There popcorn chicken is the best! The coating is the perfect texture. Will be back again for sure!
Grabbed a plain jane burger with poutine and milo shake. Hands down some of the best takeaway I've had. Patty was juicy and perfectly cooked
Ordered the hot hot burger and a poutine. Chicken was cooked perfectly, would have preferred if the coating was thicker but it was still an awesome burger. Poutine was flawless, chips were crunchy and there was plenty of cheese and gravy.
Can’t recommend The Brunswick enough! So flavoursome and packed with so many goodies such as beetroot, fried chicken, bacon and BBQ sauce! Paired with fries it’s the perfect lunch

Came back after a less than average experience last time. Went back to basics and had the fried chicken with chips on the side. The chicken is juicy and succulent and the chips are generous and well seasoned. The shakes here are amazing. They are really generous with soft serve and they’re served in those big, old school milkshake cups.

I’ve been here maybe 8 or 9 times since mid 2019 and always had really good if not spectacular experiences. My latest experience on Friday 17/01/20 was pathetic to say the least. Thought I’d change it up and try the waffles with 2 pieces of fried chicken. The waffles were ok at best but the two anemic pieces of chicken were laughable. A drumstick that was no thicker than your finger and another woeful piece. All up it was maybe 4 small mouthfuls of chicken. See the picture. The place isn’t even busy during the day, so what’s the excuse for serving up this joke?*********************************^^Previous review from mid 2019:Fantastic! Can’t fault this place. First time here and the guy at the counter was helpful and gave some recommendations. I went for the 3 pieces of fried chicken with peach and cayenne sauce on the side, fries and a salted caramel shake. The chicken was perfectly crunchy and succulent and the batter was mind blowing. Peach and cayenne is something different and it worked so well. The shake was so thick and filling. Overall an amazing meal made even better by the 25% EatClub deal. Will be back very, very soon!

Milo- one of the best milk shake I've had. Solud, thick and full of Milo flavour.
All my cravings were definitely satisfied after visiting FAT! We had so much delicious fried chicken and I absolutely loved the waffles and chicken- I loved the combination of the icecream as well :)
The shakes were some of the CREAMIEST AND YUMMIEST I have ever had!!! I had the apple crumble and I would 100% recommend this- it was absolutely delicious
Always come back here for my birthday, so we’ll just leave it here like that 😉

We were invited into the Fitzroy Fried & Tasty (FAT) to try their chicken burger menu. A fun interior with just about every chicken based pun you could think of and a great range of menu items. They only serve chicken based burgers here s
We chose a Hot Hot chicken burger with extra cheese, a side of poutine, mac n cheese, and a salted caramel shake. We also tried a serve of popcorn chicken in a white bbq sauce.
The poutine was sizeable and well coated in gravy and cheese and the Mac n cheese a yummy version of this classic comfort food dish. I enjoyed the hot hot burger too which had plenty of hot sriracha sauce, jalapeño and double cheese as I ordered. My shake was perhaps one of the best shakes I have had in recent times, it was sizeable and thick and had such great flavour I would definitely return for this one.
The popcorn chicken was an interesting dish. I had anticipated crumbed chicken bites instead of the uncoated chicken which came with a white bbq sauce. It was ok for a few bites but didn’t that morish appeal.
If you ever want to spend your entire day's calorie intake in one glorious meal, this is it. Order the fried chicken and waffle, poutine fries and some pickles to top it all off. Crispy and delicious with amazing seasoning, this place is the bomb!
If you love fried chicken then definitely have to hit this place up it's some of the best chicken I've had. Great flavours slight crunch and no oil. Great burger range and drinks to plus a vast sides menu.

Pretty great fried chicken, but so expensive for what you get: it's tasty, but not worth the hype, for the price. The standard chicken burger was great (I added cheese), and I really enjoyed their salad with ranch dressing. Would be great if they had US sodas (dr pepper etc). I will keep coming back for the burgers and salad. Service is always really good and fast.
This restaurant is all about chickens! You can order just chicken pieces or burgers or waffle & chicken! I tried their hot wings that came in 5 pieces and also corn on cob. Be careful as those wings pack a heat! Chicken have crispy coating and juicy meat. A little pricey for the amount of food but still satisfying.

Some of the best fried chicken burgers we have tasted, will revise rating once we come back to sample the chicken pieces themselves. Chips were great and so was the service, relaxed no nonsense setting. A bonus that they serve alcohol too.
Great fried chickens! I ordered their peach and cayenne sauce and it was delicious. Their milo shake was good as well. Definitely one of the go to places for fried chicks!
There are American-style fried chicken, Korean fried chicken, Karaage, and there is F.A.T. fried chicken. Definitely worth a try if you had not been here before. Great fitzroy vibe, friendly staff and delicious foods!
