Review Pesona Indonesia - Melbourne

K
Authentic Indonesian food. Very spicy sambal. Decent price. I hope they switch on more lights as the place is too dark! Had to use the torch on my phone to look at the menu before ordering!

It was delicious foods, affordable price, big serve and friendly service. Our Filipino friends like it very much

Being a converted pub gives it a slightly weird vibe, but food, price, and friendly staff are awesome.

I ordered the deep fried chicken on my first time visiting this place and it was great! The sambal was magnificently spicy and the whole portion was just right. This restaurant serves varieties of Indonesian food including mie baso, nasi goreng, bebek goreng, and many more!

Found this hidden gem just around the corner of RMIT city campus. Foods are very delicious and super affordable. My favorite was kangkung belacan, it was just sooo tasty. Will definitely come again.

Great Place, Great tasting food. Staff were especially hospitable during Ramadan's iftar time. Place needs more lights on however.

I'm Indonesian and have given it the seal of approval !!!! Please eat here! It's really goood! Unfortunately, the place is so dark that it looks like it's closed but the taste is really Nice!

Their avocado juice is good.
Their soto was bland and there were very little things inside the soto. Soup to meat/veggie ratio is about 3 to 1.

I am really sorry to say this but not sure why this restaurant is exist. Does the chef think the food is good? Although the food wasn’t expensive but I still feel that got cheated.

WillI be back? Not even in millions years

2.5
Came here with a craving for mie goreng. It was ok but the serving size was smallish and it was served in a huge bowl. The position of this place on the corner of Lygon and Victoria Street should bring in a lot of business but it never seems that busy when I wander past.

Came here with my colleagues. The food was nice, but not the portion. For the price I paid, I assume it will be a lot bigger not just big bowls.

Very authentic Indonesia taste from the chef. Definitely should be thinking of giving more service to the customers.

Probably come back here again soon.

Food was bad... weird tasting soup and noodles were hard and tasteless. Couldn't finish any of the food we ordered. Ended up walking to the city for another dinner...

The food is OK. The resturant was a bit "dark", not sure why the owner didn't turn on the lights. The avocado juice is quite good. But the soup is a bit TOO salty.

just bought ice kacang merah (red bean ice), the red bean is sticky, very salty, sour and smelly - indicates it has been kept for such a long time, past its best to consume date!!! Won't be going there again
