are the same as everywhere else.
Definitely don't touch anything but the classic chicken and lamb because everything else is really dry.

Rude and owner Asian lady will force you to spend more so that you cannot ask anything.

Do not buy salads here.. tastes cold and life less with no aroma.

7 dollar salad bowl is a waste of money

Pathetic salads with unhygienic kebabs including deep fried chips... Dirty Kitchen in the back is visible.. Congested Billing counter...

Try at your own risk.

This is the place I always go to when I am feeling upset and in need of comfort food.
When life knocks you out, but their mixed box will never turns me down.

Kamil's Kebabs is a value establishment that serves quickly at a low price point.

Looking for a salad at lunch around the vicinity, Kamil's Kebabs is the unlikely best option of them all by far in terms of quality, price, variants.

A large gets you a huge plastic container of a mixture of however many salads your heart so desires.

Choice salad options: Greek with lots of feta, cauliflower, tomato green beans and coleslaw.

And a can of soft drink puts you just a couple of dollars back more. Incredible value and an extremely satisfied patron.

On a nice break in the city after work, I decided to find the most budget, value driven meal possible- low and behold Kamil's Kebabs. Situated in the Melbourne Central lower food court, I opted for a cheap $4 Turkish bread with schnitzel and salads.

To summarise it was very bland. The salads were not fresh in the slightest and offered no extra value to the meal whilst the chicken itself was mediocre and lacking flavour. There didn't appear to be any sauce on the burger either so it was just a matter of eating for the sake of eating.

I will try the kebabs next time as opposed to what is offered on the windows and report back. Otherwise I am left disappointed with this meal, albeit it is $4.

Food: 2/5
Service: 3/5
Ambience: 2/5
Value: 3/5

Overall: 2.5/5

Located in the food court at MC's lower floor, Kamil's Kebabs is a healthier alternative when you're hungry. Their chicken schnitzel was on point; nice and crispy on the outside with delicious, chicken on the inside. Together with the lettuce and tomato - delicious! Very filling, and price friendly too.

Came here since ive been craving for falafel. But it was a let down, it was too salty and not very flavorful. However I ordered the vegetarian box for only $6 and i got 3 salads with my falafel, which tasted decent and fresh. Not bad considering the price point

It is one of my favourite places when I like to have some heavy snack. Mostly, I am fond of their Hello Snack pack which gives you large chips with grilled chicken and lamb with chilly and garlic sauce. They also give you a cold drink which is too good together for 8$. Highly recommended place

The spicy chicken skewers is the best , love it and totally delicious tasty . Recommend mix with sweet chilli sauce . 2 for 6 Aud . It's locate just beside Melbourne central train station. Kebab look tasty will try next time

Best Kebabs In Melbourne. Recommend highly. Great prices and deals. You can get a large Kebab with chips and a drink for 9 bucks. Kamil is a legend

They have a lot of options to go with their grilled meat. You can even get HSP with three choices of salad for $7. One of my fav lunch spots when I'm working because its tasty and quick. Just watch out during lunch times because the queue can get really long.

The lamb kebab I had from this place was the worst I've ever had. The meat was just lumps of fat and hardened meat. I had to throw 90% of the meat away. It was disgusting. I've just started work in the area and was hoping for a decent kebab joint. I won't be going here again. Truly awful
Marioscenario69
Hello Snack Pack? Absolutely Harammmm! These cheeky dingoes don't know how to make a proper HSP! So haram that I cannot rate. Hello Snack Pack? More like Goodbye Snack Pack. Never. Coming. Back. EVER.

The meat was disgustingly dry, not fresh at all. I ordered a hsp from here and was extremely disapointed with the poor quality of food I dealt with. Nothing was fresh, it made us sick. The meat didnt look like meat, at one point we werent even sure what we were eating. We werent even able to finish our meals. Its a dodgy kebab station, definitely wont come back.

Loaded kebab fries. So bad, so good. What more is there to say?

Kamil's kebabs is a very average kebab place that serves a nice variety of food items for a kebab joint but fails to deliver good quality food. On the positive side I like the Chicken filled baked bread which is pretty alright. The lamb kebabs aren't great but the chicken ones are alright.

A great place if you want to pick up a quick and easy snack or lunch feast. I get the reg falafel kebab roll for $5 or for $7 you can get the large one. The actual falafels are large balls and full of the flavor. You can also get falafels and 3 choices of salad for $5 small or $9.50 large. The cauliflower salad is full of flavor same with all their salads though I do feel like they can be a tad oily. Still worth it though!!!

Absolutely love this place! Three salads and a falafel for $5.00 is the best. Salads are pretty awesome and falafel are amazing. Sometimes I just order two falafels for $3.00! Bargain! Plus they're the size of tennis balls. Their sandwiches are also pretty good. But the bread is a little hard and the salads can be a little scarce. Staff are also really lovely :) the place is also open pretty late, so it is great when everything else is closed also!

Falafel and 3 salads $5 a great meal. The first time I came here, I wasnt impressed by the service as someone pushed in and got served when all I wanted was 2 vine leaf rolls (yum and small snacks) but today i came and wanted to try the falafel and 3 salads. All extremely tasty and very very well priced. Also extremely filling. Really enjoied and from that I'll return...much better service today. I got this and 2 vine leaf rolls and the Turkish delight. ..all only costing $7.60. So much better and healthier than most places.

I ordered 2 kebabs, both mixed, both terrible, the bread itself is small & very thick, both meats was very dry & tasteless. The guy serving the food had a "CBF" attitude, terrible service, would not recommend this place to anyone..

Kamils Kebabs is a place where students go to get lunch, or dinner. Melbourne Central is no exception. Here they have a lot of meals for under $10 which is very filling. One day I went there just before lunch. I was really intrigued by the look of the place. I was also really happy that Melbourne Central caters for students who are really poor, and not just for the rich. Here they have combos as well which are $5-$8. I initially thought that they take the Melbourne Central gift card, but apparently they don't. The guys at Melbourne Central gave me an outdated list of retailers and I didn't know until that day. But luckily though the lady that served me was very apologetic. I had to pay :(. The wedges was $3.90 and lukewarm at best. It had been in the bain marie for some time. But the Vegetarian pide (Bread filled with stuff inside- $6.50) was lovely. It was nice and hot and the vegetables were fresh. It was very filling. The Turkish delight ($0.50) was just ok. It was just like the one
