I took a couple of friends from the mid north coast to Tallwood last night. We chose the chef’s tasting plate and were extremely impressed with the selection we received, the high quality of the food and the generosity of the servings. The staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful and all in all it was a delightful experience. I would highly recommend Tallwood for an exciting eating experience.

We had read about how fantastic Gwylo was so we added this to our list of places to explore on our weekend away. Even before we got there everyone we spoke to said how much they loved it and could not speak more highly of this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The service was really quick. The food sensational. Definitely worth adding to your South Coast itinerary.
Move over Rick Stein because based on our experience, Gwylo is the best restaurant in town. Whilst lacking the magnificent view, Gwylo made up for it with flavour and creativity. I am sorry to see some negative experiences here but I can only talk about mine. We came here on Wednesday night and it was so good we brought four friends back in Thursday night.
As Sydneysiders, we are quite spoilt for Asian food, so Gwylo was a delightful surprise. Every dish that came out was sublime - highly recommend the octopus and fish cakes. Plus the baos are the best I have ever had, a big compliment considering I have had many over my lifetime. The staff were very attentive and were able to accomodate our request on the second night to move to an outside table if it became available, making it more covid safe.
I haven’t raved about a meal this much since going to Gaku and will definitely make Gwylo a regular visit when I am in Mollymook.

Second Time and Definitely Not Our Last!
The food and service are phenomenal, every dish and cocktail is done with so much care and attention to detail. The staff are exceptional and attentive.
Hot tip, book WAY EARLY to avoid disappointment
This was our second visit to Gwylo and we were delighted to find that last night’s dining experience was just as good as the first. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive, the food is outstanding and the ambience is as hip as any Sydney restaurant, but with none of the pretentiousness. ‘Destination Dining’ at its best!
Dined there last night with my wife. LOVED the experience. Food was magnificent, and the cocktails made by Clancy were world class. Do yourself a favour and make a booking immediately!
