This place is an egg farm with a cafe. Great idea! The eggs taste super fresh as they are. Unfortunately the eggs were a little over done. Also had a good coffee to accompany my eggs

Eggselent. We came here on a whim for breakfast this morning. This cutesy eatery is on a busy main road, but somehow when you're inside it feels like you're in a sleepy country town. The interior gives off a kind of modern farmhouse-esque style feel.
The staff here are so friendly and very welcoming. A novelty of eating here is you know your food is going to be farm fresh, given the eggs are laid a couple hundred metres away. They have a great variety of egg inspired fare, and other not so eggy foods too :)
We picked the scrambled eggs with chunky tomatoes, parsley & sourdough on the side and the buttermilk pancakes with berries. The eggs were cooked in a delicious truffle oil which made it quite ambrosial and definitely turned it into an upscale version of scrambled eggs! The pancakes were cooked beautifully and their coffee is pretty decent. Before leaving we took home 30 freshly laid eggs...a steal for $7.50!
A word of advice could be for the owners to maybe add a bit more signage, as we have driven past here many times yet never knew it to be a cafe and given the sign just says The Egg Farm people could easily write it off as being just a farm producing eggs.
We will definitely be back soon to give their lunch menu a try.
This place has beautiful food, staff and great eggs. Worth coming here and enjoying a well made meal for a great, reasonable price
Good Egg. Over in Bangholme / Dandenong South, most of the land is devoted to manufacturing, warehousing and farming. When it comes time to eat, the options are mostly disappointing, unless you enjoy stale greasy food from a bain-marie. Thankfully “The Egg Farm Eatery” offers some more inspiring meal options at extraordinary prices.
As the name suggests, the café is part of an egg farm, so you can be assured of farm fresh eggs cooked any way your heart desires along with a selection of well prepared uncomplicated fare for both breakfast and lunch.
My chicken schnitzel served with chips and vegetables was most pleasing and incredible value at merely $9 all up. If you work nearby or find yourself over this side of town, you’ll be hard pressed to find anything nearly as good for the money.
In addition to the prepared meals, they also sell farm fresh eggs, poultry products and a selection of Italian inspired groceries.
Great quite place for a coffee and other little snacks. Also they have fantastic eggs at great prices.
Great service and cosy environment only suggestion would be a little more choices on food menu but I understand it’s not in a high traffic position so it might be too difficult to cater for all but you should check it out it’s great

Delicious fresh eggs, so fluffy and creamy! Decent coffee and generous breakfast servings. Fairly priced. Also sell fresh eggs in all sizes as well as chicken and pasta. Bright and friendly atmosphere. Weekdays for breakfast don't seem too busy so almost have the place to yourself. Only drawback is that if you blink you will miss it! It is not very obvious from the road that it's actually a cafe/shop. Definitely worth persisting though in my opinion. There are high chairs also and plenty of room for prams. Wheelchair entry available.
A great location for a quick bite. The place is not so obviously seen from the main road but look for the giant golden egg. Of course chicken is always on the menu and they have a menu of Cook to order items from 9 to 2pm. Service is friendly enough.
Friendly and knowledable staff with a fantastic chef. Eggs are of amazing quality and richness. All round a great place. Will definatly be back
Had great coffee here, the service was good too, nice relaxed place to stop and catch up - not too busy and price was around what you would expect...
