Friendly staff and great service. Great menu options, if you love eggs then this is the place to come. In saying that lots of other options too. I had the avocado on toast with dukkah and haloumi I it was so tasty, my friend had the Spanish eggs and thought it was divine and my partner hoed into the shushaka which was great too, everyone was mopping up their plates as it was so tasty. Great place for a casual brekky or lunch and you can check out the chooks in the backyard.
This cafe is great. The food is delicious and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. We came for breakfast and had a pram with us. The staff gave us a table that fit all of us and including the pram and continued provide us with wonderful service right up until we left. Also have toys for kids to play with and chickens in the courtyard.
Will definitely go again and try their lunch menu.
High review for coffee and bacon and egg roll. But this was exactly what the Doctor ordered.
Food seemed fresh and super tasty with added relish. The coffee was nice and strong. Didn’t taste like a cup of warm milk.
Not from this area but if puking through I’d stop by even just for a coffee.
Ventured out to try this place and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Cute set up with a hen pen out the back, spacious and family friendly. Service is fantastic and so is their menu.
We had the crispy eggs which is very filling, all 3 tacos were delish and the zucchini fritters were slight too oily but came with generous portion of tasty kale salad. But the fav item on the menu would be the gaytime baos drizzled with Nutella which are a must try😍 so save room for them.
Came for brunch with a friend and sat out in the courtyard on a beautiful sunny day.
The outdoor area was beautiful and we were so happy with our dishes.
I ordered the Tunisian eggs and it was one of the best brunch dishes I’ve had in a very long time!

Was in the area and wanted to pop in for lunch and my goodness! The fried chicken burger is something else!! I'm always sceptical with burgers because most places taste the same but HERE! Out of this world! The textures was spot on and everything complimented each other. My partner loved the halloumi baked eggs and the juices were superb! Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area

AMAZING and you’d never expect something as simple as fried eggs to be done as well as they were at Brother Hen.
FOOD & COFFEE: I ordered the Brother Hen Crispy Fried Eggs and it was PHENOMENAL. I also added on some chorizo because I’ve feeling hungrayyy and everything about the dish was perfect! I’ve never had eggs fried the way they did it! It was so crispy but the egg was still the perfect texture of not too runny or solid and with the truffle oil??? Flavour EXPLOSION! The pumpkin hummus was also spectacular because it provided a mild sweetness but a hummus texture??? GENIUS! The savoury granola and goats cheese added the crunch and flavour that completed the dish and I can solidly say this was probably one of the best savoury dishes I’ve ever had in my entire life! They also provided coffees to people who Google Reviewed them and tbh I would’ve given them a 5/5 star review because they truly deserve it! The coffee is also really really good, super smooth!! One of the best coffees I’ve ever had

Brother Hen is your neighbourhood cafe, they’re not trying to go over the top but their food speaks wonders for themselves! Their food provides all the comfort you need on a morning or afternoon and their friendly staff and charm makes you want to keep coming back for more!
Have been twice now - both times were great! The zucchini fritters and Viet salad were delish, partner and then friend I went with had the baked eggs and smashed avo respectively - every meal has been a hit.
I’m not a coffee drinker but am told it’s great, and I’ve loved my chai lattes here.

This place has been on my list for quite sometime now. Finally got the time to go down today and eat some brunch and try the golden gaytime Nutella baos which left me speechless!
I had the middle eastern egg breakfast which was a different choice then what I’d usually get when I go out for brunch and I’m so glad I did, it was delicious! The staff were incredibly kind and happy with smiles on their faces. I can’t wait to go back and try something different 😊
Brunch Goodness 😍 Brother Hen has a stunning interior and a beautiful menu! My mum and I went here and enjoyed the Breakfast Board with tomoatos and I enjoyed a delicious Acai smoothie! Great feed, will definitely be back soon!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The food, ambiance, staff, service and their coffee is 10/10. You cannot fault anything about this cute cafe. The courtyard in the back is so accomodating for bigger groups and has room for prams. You can bring your kids along and they'll be entertained by the chicken coop. I highly recommend their signature dish crispy eggs and the Chicken tacos are to die for!
