We had dinner here on night 2 of our stay at bannisters by the sea. Easy hotel transfer to the pavilion. We loved the roof top terrace, it was really busy but had a great vibe. The menu was simple and we decided on lots of starters to share rather than mains and the food was excellent! Fish tacos with mango were delicious. Friendly service and the ginger bubbles cocktails were yum! Great value for money with everything priced well! A great place to go with a group of you!

Well known casual eatery in Mollymook. The food was largely good but the market of the day fish (snapper) was disappointing. The serving portion was small for the price and the fish was mushy and lacked flavour. The oysters on the other hand was fabulous. Good range of drinks including cocktails and has a Cuban feel interior. Wait staff were friendly and very attentive.

What a great way to start our weekend with a few cocktails at the Bannister’s Roof top bar. The service was impeccable and a great holiday atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Can highly recommend adding this to your South Coast itinerary.

Beautiful dining experience with a great bar to match along with a delightful ambience. Excellent menu with a decent wine list. Service was excellent and prompt without being intrusive. This is another option to dining at the Rick Stein restaurant at Bannisters by the Sea (separate review to follow). Colino1861 highly recommended ✅️💯

Went to rooftop bar for food. Considering the disappointing experience we had Bannister's by the sea and Rick Stein's restaurant wasn't expecting a lot. But was pleasantly surprised by the service and food. Attentive staff and quick service on a busy night. The food was great and generous servings. The only slight negative was that some dishes like the eggplant chips were over salted.

The whole night and dining experience was excellent. Compliments to the chef. The night was busy but the waitstaff handled it like absolute champions. They were attentive and kind and never missed a beat. We started off with some olives and eggplant chips which was fantastic and plentiful. Next came sashimi and sticky wings and the portions were very generous. For the mains was the steak and schnitzel and both were absolutely cooked to perfection. The meal was finished off with some sorbet and hazelnut affogato. Our bellies were full and we were very satisfied. If you’re looking for a gorgeous restaurant with top quality service and amazing food, look no further!

Very professional staff we felt well looked after and the stay and food were 5 star as well. we stayed for 2 nights and also had Pizza at Banisters by the Sea. I loved it there, a magical view but I was happy we stayed at the Pavilion the pool and the upper deck for chilling was perfect.

Absolutely amazing place to grab a meal and have some drinks. This place has lots of stuff to like. Easy to park, with ample space just off Tallwood Ave. We booked for lunch and had a great little table outside on the rooftop. Top atmosphere with a garden wrapped around the outer wall offering great privacy from the road below. Staff being efficient and courteous meant the service was friendly and fast. Nick O'Leary Riesling by the glass and Stone and Wood Pacific ale on tap is a good option. We shared an entree of salt and pepper calamari, with the prawn linguine, and steak as mains. Steak was great, but the pasta was definately the pick of the day! We had a 3 month old baby in a pram and access was no problem at all. We didn't see specific facilities for baby changing, but there was ample room in the ladies toilets to do this. Looking forward to coming here again! There were quite a few diners by the time we finished eating, definately recommend booking ahead.

We stopped here for lunch on the way further south and this atmospheric eatery provided the perfect cheery respite from the howling rain. The food was both interesting and delicious, there were good wines by the glass (the Sangiovese in particular was excellent) and the service was both friendly and efficient. The prawn linguine had the perfect garlicky oil with a kick of chilli and the surprise dish was the crunchy chicken schnitzel with a wonderful buttermilk sauce and buttery cabbage slaw scattered with sliced grapes (trust me it was good 💥). The tomatoes in a nori, yuzu and sesame sauce were also a revelation. Really, I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever you try so definitely give it a go! 🌟
