Blended Beard is a fair way down Bourke Street in Docklands and while it is located in its own side building it doubles as the foyer coffee bar for 818 Bourke Street. I stopped in for a quick lunch and coffee today and was presented with a cool laid
back venue with plenty of wood grains happening and great retroesk music. Seating spilled into the foyer area and I sat on comfy stools on the giant share table. It was a cold day so opted for one of their Ka Pies. These pies won a fair few awards by the look of it and steak and cheese is always a favourite of mine. It didn’t disappointed and had plenty of melty cheese inside but the taste it could have used a little more warming (not a biggy). They had a selection of coffee blends and I chose Shadow Boxer guest blend to pick me up for the afternoon. Nice smooth blend and nicely extracted. Certainly glad I called in.
Great friendly service and reasonable prices. Easily the best coffees in Docklands imho. Haven't tried the food but what I've seen brought out of the kitchen looks good.
This great little coffee shop has a range of delicious breakfast food and uses good quality coffee, all reasonable priced. The food is quick and the lunch options are great
I stopped by Blended Beard for a quick bite to eat and midday caffeine hit. The first thing I noticed was the industrial fit-out with wooden furniture, copper light pendants and fancy utensils & cold drippers. I love cafés with character so this quirky and cool space really stood out along the corporate Bourke Street strip. The service was warm and bubbly, and the display cabinet was stuffed with savoury sliders and sweet bakes. My coffee was AMAZING - the baristas clearly know their roasters. Then I inhaled my toastie - I only wished it was bigger.
A great spot for a snack and speciality coffee - if I worked around here, this would probably be my go-to!

Amazing Barista coffee... Don't bother with regular ones, as they taste the same. Instead, go for speciality and Barista blends. Worth the wait and for coffee lovers

If only I had enough time, I would have definitely asked the staff that why a coffee shop is named Blended Beard! :)

Excellent and consistent coffee. The baristas take the effort to make your coffee perfect and precisely to your liking. Love this place. :)
Come here every morning for my cofee. Great beans, from a rotating list of roasters, food is yummy, service lovely, baristas go out of their way to learn your order/name and ask about your day. These guys really know their coffee! a refreshing change in the docklands!

Best coffee in Docklands. Blended Beard have extremely personable staff and a great fitout. Despite the queues they will get your coffee out very quickly. There are many drinks unique to the store as well as new guest roasts all the time. You will always be able to find something you're interested in! Highly recommended it if you are in the area.

Seating area is pretty corporate which may/may not work for what you're after. Good place for a business meeting.

These guys are great. Coffee is fantastic, food is delicious, and service is fun and polite, and really helpful. The Sliders and wraps are to die for, cakes are awesome too.
Best coffee around. Chai syrup is yummmmm with soy! Almond latte is 👌🏼 and food is always spot on. Doughnut 🍩 is yummy and sliders are a must!! Defiantly a week day drop in must
