Been here 3 times. First time we tried Afghan food was in this restaurant and it just blew us away. We have since came back twice and we doubt it will be the last. Food were consistently good. What I loved was we weren't being hurried to clear our table for next guests. I had this experience with the neighbouring restaurant.

Good Afghan food and friendly staff. Had the Mixed Palaw. Meat was tender and juicy. Rice was fluffy, sweet and tasty. Staff was nice and helpful.

Went with family after a long time, the interiors have changed after the pandemic and for the better, it's more spacious and bright now. The food remains the main captivating factor , generous helpings along with the right aromas and taste makes it a delightful experience.

Food: 9/10 Environment: 8/10 Serving time: 6/10 Customer service: 10/10 Ordered charcoal grilled fish with rice. Got plenty of rice for 1 person. Well cooked fished, served with salad. You will also get a yogurt sauce and chilli sauce. Also took the mixed grilled plate, comes with rice and bread. It took around 15-20 minutes to get this items. Overall great experience.

I have been going to Kabul House right next to this restaurant and never tried here... today wanted to take a chance and we went here ..and to my surprise it was such a pleasant experience. The food was tasty the place was absolutely awesome to sit as I got a separate room for my family and above all excellent and quick service with very polite staff. And the most important thing is the price - that is why I have given this place a full 5 star.. compared to Kabul House price is just half. No wonder it is bye bye Kabul house and hello Kabul Sydney restaurant for me from now on

Delightful experience for my first experience in Afghan culinary style kebab grill, a difficult choice with having ate at Kabul house slightly down the road which majority gets confused. I would say House's blend were heavily saturated in the spices hence I wasn't able to enjoy the mixture with the grill meats, not to mention its always busy making it unpleasant at times. Kabul Sydney however has a better dinning atmosphere with slightly less traffic and extra variety of menu options. The infusion of their rice's with chutney and yogurt makes it a power sensation of aromatic explosions in your mouth. Will definitely return to re experience the miracle of their mix plates with plenty of chutney to go with every bite.
