Ditzy Dani's Cafe is one of the best cafes in Preston market. The lady who served us was really nice and their coffee was great. Although the place is a bit small, their customer service makes up for it. The bacon and egg toasts were delicious and the home-made Cornish that I had was more than I expected. With the covid19 restrictions, they have hand sanitiser and social distancing is strictly followed. I highly recommend this Cafe if you go to preston market, you won't regret eating delicious food at a very affordable price. They are located in centre of the market next to the fruits and vegetables. I'm giving them 5 stars for customer service and their food.

I always take my son here for Dutch pancakes and a babycino.
Itβs a small cafe but still nice enough to sit down and enjoy watching people at the market.

Ditzy Dani's is located inside Preston Market, right next to Preston train station and several bus routes. A great place for brunch before you buy your fruit and veg. ππ It's run by lovely friendly ladies who serve excellent coffee, delicious healthy home-made soups, spinach and cheese pie, and many other goodies. π I recommend the BRAT - bacon, rocket, avocado and tomato π
on excellent bread. Gluten-free options available too.

A definite stop to make for a well deserved rest.

Ordered the chicken soup of the day for $9.50 and to my disappointment got served two minute noodles with meatballs and chopped carrot. Never going back

Great coffee, food, but most of all friendly staff.

Coffee is ok, could do with some fine tuning to get a nicer shot. The real trouble is with the beans which are on the border of being over roasted. Very common in Melbourne, but I expected more.

Nice central stall in the market. Best place to get hot drinks. Nice staff. Also has a good array of cakes. Never tried the soup or sandwiches.

A very welcome addition to Preston Market, good solid coffee, great flavour balance at a great price. Various snack options available and efficient and friendly service. Makes a visit to the area even more enjoyable.

The cafe is located central of market and established nice gold milk steamer. Beautiful fresh roasted aroma with acidity. I will check coffee beans next visit.

Great coffee - I like a double shot latte and it's done just right here. I've always gone for the $4 almond croissant - huge and delicious! Service for me has always been friendly but I'm at the markets 4 times a week so maybe I'm a marked man. They have really upped their cakes and treat options and it looks amazing. Best coffee in the Preston area.
Hello. Imnikki
With its prime corner position at a t-junction in the middle of Preston Market and its eye-catching sugar skull motifs, Calavera is hard to miss. It also holds the distinction, in my humble opinion, of serving one of the better coffees in the market (have yet to try them all but Calavera is definitely on top right now). Our lattes, both skinny and normal, are of excellent strength and smooth on the palate. The milk is sometimes frothed too hot, but not too the point of scalding so it cools down reasonably quick. Improved consistency with the temperature of the milk and it would be perfect.

Food-wise, there's a selection of sandwiches, toast, pastries and what not. Nothing particular captivating but after the lunch time rush has dissipated, the savouries are sold at half price so it's always tempting to grab a bite to go with my coffee.

The service can be quite off at times. The staffs seemed to be merely going through the motions, and there's no sense of friendliness or approachability. I'm guessing because it's more of a grab and go place, so there's less customers and staffs interaction required.

I had a coffee here when I was at the markets yesterday. The coffee was good, but a bit milky for me even though I asked for a skinny it may have been full cream milk.

But the coffee had good flavour and the service was really friendly. Tick tick haha

This is the best coffee that I've had at the markets so far so I'll be back lol π
