Proper NY style pizza pie joint. Stick to their more simple pizza offerings. Have found they tend to be greasy when loaded with additional toppings especially pepperoni, meatballs, cheese. If ordering after 7PM I get a whole pie as it’ll be cooked fresh. Buying by the slice is good for lunch as the pie is fresh. After 7PM they seem like they’ve been sitting around. And keep in mind the pizza really is a NY style pie. They’re yuuge. One pizza will feed three. Or stuff two. And the box is too big to fit in either the fridge or oven when you’re left with the inevitability leftovers. The box is too big for the garbage shute too. Prepare yourself when you take on Sal’s Pizza

I think the bad reviews are from people who like domino's. I got the pepperoni and it was amazing. Nicest slice of pizza I've had. If you like thin pizzas with lots of delicious sauce this is your place.

Good pizza and garlic knots. We went on a Monday so it was not busy. 20 minute wait and friendly service for takeaway. We got a half and half pizza and was blown away by the size so good value for money

Their signature pepperoni pizza was really good but it’s on the salty side. Only downside was the waiting time - we ended up waiting more than 30mins for our order and this was after several reminders. Seems the store is understaffed so I would recommend ordering through online for pickup.

I work in the city and like to catch the tram here on my lunch break every now and then. Very tasty pizza. Staff are always friendly and food prepared quickly.

A cozy eatery with selling crispy thin based (New York style) pizza. Also good for a quick bite or snack as they also sell the pizza in slices.
