my favourite venue in Melbourne! been to plenty of gigs here and love it every time! the staff are always so inviting and it's such a great vibe in the pub. awesome food too! had one of the fried chicken burgers and it had plenty of flavour

I've been to The Curtin a few times now, each for different occasions. It's an old school pub we'd on occasion head out on a bender for Christmas functions but as of recent have visited for Bluebonnet Barbecue and Sonny's Fried Chicken & Burgers. All the ordering of drinks and food is done at the bar (this wasn't the case for Bluebonnet).

It is frequented by tradies and mostly students nearby. I'm sure there's been a change of hands over the years (the pub itself) but I just come here for the amazing grub they push out of those kitchens. Their line-up rarely changes so a spot to "watch this space".

An absolute gem this one. Had the Sonny Burger which is one of the better burgers I’ve had in Melbourne - the chicken, bun and slaw was amazing. The venue itself is a classic rock ‘n roll themed pub - sticky floors, live music, smell of beer. Can’t wait to get back.

good old fashioned pub with live music.. ordered fried chicken while having drinks before a show.. the wait was. a bit long.m but worth it.. tender juicy crispy fried chicken. the best I've ever had

One of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had! Still thinking about it long after eating it! Good friendly service, food was quick to come out. Definitely coming back again to try more of the menu out.

My favourite bar ever!!! Staff are always kind and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. They have great beer and wine available. It’s a great vibe. I’ve been coming here for years and will always come back. It’s great visiting a bar with such rich history

Save old Melbourne. Save this pub. There are Enough high rise glitzy boxes of cookie cut out concrete composed of cramped one room apartments.😣 Never ever sell historical buildings to unknown OS buyers who don’t care for heritage and cultural character. Learn your lessons vendors!

Great tasting, huge pieces of fried chicken cooked fresh. This would have been one of Elvis' fave places! Add crispy beer battered chips on the side and I guarantee you'll be licking your fingers for more! The pieces are so big you may even have a doggy bag for later!
