3 cheers for the Pickled Pig.
Breakfast menu is small (which isn’t a criticism) but really really good.
The staff are extremely pleasant and have a fantastic table manner. When it comes to kids, they are amazing and will put a smile on any child’s face.
Thank you PD, we were overwhelmed with your professionalism, service, flavours and all round experience.
Been here a few times now and can confidently say - get the onion rings. Crispy, golden and not oily. Not a big burger person, but instead of opting for the pizza, I opted for a pulled pork and asian slaw slider and a beef brisket w onion relish slider. A tad too much sauce/aioli on both, however the brisket slider was an absolute winner. Decent gf/v options if youre into that. Close to home and fair prices.

We were at this place last night. The first thing that caught our eyes is, 'Man, They telecast live cricket!' 😁 We ordered a Veggie Pizza (9'') and a Mediterranean lamb pizza (12''). The pizzas were thin crusted and we liked it that way. The topping were sumptuous! The Veggie Pizza had a good load of olives, which we loved the most 😁 The service was good. We had hot chips too. The quantity was impressive. We also had some soft drinks like coke, pepsi and some beer and wine. The bar menu has very good spread and the bar is nicely arranged too 😁 . The place was crowdy but not overflowing which gave the right feel for a good weekend dine. In short, we loved the place 😁 Sadly we were not able to get either duck or seafood. As we went in there expecting both of these. We felt that the food can be a bit more spicy and you know, it varies person to person.

This place is incredibly spacious. You can’t make bookings but you also don’t need it because there are so many tables.
The serving sizes are simply so large that we could not finish our entrees and mains and felt quite bad about wasting so much food.
The food is delicious although I wouldn’t bother with the duck sampler, it wasn’t that great for the cost.
Everyone in the north east of Adelaide has been there, wants to go there or goes there so much that they know all the staff by name. Get there early for dinner, they don't take bookings so it's first in best dressed.
My companions and I got on with it and ordered up, we were starving and we had Mr 14months with us who was just itching for some wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. Yes, Mr 14 months eats sweet chilli sauce.
I ordered a Duck Slider with pickled green onion and carrot slaw and a side of Beer Battered Sidewinders with Chilli Con Queso. I had to Google Sidewinders, I had no idea what they looked like. I knew they were a hot chip of sorts, I hadn't heard of them and I thought I knew my hot carb sides. I wasn't disappointed. The Sidewinders were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, cooked perfectly and I couldn't get enough of the Chilli Con Queso. I could have used my fingers to lick the bowl clean and noooooo I didn't, but I could've.

The nachos wedges were amazing, such a great combo with cheese sauce, avocado, salsa and sour cream. The soft shell crab burger had a generous sized crab, but the whole burger was a bit dry and neede sauce. I will be back to try the desserts and more burgers soon
We dined on a Monday night and it was packed! As a result the atmosphere from customers was good.
Menu is sliders, burgers, pizzas and sides.
Counter service: which was prompt but not particularly friendly.
The kitchen was open and busy - shame to see kitchen staff all grumpy - an open kitchen highlights the mood of the staff and it didn't look happy.
We all had burgers and onion rings and fries.....and they were all hot and delicious!
Fast service on food.
Drinks service was quick but I was surprised that I got a belligerent eye roll from the young waitress when I asked for a glass for my can of soft drink.
Service from counter staff and bar staff was not engaging at all, which was a shame: they all seemed tired and over it.
The place has so much potential and turnover is evidently high: it just needs a decent front of house manager to cheer the staff up.
We will return, and hope for more charismatic service.
The Pickled Duck was packed when we visied for lunch on a Sunday. Still, we managed to get a table instantly and service came quickly. The diner has a rustic like vibe, exposed brick walls, wooden panels and warm tones.
Between the 3 of us, we ordered 2 burgers and a pizza with a side of chips and onion rings. All mains were packed with flavour, meat ingredients were pull apart tender. The chips were cooked to perfection and the onion rings were the tastiest that I've tried. The small negative to the meals was the large amount of oil. While they were good, they certainly left us craving for something fresh. A small side salad would have been nice to balance the bloated feeling we recieved after. Presentation could also be improved.
We also noticed that a few cleaning products (along with a bucket and hose) had been left out near us, that was a unsavory to look at when eating.
Overall we really enjoyed our meals and would recommend this location to any gourment food lover.
Went here for lunch. Great food. The menu has a good selection. We wanted to try everything! The burgers have great flavours. Yummy loaded milkshakes. Plenty of seating for busy lunch times.
Went for dinner on a Tuesday night. The place was cranking!! I could hardly hear the person we were sitting with across the table, it was so noisy in there. Meals took their time to come out (they were busy) but the burgers were very tasty and the sides were amazing! The chips side we ordered (pictured) was basically nachos but with chips EPIC!!!!! Not bad for a pub based walk in cafe style burger bar. Think we will be back!! 👍🏻👍🏻😊
