Great coffee. Friendly service.

It's hard to build an inviting atmosphere when you operate in a well lit building lobby. But I think this crew have managed to do that quite well. Mostly by being staffed with warm and engaging people. Coffee is pretty decent - food looks appealing.

Cute little place in the foyer that seems to have consistent passing trade. Came for a coffee and found their chai latte to be good. Staff were happy to fill my reuseable cup. Next time will try one of their wraps which looked tasty. Everyone very friendly here. Like the decor. Note: wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly.

Who would've thought a cafe tucked into an office building would be so surprisingly tasteful and funky. I expected something standard and bland as most ground floor cafes for desperate coffee runs, but this is quite different. Refreshing ambience, new age music, and right amount of hipstery compliments the good coffee very well, and cheap prices too! Hope there were more seating available.

This cafe is located in the reception of this building. Decked out with a modern feel and lots of seating but the coffee was a little weak for me and just luke warm. Much better coffee nearby but it is convenient on crazy rainy days like today.

Ok so it’s a foyer coffee shop in a big and busy city office block, but the coffee is good and the Lamb Roti wrap is one of the most delicious things I have eaten! Slow cooked lamb, spinach, caramelised onion and a delicious yogurt mayo sauce in roti! Warm it up, even better!

Such a busy little place full of healthy AND unhealthy food lol. I love their soy chai latte but find their soy choc a bit sweet.

Pro tip: use the Skip app to preorder to skip the queue. Ordered my spinach and egg muffin and drink and by the time I got there 5 mins later it's already made!

This cafe is located in the building I work. I have had coffee and chai latte many times here. I think the hot drinks are alright, I have had better coffee from other places not too far away from here however the location is convenient. When I can find a seat I do enjoy sitting in and having a coffee. The staff are friendly and there are many great healthy food choices too. Worth going if you're in the area.

Located in prime CBD area, they have very good coffee. Food is quite average and can be expensive.
Staff are grumpy sometimes. Go for the takeaway coffee.

Outstanding coffee, great salads: I'm always so sad this place isn't open weekends, because the coffee is the best in the vicinity, and with the skip app you'll never wait in a line ever again. Try the freekah or pearl cous cous for a filling, healthy lunch

I go there everyday and i'm more then happy with this place. Service is really good, coffee is amazing and their sweets are really good. The staff are super friendly.

Neat little cafe in the lobby of 180 Lonsdale. In short, the coffee is usually good, sweets are great, other food can be hit or miss and service is sometimes confused/slow.

Where's Marcel is a gem located right near my work! The coffee is awesome and the food is also pretty good. I enjoy the superfood bowl, vanilla cream cheese bagel and the breakfast egg muffins. There are also some yummy sweets; scrolls, pecan slice, bliss balls... Definitely lucky to have such a good cafe nearby! Highly recommend it.
Hello. Imnikki
Where's Marcel? Located inside the lobby of the BHP Billiton building, you do have to go looking for Marcel. The reason I discovered it was because I saw on Instagram that Kwak scrolls are sold here. A great place to grab a coffee and food to go. Lots of salads, sandwiches and pastries on offer. Coffee was good but somewhat lacking in strength (I like my coffee strong).

Pretty cool place to grab a coffee and quick snack to go! Got a Kwak Scroll (cinnamon!) for just $2.00 during their special week, and it was just incredible! Just a little (and I mean tiny) bit too tough for my liking, and slightly small in size! Plus it is quite confusing directing your way to the register etc. Otherwise, awesome!

Modern cafe with good coffee in the bottom of the 180 Lonsdale building. I had the brekkie special this morning - a brekkie wrap with coffee for $6.50, however it was an extra 50c for the additional shot. Bagels and muffins also look good - I'll be back to try more!

Great coffee and the scrolls are to die for.

Got what i wanted which was the scrolls.. However no smile from the staff and the coffee was just average.. Really should fix those smile guys

Best Coffee in Melbourne. With a wide range of coffee choices Marcel and his team excel in making exquisite tasting coffee. The range of coffee brewing types boggles the mind. Cold drip looks more like a scene from breaking bad but tastes great , I'm very lucky enough to have it in the building I work in.

Nice coffee, fancy looking sandwiches. Not bad coffee, great friendly staff.
Can't wait to try their fancy looking open sandwiches!

I am always on the lookout for new cafes and new coffee joints in and around the city – as most times the new cafes are located in the suburbs or inner city – both of which I cannot access during the week when I am at work. My latest find – Where’s Marcel? – is thanks to moving onto a new client for work and hence a new work location. Where’s Marcel is located in the foyer of 180 Lonsdale St (near the corner of Russell and Lonsdale Street) – which used to be the BHP Biliton building and is near QV.

Where’s Marcel is a boutique coffee roastery and cafe with a casual and friendly vibe in a modern and welcoming setting. Where’s Marcel has an extensive menu of drinks available from coffee, tea, to fresh juices, milkshakes and iced tea infusions – the menu is spectacular. Coffee lovers will definitely enjoy what’s on offer here – they have a Brew Bar Menu which consists of Stove Top, Turkish, V60-Pour Over /Chermex, Batch Brew, Cold Drip Filter, French Press, Aero Press and Cupping. Have a look at the full menu in the pictures above. They roast their own coffee and have 3 different blends – Culture (this is the stronger blend), Evolve and Decaf.
