My score 3.75 stars (avg of 2 visits). I had a solo lunch here on Thu 19th Dec. Small but clean interior – no frills with a few tables & benches to eat at. Service was again pleasant and super fast (great for a quick work lunch).
I got the $11.50 Lunch deal again. Similar to last time, except the CKT wasn’t quite as good (it had celery in it, which had a strong taste & was a bit distracting).
Feb 2019. J had Seafood nasi goreng - Moderate sized serve with a slow chilli kick, passable but not amazing.
I had the Lunch noodle deal - Large steamed dim sim > Was ok – moist, but pretty meaty. Char kway teow > Pretty good, some char on the noodles & a nice smoky charry character through the whole dish. 375mL can of drink included.

Food is always great, the place is clean and the staff members are always very friendly and polite. Our favorites are the special fried rice, singapore noodles and seafood mee goreng (watch out the are spicy!!!). Keep up the good work guys!
Always great consistent food. My preferred choice for take away when I can’t cook, the food is fresh and tasty. I always get a prawn dish stir fry and fried rice. But will be trying out more of the other items soon.

We were on our last day of visiting Melbourne, and decided to have a quick bite to eat before crashing at the airbnb down the road. I was immediately drawn to Bamboo Garden because it looked so clean.
After tasting the food I decided I had to leave a review.
We got the pork fried rice, chicken fried rice, chicken and sweet corn soup, Szechuan chicken with vegetables and half a dozen wontons.
The fried rice was just how I like it, proper vegetables- not just the diced mixed veg you get at some takeaways, spring onion, egg, everything finely chopped- no fatty bits or gristle, no greasy oily texture.
The Szechuan chicken was tasty, with crunchy fresh vegetables. Soup was tasty, well seasoned and hot. The wontons were a tiny bit over cooked at the very edge, but made up for it with the filling. I'm used to pork wontons, but these were chicken. A really beautiful mix inside, delicate wrapper and the perfect size. They came with a small tub of sweet and sour sauce which didn't overpower the wonton. Portion size was generous but not enormous.
The service was exeptional- possibly the most polite staff I've ever encountered. We could see the entire kitchen which was spotless and tidy. The chef looked like the real deal & his wok was piping hot.
Some of us decided to eat in, while the rest got takeaway. There is a small booth inside the shop which accomodated all five of us pretty easily. The cutlery and plates were clean. The menu board was uncluttered and easy to read. Prices were reasonable.
For such a small takeaway, I was just blown away by how nice everything was. I wished we had one this nice anywhere in Brisbane...
PS: I'm astonished at the 3 star rating- must be a few competitors trying to bring the score down? Anyway, I almost never bother to go online and leave a review- I think this is only the second one ever, but The Bamboo Garden deserves it.
Super friendly staff, always serving with a smile. Hard working family business that serves fresh food. Great for a easy meal! Regular customer, highly recommend! Very easy parking as well
Absolutely amazing service and food. Perfect every time and never a mistake when I swap a bunch of ingredients out! Shaki (sp?) is lovely and always polite with a smile. Favourite dinner place hands down.
The food is above average, they don't stock too much ingredients (sometimes they don't have lamp, sometimes they don't have scallops) .
Which is fine to me, i rather they provide with fresh ingredients.
And I find it not too oily comparing to a lot of the noodle shops, next to Coles, parking is so easy.
Wife and i ordered Singapore noodles and Satay beef noodles. Singapore noodles was the best I've had outside of home. Vermicelli noodles were nice n fluffy seasoning was spot on with a hint of curry flavour. Servings were also generous. Satay beef noodles were also good, eggs noodles had the right texture beef was tender. Satay seasoning was quite good also tho the serving seemed smaller than the singapore noodles. Service also exceptional, so polite n accommodating.
Very affordable delicious family run resteraunt it's fresh and tasty 😋😋 great spot to duck in for a quick lunch or call ahead for take away
What a little hidden gem! We absolutely love this place, the team that works there is always so lovely and very helpful. Noodles are filled to the top and so tasty and juicy. Defiantly worth the price. The veggie noodles and the mangolian beef noodles are our favourites! We recommend this place to everyone! Keep up the great work guys!!

Wonderfully friendly people & fantastic food. Many years of eating their delicious Mongolian Beef and never once did they falter in providing the tastiest and amazing food. Friendly table service and a pleasure to visit!
Always cheerful, and tasty. My go to local noodles. Love the combination with steamed rice, bbq pork, and Singapore noodles.
