I would rate this place a four because of their service and food..
I loved the kabab with saffron and steamed rice combo
The minced lamb with the rice was just 3 star according to me cause i am not a raisin person and it had raisins in with the rice, minced meat.
The starter was yummy
I remember it had egg plant..and the pita bread
A must try one guys !!
I forgot the names of the dishes and sadly on zomato their menus are not available
Finally went here for dinner after wanting to try it for ages. I had my heart set on the cookoo sabzi but unfortunately it wasn't available. Instead, I got the mirza ghasemi (roast eggplant and tomatoes) and the kashke bademjan (eggplant, whey and mashed walnut), which were both rich and delectable and served with a heaping amount of bread. That said, the former was meant to come with rice if ordered in a main size and I wasn't advised the entree size didn't come with it, which was a bit disappointing. I also ordered a side of spinach and yoghurt dip but swapped it to salad. Unfortunately the waiter must have forgotten and brought the dip instead. It was good but lacked spice and was very heavy, so I would have ordered the salad but felt too bad to say anything. I'm interested to try this spot again but will order differently next time so I don't end up with a meal of what's essentially just bread and dips.
We had a pretty good lunch here on the weekend. They are on EatClub so saving 30% was great!
I’ve had a few deliveries from here but eating in was much better.
We had the Persian soup which had so much flavour and texture. It was aromatic and delicious.
The Zereshk Chicken was outstanding. I’ve never had a piece of chicken that was THAT GOOD! The barberries in the rice, so tangy with the softest ever chicken.
My child had the chicken skewer with rice and it was great quality. The dip was an eggplant version that went great with the bread too!
Lost a point for no wine; on a lazy Sunday with fabulous food we would of loved a BYO option like advertised but they don’t have their liquor licensing sorted yet so as soon as they do I can’t wait to come back!
Spending a over nighter on chapel with some gals for training was bound to be an adventure.
Wanted to try something different so persian food was suggested.
Food was really good but service could really improve by ALOT. The staff arent friendly particularly one waitress, she was rude, not friendly and even taking our order was like it was a big effort. If it wasn't for the fact the other gals wanted to try it, i would have walked out.
I'm giving it 4⭐ cause the food was really good but because the attitude of that waitress it didn't deserve 5.
Service is the number key to customers and obvious they don't know that. Really want to go eat there again but the thought of the service puts me off.
I've been to this restaurant so many times. The foods are nice and tasty, generous portions and well priced. Their kabab are moist, well marinated and cooked well. Love the baghali polo as the meat really come out the bones perfectly.
The Persian Room is a meat lovers delight. And if meat exactly isn’t your go to cuisine then don’t fret - the restaurant has an awesome selection of dips (hummus, baba ganoush, tatziki etc.) and other wonderful vegetarian cuisines too.
Good food. We ordered a eggplant dish, it was awesome. The ice- cream is a must try as well. Friendly service. Great flavours.
It is family friendly. We will visit again.
Best Persian food in Melbourne - hands down.Unfortunately, it does not have the atmosphere of some of the other Persian restaurants with live music or large amounts of space, given it is a very small space. But if you are after a really good feed I would recommend Persian room. For entrée make sure you get the three dips with bread (especially Mirza gasemi) and for mains I always get their diamond kabob which is SO juicy and delicious. There is plenty of rice and the staff are always happy to accommodate your every Persian request (including onions on the side). As a Persian, I wouldn't ever have the ash/soup or gormeh sabzi as no one can beat my mums, but all their kabobs are delicious and their broad bean rice with lamb shank is divine. Don't be put off by the size or décor - their kabobs do not disappoint.

Went there with my Persian boyfriend and everything was just awesome. Was my first time having Persian food and it was delicious!
Also the waitress was really nice
The first time I came herez I had sabzi and fesenjan. Probably not the best decision. But kebabs are just perfect! Definitely 5 star place. Will come here again on other occasions.
