Edit: Finally tried the Chow Keuy Teow with beef (flat rice noodles). Very delicious, highly recommended, and lives up to the hype! Great work Yen!
Yen is a regular lunch option of mine, great for a quick noodle or sushi take away option on weekdays. More brown rice, than white rice, sushi options - but these are incredibly fresh and tasty. I actually now prefer brown rice sushi because of Yen's influence! Great size for a sushi too, not your thin, lightly packed options that you may get from sushi chain joints.
My colleagues grab a noodle dish at least once weekly and consistently rave about the amazing flavours. And this is coming from 4 people. Haven't tried them myself but am very keen to!
Better off with takeaway rather than dine in as the cafe is teeny tiny.
Owners and staff are not "fraudsters" as a few other reviews may suggest (or at least aren't any more!). I've never had issues with receiving exact change and there is no credit card surcharge.

Love this place. It's cheap, the food is very tasty and it has the best noodles in town. Some of the silly comments on here are ridiculous, don't believe them.
Great value great food, noodle made to order, only $9.40 for chicken beef or vegetable and $10.80 for seafood. And love the brown rice sushi.

Yen Sushi Noodle is located in Centre Place and it gets really packed during the typical lunchtime, so coming here to pick up lunch is only an option if I happen to have a late lunch around 1pm-2pm. . Singapore Noodle Seafood ($11.30). For the Singapore Noodle it would cost $9.90 for the beef/chicken/vegetable option. I’ve always found they were generous with the seafood varieties, fish cake, prawn and a nice big mussel. The noodle was spicy enough for me, but not a weak type of spicy either. Good value for money.
Ordered a vege noodle box with satay sauce. Absolutely delicious. Eaten a lot of noodlebox in my time, but never had one this fresh. Excellent!
Awesome noodle spot with cheap fast service. Perfect hole in the wall. I'd recommend checking this place out. Choose your noodle, sauce, and meat combination.
